Pre knowledge of the students: Learned different methods of water purification

GENERAL OBJECTIVES: At the end of the field visit students will be able gain in depth
knowledge regarding process of water purification and its importance to improve and
maintain healthy environment in the community.

SPECIFIC OBJECTIVES: At the end of my field visit students will be able to

1. To get acquainted with the location of water treatment plant

2. To draw the physical set up of the water treatment plant
3. To explain the organizational set up and it’s staffing pattern.
4. To understand the importance of safe water supply to the community
5. To discuss the community health importance of the water treatment plant.
6. To describe the process of treating water.
7. To identify the activities of the organization
8. To increase their awareness of the complexity of water purification.
9. To understand the process of water supply.
10. To understand the criteria and standards used to assess the quality of water
11.To describe the government policies for water treatment plant
12.To explain the financial support of the organization.
