Message
Conference Chair

On behalf of the organising committee, I am

honoured and delighted to welcome all of you to the
International Graduate Conference on Engineering,
Science and Humanities (IGCESH) 2013.

The response and trust given to the conference are

overwhelming from the numbers of papers received to
be considered for the conference, which makes the
selection of papers difficult. The committee had been
forced to keep a tight acceptance rate for reasons of
space. Hence, all papers are subject to peer review
and thorough selection. A total of nearly 600 submissions were received and only
300 papers were accepted for the oral presentations and later to be included in the
conference proceedings. The IGCESH2013 serves as an interdisciplinary venue for
inspiring new ideas, presenting cutting-edge studies and encouraging collaborations
between international scholars. It brings together researchers from various
disciplines and areas including engineering, science, information technology, built
environment, education, business and management.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank all paper presenters and authors for the
support given to the conference. My sincere thanks to the IGCESH013 team in
putting their heart and soul towards the success of the conference. My special
thanks to the steering committee, Prof. Ali Selamat and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Sevia
Mahdaliza Idrus who helped with the thousand details. And, my sincere appreciation
to the management and staff of School of Graduate Studies, UTM for the assistance
rendered. Let me conclude by thanking all the members of the organizing
committee, the members of the Review Committee, and to all who have contributed
directly or indirectly to build the Conference program, and all persons or
organizations that have supported our work in many ways and have contributed to
the success of IGCESH2013.
