Each country is a world full of traditions and cultures. Sport is a
form of culture. Therefore, it is no surprise that different nations
invented different sports. There are many very special sports that
you may not know. In Afghanistan people play buzkashi, an

aggressive sport in which players ride horses, they charge dead goat
until a goal. In Anguilla, they practice yacht racing, people sail
yachts or large boats from one point to another. In many countries
such as Antigua and Barbuda, Barbados, Bermuda, Grenada,
Guyana, Australia and Jamaica, cricket is the national sport where
players hit a ball with a bat. In Argentina there is a sport called pato.
Pato has characteristics of basketball and polo. It was originally
played with a live duck, but today people use a ball instead. There
are many other sports in other countries like sloop sailing in
Bahamas where people race on a sailing boat, or kabaddi in
Bangladesh, a sport where two teams of seven players each take
turns to run across the center line to the other team's half of the court
and back.
