NOTES *1: verification results with normal genuine notes sampled from the market, excluding the following
condition of notes.
• Notes defined in chapter 2.4 of the document, “HITACHI CASH MODULE Product
Specifications Model: HT-3842-XXX”, and chapter 1.2 of this document.

• With soil or strains, which affect the banknote design
*2: This means denomination error between the supporting denominations shown in table 1.2.
The figure is verified by simulation.
The figure is not applied to the currencies / denominations, which are not listed in the table 1.1
and table 1.2, such as newly issued denominations, foreign currencies and so on.
*3: Classification of counterfeits and validation performance are defined in item No. 6 of table 6-1-1
Product Reliability in chapter 6 of the document; “HITACHI CASH MODULE Product
Specifications Model: HT-3842-XXX”.
In order that HCM/UR handles the currency supported by this validation software, hardware adjustments and
software parameter settings must be performed as in the parameters in Table 3.1 for HCM and Table 3.2 for UR.
Please also refer to ‘Hardware Setting Manual’ and ‘Interface Specifications (Message Volume)’ for the
hardware / software settings of HCM/UR.
