Designation: Assistant Manager (Design & Development)

Roles & responsibilities:
 Collect design inputs, specification, Benchmarking samples and functional requirement of
customer.
 Interaction with marketing, Project planning and management, cost estimation sheet(RFQ)
preparation & DFMEA of projects.
 Concept design with all consideration like standards acceptation(ETRTO, ITTAC ,TRA ,BIS
,EUWA etc.), feasibility of tooling & manufacturing processes, Design calculations, Material
selection, concept Tool designing ,Calculation of blank size or input raw material for rolling,
blanking and forming operation, FEA analysis with help of ANSYS Workbench and Design
review with tool design, production & tool room team.
 Co-ordinate with marketing, tool design and tool room for different phase of product
development.
 Product validation by testing standards like IS ,ISO ,JIS ,EUWA etc.
 Work on Cost optimization or VA/VE projects of existing products.
 Create certificates of wheels for LCC, GADSL ,RoHS ,REACH etc. as per customer
requirement.
 Manage a team & work distribution according to decided timing plan.
 Documentation work like ECR, ECN, PPAP & APQP as per IATF standard.
 Material Code & Bill of materials preparation in SAP (ERP).

Project Undertaking & Achievement :

 Modeling & analysis with Weight reduction of truck wheel by 4 kg for one of our OEM
customer by using NX 8.5 & ANSYS 15.0.
 VA/VE of some Tractor wheels by commonize thickness and grade variation.
 Designed five numbers of car wheel variant with common tooling cost cause cost saving.

Professional Qualifications :

 Completed Post Graduate Diploma in Tool Design and CAD CAM course from Indo German
Tool Room (M.S.M.E), Ahmedabad. in Jan 2018 With 75% of marks
 Completed 4-yrs B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering from Universal College of Engineering
and Technology in June, 2016 with CGPA: 6.83

 I got online certified training of ANSYS software from ELEATION,Pune.

 Third rank in “Drawing competition” Organized by Gujarat State Art Teachers Association in
2008.
