It is for the reason that it is convincing and

encouraging everyone to follow and express their own truth regardless of their gender norms in order
to reach their full potential and be able to contribute to our society.

The type of speech according to purpose is Informative. It is because the speech is informing the
readers about a particular topic and which is how the technological and agricultural development
during the Neolithic Revolution cause Nomadic tribes to settle down into stationary lifestyles; and
woman began to stay at home while men worked which contributed to gender roles and inequality.

The type of speech according to purpose is Entertainment. It is because the speech itself is
entertaining. The speech contains elements evident in an entertainment speech like irony and jokes
(not literally). It captivates the reader’s attention while ensuring the delivery of the message.

It is important to behave according to my own preference because being myself in this world where
the society is trying to make me someone else makes me shine and stand out through my flaws and
imperfections. In that way, I can express myself well and reach my full potential to be able to
contribute to our society. The society doesn’t own me and it will never define who I am. I’m the one
who control what I want to become, it’s not my mother, my siblings or the society’s expectations.
The choice is always mine; whatever society may claim it can’t control me.

Men and women are equal in the workplace. Men can do things women cannot; however, there are
also those that women can do and men cannot. There are suitable for men, while there are also those
that can be done better with a female employee. Both men and women can do similar things, but
performances would vary. Each of us is created unique regardless of the similarities in gender. We
must look beyond what the outer appearance of a person conveys. Thus, if and only both men and
women work together and disregard these norms, more incredible things will be accomplished.

The three particular Filipino traits that I’m proud of includes hospitality, resiliency, and
resourcefulness. I am proud of these traits because that what makes Filipinos outstand and shine not
only to the country but even to foreigners. As Filipinos, we offer the best treatment for our visitors
and even to some strangers because you know we are compassionate and very kind people. We are
known to be talented and highly creative. When we are faced with a dire situation our automatic
response is to find ways to get out of it. Lastly, I admire the Filipinos resiliency which shows that
there’s more to life than suffering. It shows that we still manage to smile and continue to thrive even
after going through a lot. These traits are what makes us unique as Filipinos and it’s something to be
proud of and not to be ashamed of.
