COURSE AIM
This model course aims to meet the mandatory minimum requirements for
the knowledge, understanding and proficiency in Table A-II/1 of STCW
2010, for Function 1: Navigation at the Operational Level. The course
description has been designed in accordance to the IMO model course 7.03
(2014 edition)

COURSE OBJECTIVE
This syllabus covers the requirements of the STCW 2010 Convention
Chapter II, Section A-II/1. This functional element provides the detailed
knowledge to support the training outcomes related to Navigation at the
Operational Level.
