I usually use Bisaya or Cebuano when I am speaking and dwelling with other people in my
community.
I am comfortable and prefer to use Bisaya language when communicating people around my
community but I also use Filipino language as my language when I socialize online or outside
my community so that I could communicate easily for both of us.
I am Bisaya and Ilonggo by blood but for me I identify myself as Bisaya speaker.
4. Which ethnic identification does (did) your mother and father use?
They Bi-racial because both of my parents are Ilonggo and Bisaya by blood but they prefer to
identify their selves as Bisaya.
5. What as the ethnic origin of the friends a peers of you had as child?
My friends and I, when I was a child are the same, we are both Bisaya.
Now that everything is in online form, that we make new world by the means of Social media
sites that we can communicate easily, anywhere all over the globe. This new age or the
modernization brought so much changes in such now I can talk and communicate with Tagalog
speakers as well as Foreigners that usually use English language. This means that it broadens the
communication process to make friends with my outside community.
I like OPM songs, especially when it is written in Filipino language. Indeed, I like to watch TV
usually in free TV or the national channels that we have, in connection to that, I am fan of
Filipino films because somebody I want to be a Independent Film Maker and a Writer to
showcase Philippines Films and promote Filipino culture and Life.
8. Where were you born?
Actually I am not into reading but sometimes I like to read science books specifically discoveries
but I am fan of reading Tula or Filipino fictions. Thus, I am into writing, I like to make short film
scripts, scripts for visual poetry, spoken word poetry while using Filipino language because I feel
so much connected when I am writing it in Filipino.
If will rate it from 1-10, I'm going to give 10 because Bisaya people are so established nowadays,
many Bisaya are known so do I. I am proud that I am Bisaya because it makes me who I am, it
has been part of me.
