Guide Questions for the Activity in Nail Care

Directions: prepare a brief discussion based on the given questions.

1. If you are come up with your own manicuring tool box, what are the most essential tools
do you need to have? Why?
- For me the most essential tools I need to have is first, cuticle because the function of
it is to protect new nails from the bacteria when they grow out from the nail root. And
of course if there’s a cuticle, there should be a cuticle pusher that is used to push our
cuticle back and make our nail grow healthier and stronger and also the nail nipper to
remove the dirt around the cuticles and lastly nail cutter to help our nails stronger and
also without it we cannot trim our nails so these 4 are the most essential tool if I come
up with my own manicuring box.

2. What is nail care considered as an integral part of one’s hygiene?

- Nail care is considered as an integral part because our hands and feet are naturally
exposed to dirt, which makes them vulnerable to damage. Taking care of our nails can
help you determine the health of your body and is essential to the health of our hands
and feet as well. Caring of the nails is a healthy habit because it prevents the skin
from drying out, softens the rough areas and reduces the tendency to contract toenails
and ingrown fingernails.
