As part of the final exam, I created an artwork that will be regarded as a creative work.

As a surface medium, I used a disposable facemask, and as a pigment medium, I used a poster
painting. I used two different paint brushes to achieve my desired design.

I chose an owl as the centerpiece because it represents wisdom, intuition, supernatural

power, independent thinking, and attentive listening. It is a mysterious figure who appears in
myths, folklore, and even in every culture in the world. Owls exist for a reason; they are not here
to serve us, but they have a lot to teach us. Owls have a mysterious ability that describes a
superpower that is unique to the animal kingdoms. This quality is inspiring because of their
uncommon characteristics.

I decided to put this owl at the center because of its strange eyes, which are frightening to
look at. I considered painting it on my face mask so that the virus wouldn't get close to me and
the said virus would be afraid to go close to me right away because of it.

The garden in the background indicates that gardens have long been used to express the
interests, talents, and values of notable individuals, and this continues to instruct and inspire
everyone. We garden to watch things grow, to interact with nature, to play in, to find refuge, to
heal, and to honor the earth.

Color theory also provides tools for comprehending how colors interact with one another.
The color yellow is associated with the sun, smiley faces, and sunflowers. It's a cheerful,
youthful color that exudes hope and optimism. It's another color that draws your attention and, as
a result, can also be used to indicate caution. Green is the color most commonly associated with
springtime, freshness, and hope. Green is frequently used to represent rebirth, renewal, and
immortality.

Overall, I have decided to include these details to showcase the same symbol of
manliness that represents courage, and being strong, as well as to relate to the said
background, the appreciation of our mother nature. Because we Filipinos are known to be loving
and fond of the fruits of our nature. It can also be linked to the trend of plants in this pandemic,
where many people enjoy planting and beautifying various types of plants as a way to help
relieve each other's stress and have time to relax and important is to unwind.
