Introduction

First, Thank you for giving me a chance to be interviewed for this position today.

Let me introduce myself, My name is Alfin from Sidoarjo, I am 28 years old.

I have 5 years experiences working in PT. JAS Aero Engineering Services as Technical Publication or it
can be documents controller, then I move to Export Import division in 2019 especially in bonded
zone for Airfreight shipments.

Currently, I work for PT. Donata Agung Perkasa (3rd company under Maersk Line Company) with the
position as CHB (Customs House Brokarage) especially in sea freight export shipments. In this
company, I took care of customs documents for customs clearance, I recorded around 80 documents
in a week.

Questions
1. How do you know this position ?

I knew this job vacancy from Mr. Feroze Kamal, he currently work in Maersk Line Indonesia as a
CHB Leader.

I am interested with this position because it is related with my work experiences. I’m looking for
the chance to expand my learning put to use my skill and experience.

2. Why do you want to join this company ?

I hope can handle more customers in this company. Currently I handled two customers, there
are PT. Intera Indonesia and PT. Intertrend Utama, both company have wooden furniture
commodity. So, we have to Vlegal document for export customs clearance. If you hire me in this
position, I am sure you will quickly see a positive improvement on your investment.

3. Why should we hire you ?

I have experience for CHB Airfreight and Sea freight that related with position that I applied.
Beside that, I can do multitasking work such as IT support, computerization, communication skill
to Customs Officer, and also I can work under pressure as a team or individual.

4. What can you bring to the company ?

Maersk Line has customers who continue grow every year, so that it also affects the volume of
exports that increase every year. This company needs the qualified and experienced man-power,
with my presence I hope to help this company to develop and overcome the various issues.

5. What is your strength ?

I think my strength is communication skill. During my last work, I was asked to help managing
the AOG on Jetstar Asia for wheels lack issue. Only 2 hours I had to handled it, I communicated
with many parties such as Airlines, Internal Management, and customs, with effective
communication skill customs clearance was successful.

6. What is your weakness ?

Sometimes, I lose focus when I am occupied with so many tasks. Then, I came up with a to do list
and time management system and make sure everything is on the track.

7. What is your professional achievement ?

Situation :

At the moment, there were regular and non-regular (SOC) shipments with large volumes, 18 for
regular and 30 for non-regular shipments.

Task :

At that time, I was the only one in the CHB position in Intera, I had to make sure all shipments
run smoothly due both had the same closing container, eventhough they were on different
vessel.

Action :

I coordinated with Pak Feroze as my leader and CHB team in Jakarta for dividing the tasks.
Concluded, I handled 18 reguler shipments for PEB creation and V-legal creation for regular &
non-regular shipments. Besides that, CHB team in JKT helped to PEB creation for 30 non-regular
(SOC) shipments and Yellow Card process.

Result :

All shipments can be run smoothly and stack according to schedule.

2. CS team request CI and PO from Intera’s Marketing
3. IPL Creation by CS and then confirmed by Intera Marketing
4. Vlegal and PEB creation by CHB based on IPL that created by CS, also waiting container no.
from vendor to process NPE for gate in purpose
5. COO creation if needed (customer request)
6. Follow up fumigation and ISPM certificate with Final BL
