The following maintenance manual has been prepared by UFE in reference to the 32 Cavity Quasar Chassis mold.
This manual is meant to provide support and reference information for safe keeping and maintenance of the
mold but it is by no means exhaustive in all aspect. As it is done with the best of our ability with the information
and knowledge available during the time this manual is prepared. For revisions to this maintenance manual
please contact UFE via emails.

* For Major Maintenance, it involves the same procedures as General maintenance, level B with additional steps
stated below:
+The number of shot cycle for periodic maintenance is the best estimates from the mold maker. Molders should
redefine the necessary interval for the different level of maintenance to be carried out based on the actual
performance of the mold and the product requirements, but it should not exceed the recommended intervals.
Please note that the dismantling instruction during each process is referable since it is the reverse process while
doing assembly.

– Cleaning of mold surface and all reachable part of the mold on the press. Refer to the symbol in each
step where special lubrication or a lubrication technique is required.

CAUTION:
Molds which have been taken down should immediately proceed to general/major maintenance, as corrosion of cooling channel
may take place in the absence of circulating cooling medium.
Note:
Every time open A plate need to check
the nozzle tip insulator have crack,
damaged or missing.
