Insomnia is a disorder that causes sufferers to have difficulty falling asleep or not
getting enough sleep, even though there is enough time to do so. This disorder can
have an impact on the patient's activities the next day.

Sleep time and a person's satisfaction after sleep affects a person's quality of life
and overall health. In general, people need 8 hours of sleep a day to keep their
bodies fit.

Generally, insomnia is divided into two types, namely primary insomnia, and
secondary insomnia.

Primary insomnia is a sleep disorder that is not related to a person's health condition.
Whereas secondary insomnia is a sleep disorder that occurs due to other medical
conditions, for example, there is a history of depression, GERD, and others.

Insomnia is usually characterized by difficulty falling or staying asleep. Usually there


are also other symptoms, such as fatigue and sleepiness during the day, and lack of
focus in activities
Insomnia itself can be prevented by doing several things, such as:
- Don't eat and drink too much before bed
- Don't drink alcohol and caffeinated drinks too often
- Try to be active during the day so you don't get sleepy and take a nap.
