Annexure D – Printer Setup for Passbook Printing

To print any kind of report(s), following steps need to be followed:

Step 1 : Install the Generic/Text Printer driver on your PC, if not installed earlier.

Step 2 : Line & Passbook Printer Set up for printing in Fin 10x:

For Windows 7

1. Click on Start Icon and Select Devices and Printers

2. Click on the Generic/Text from the list of the printers for the purpose of Printing and then click
on Print Server Properties

After clicking on Print server properties. Print server properties screen will appear on your PC

a) Click on the “create a new form”check-box

b) Please enter the form name as “FinX”
c) In Form description (measurements):
d) Select Units as English and give printer area margins same as mentioned in the picture
e) Then press OK button

3. Click on Start Icon and Select Devices and Printers.

4. Click on the generic/Text printer from the list of the printers.

5. Right click on the selected printer and click on “Set as default printer” to make these printer
settings as default printer in your system.

6. Right click on the selected printer and go to Printer Properties.

7. In Printer properties, select Preferences in General Tab.

8. Then in Preferences, click on “advanced” button.

9. Select the Paper Size as FinX from the drop down list and then click Ok.

10. Go to “Advanced”tab,click on the ‘Printing Defaults’ button.

Now repeat steps 8 & 9.

11. Now the cursor will go back to the Generic/ Text only printing preferences page.
Please click on the ‘Apply’ and ‘OK’ buttons to save the changes.

12. Common Settings for Internet Explorer (IE 11 and below)

1. Go to file option in the menu bar in IE and select the “Page Setup”option

2. Make sure to set all the parameter in Page Setup as mentioned in the below picture.

3. Right Click on the printer in that printer properties is available click on it

4. In that printer properties click on preferences. It appears preferences dialogue box.

5. Click on Advances in Preferences. It appears Advances option dialogue box.

Printer Features:

6. Click OK and Click Apply.
