DRAMA CLASSROOM MANAGEMENT
You are a future drama teacher. You will take on a vital and important role that will have a
major impact on the lives of your students. You will be teaching real life skills that every
student will need when they go out into the world: communication, creative problem solving,
critical thinking, and collaboration.

Self-Assessment
What are your strengths going into the classroom? What are your weaknesses?
The first step in becoming a successful classroom teacher is to identify your strengths and
weaknesses. By reflecting on where you are right now, and identifying areas where you could
use improvement, you will have the opportunity for growth. This Reflection will lay the
foundation for growth and stability in your classroom.
