OBSERVE
Observe a class and interview the Resource Teacher. Ask how the personal and physical aspects of
classroom management ensure proper classroom management and discipline.
ANALYZE
Analyze the different elements of personal/ physical classroom management and answer the following
question.
The tone of the teacher's voice is a strong tool. It establishes the tone and environment for the entire
classroom in terms of engagement, behavior, and relationships with pupils. It provides some useful insights
from teachers who have experimented with how their tone of voice influences the functionality of their
classrooms.
Punctuality is a major issue in education; there is nothing worse than devoting your valuable time to create
an exceptional lesson just for students to appear late, unapologetic and unconcerned about the impact this
has on you or your students.Punctuality provides students a head start in life and plays a critical role in their
academic and professional success. Professionals and adults value punctuality not just as a desirable trait,
but also because it allows them to live a completely new life that is worthy of imitation. Children want
timeliness because it provides them with consistency, security, and self-confidence.
As you can see, everything that happens in your classroom is planned to align with the teacher's goals and
purposes. The physical environment is important in classroom management because it influences both
teacher and student behavior. Some behaviors are made possible by this intricate and detailed planning,
while others are eliminated. The physical environment of the classroom can aid in the prevention of
behavioral issues as well as the promotion and improvement of learning. The organization of the learning
environment is critical for both teachers and students. That's why as a teacher we need to check the physical
aspect of classroom management for the seek of student's learning outcomes.
REFLECT
In teaching, there are no positive outcomes if you do not have good and effective classroom management
that you have applied as your strategies to achieve your objectives and goals as a teacher. So we must look
for an effective classroom management method to ensure good outcomes.
As a future teacher, I would follow the recommendations of various studies on effective classroom
management strategies that can help me to implement and ensure the effectiveness of my classroom
management.

1. Model to the students how to act in different situations.
ANALYZE
Analyze the checklist you have accomplished and answer the given questions:
1. How many strategies were employed by the Resource Teacher? Did these contribute to better classroom
management? Explain your answer.
There are two strategies the resource teacher implies in her discussion: first, Inquiry-based instruction where
she encourage students to ask questions and investigate their own ideas to helps improve their problem-
solving skills as well as gain a deeper understanding of the topic. Second, technology in the classroom like
laptop, cellphone, power point presentation to present her lesson. These strategies contributed to her
deliberation of topics as what as planned.
2.What were not used by the Resource Teacher? Were these important? What should have been used instead? Explain.
I think there is nothing else the resource teacher needs to apply aside from what I mentioned above despite
the situation right now.
REFLECT
As a future teacher, reflect on the observations then answer the given question.
1. What classroom management strategies do I need to employ to respond to diverse types of learners?
There are several ways for teachers to ensure that the classroom environment and curriculum are
responsive to our society's increasing cultural diversity as follows: Get to know your students, maintain
consistent communication, acknowledge and respect every student, practice cultural sensitivity, and
incorporate diversity in the lesson plan. These strategies will promote cultural awareness in all students
while also enhancing each student's sense of identity and fostering inclusion in the classroom community.
