What is happening right now?

In our current situation, we are facing a defective and disastrous society because of COVID-19. It
led many students and workers to develop mental health and financial problems. As for me, I
have trouble during online classes because not all times I have a good internet connection and can
participate well in any academic performance seeing that my family is not good enough
sometimes to help me with my academic performance and mental health. That was hard for me as
a student and made me suffer every day. I might say that this is the miserable 2 years of my life
hoping that it would end someday.

Why there is a COVID- 19?

COVID-19 existed because of our exploitation of animals. At first, we did not mind that the
COVID-19 was very deadly until it became a global threat to our bodies. It is also because we
don't mind what we eat, people who are poor usually eat animals that have parasites such as
cockroaches, rats, and worms. COVID-19 was brought by us because we do not how to protect
ourselves from danger and we merely indulge ourselves in something that is wrong and filthy
surroundings that are prone to diseases.

How does the COVID-19 virus spread?

Because of our absent-minded and ignorance, the COVID-19 cases grow rapidly with the hundred
of deaths every day. Some do not abide by the rules and only complaints about the protocols
which are very annoying for me, who follow the protocols. According to WHO:
Current evidence suggests that the virus spreads mainly between people who are in close contact
with each other, typically within 1 meter (short-range). A person can be infected when aerosols or
droplets containing the virus are inhaled or come directly into contact with the eyes, nose, or
mouth
Those people who join mass gatherings, birthday, or wedding and does not follow the protocols
are more likely to get infected by the virus which more cases will spread. Even though some of us
are aware and conscious of our actions, there are some people who still insist on going out and
get infected without having a second thought.

How come the prices of products and medicines are so expensive?

Increases in food prices can have a major impact on the living standards of lower-income
households, which generally spend most of their income on food. Since we are living in crisis, it's
hard to collect and transport raw materials because they require quarantine and checking for more
security of packages. The production of products and medicines are slow because of the lack of
employees operating the machine and assorting the products into the boxes. We all know that
money is the top priority of all because without money, we can't buy the products we need
especially in this pandemic

How come students are having a mental breakdown during this pandemic?

As a student, I also experience a mental breakdown because of the blending of school works,
family problems, house chores, and doing my responsibility as a sister. I may shed tears because
of how hard it is to handle and it made me trigger every night. An article on Mental Illness also
stated that “Nearly three in 10 (29%) say their child is “already experiencing harm” to their
emotional or mental health because of social distancing and closures. Another 14% indicate their
children are approaching their limits, saying they could continue social distancing a few more
weeks until their mental health suffers.” Maybe because our generation is having a hard time to
cope, where the last years are experienced with happiness and freedom while today is all about
sacrificing and desolation

Why do we still defend and believe in love even if someone betrays and abandon us?
