How to do Laundry

Step 1: Separation
First separate the clothes in colors; whites
and colors, the reason for this is to avoid
color transference.
Step 2:
Next remember to check all the pockets before putting it
in the washer in case there is anything in them, in order
for it to not be ruined.
Step 3:
Now you should treat any stains if there are
any, for an example, if there are grease stains
than you should *wet the area of the stain and
apply **liquid dish detergent to it, use a
toothbrush or anything similar to scrub it.

*Note: it's possible that your washing machine


has options to remove certain stains in that
case just do as the machine says.

**Note: you could also try applying vinegar or


baking soda, they all work great
Step 4: Symbols of Washing
Before we put the clothes in the machine we first need to know how to wash the
cloth, most clothes would probably have a fabric care tag which will us how to
wash it.

The first symbols are the how to wash symbols, they tell us if the cloth is able to
be washed in the machine or they are to be hand washed or only dry clean.

The next symbols are the symbols that determine the temperature you wash the
clothes on, one dot means cold, two means warm, and three means hot.

The third and set of symbols are there to tell us what setting to put the clothes
on depending there fabric.

The last set of symbols tell us if the clothes are okay to bleach or not and what
type of clothes to use.
Step 5:
Now it's finally time to put the clothes in the
washer, it would be best not to fill the
washer for more than 80%, next add the
detergent, fabric softener, and bleach
(depending on what you’re using) then turn
on the washer and set the temperature and
the cycle type depending on the clothing.
Symbols of Drying and
Ironing
These symbols are the symbols that tell us how to dry our clothes

The first symbols are the how to dry symbols, they tell us if the cloth is able to be
dry in the machine or they are to be hanged in order to be dry .

The next symbols are the symbols that determine the temperature you dry the
clothes on, no dots mean any heat, one dot means high heat, two means medium,
and three means low heat, and if the whole circle is colored in it means no heat.

The third and set of symbols are there to tell us what setting to put the clothes on
depending there fabric.

The last set of symbols tell us if the clothes are okay to iron and in which heat they
should be done on.
Step 6: Drying
The last step is to take the cloths out of the
washer and put in the dryer, remember to
put the items in the dryer few at a time in
order to avoid clamping and tangling, also
only fill the clothes up to 75%. After your
clothes are done drying remember to take
them and fold them. Also if your clothes
need to be ironed remember to do so after
the checking the tag.
