nations had me asking what do these numbers mean

2. Insights (What new insights or learning did you gain in discussion/ activity?)

i. Before reading the article/understanding the lesson, I thought that I understood what a
“Market” is. However, after reading the article/understanding the lesson, I now think/realize
this goes way harder on the concept of what a market is. I am also slightly more
knowledgeable now regarding the topic beforehand.

ii. Before reading the article/understanding the lesson, I thought that the Philippines was the
only one struggling to get a foothold on the big stage. However, after reading the
article/understanding the lesson, I now think/realize that each country has its own problems to
handle and that you do not want to be in the EU in certain time periods if time travel were to
come to pass

iii. Before reading the article/understanding the lesson, I thought that being prepared and
organized as a country, success would surely follow behind. However, reading the
article/understanding the lesson, I now think/realize that luck is also necessary towards
reaching that goal

3. Questions (What questions would you want answers for? Or vague areas you want more
explanations about?

i. Why was Europe considered a global Economic Fortress in the first place again?

ii. I just want to hear why the Philippines is doing so poorly from another person’s
perspective.
