Summary :

The text “Gen Z Members Flock to Climate Careers” written by Editorial Team talks about the
awareness increasement of gen Z on environmental issues. According to Rachel Larrivee, “Once you learn
how damaged the world’s ecosystem are, it’s not really something you can unsee.” Apparently, now the young
generation is becoming more aware of the importance of environmental sustainability. This can be seen by the
large number of young people as a students who study in environmental-related college majors. It is also
supported and encouraged by many universities that is now providing more environmental-related college
majors. Many environmental-related interdisciplinary approaches is also now increasingly being carried out by
students at various universities. College campuses across the country are now also finding new ways to help
students integrate cilmate studies across various disciplines. A 2020 USC survey found that now, more
undergraduate students are “very interested” in on-campus sustainability. This is such a progress for

demand and liked. With more promising future jobs related to environmental sustainibilty, it is hoped that
more and more young people will become more aware of the importance of environment sustainabilty. The
future of environmental sustainability will be more assured with the young generation becoming more aware
of their roles and responsibilities towards the environmental issues.

Summary :
According to Lim in “The Future of Responsible Technology : a Prediction”, humanical ethics is now
increasingly emphasized because it is the keys to the success from future technological developments. It is
started by the collaboration between The World Economic Forum and a diverse group of experts that they
agreed on the important goal of providing tools and techniques that leaders can use to operationalize ethics
during the lifecycle of technology by making the case for both human-rights-based and ethics-based
appoaches to the responsible use of technology. They have a few predictions about the future of responsible
tech such as the investment in tech will become more responsible, the technology regulations will be further
developed by paying attention to the ethics and human rights, and the tech ethics will take an important role in
higher education. Reshaping every facet of human life is the beginning step to redesign how these disciplines
of technology ethics will be implied in the higher education for developing the better future of technology.
Furthermore, some companies mandated to promote the responsible use of technology such as the Institute of
Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) that hosting conferences dedicated to technology ethics.
Therefore, Technology regulations has to prioritize humanical ethics to be able to realizing the future of
appropriate technology.
