From the research of both our group and our partner
group, we can see that there are many similarities in the way we manage waste. Both of our schools manage waste well and there are laws in place to make the process more efficient and resourceful. Both of our schools also make this process more effective by spreading awareness among students about not littering but instead depositing waste in the designated bin. We both also agree on the fact that our local waste management technology will take time to reach its peak efficiency and that inspecting the process and looking for ways to improve it is vital.
We can learn from our partner group by prioritizing the
handling of hazardous waste as the chemicals can cause a lot of damage to the environment.
Our partner school can also take the idea of challenging students to be creative with waste produced on a day-to- day basis from us. This will not only reduce waste but also provide a creative outlet for the students.
