EUMIND REFLECTION ESSAY

SHREYA: Eumind was a wonderful learning opportunity for me, and everything worked out well. I feel that
my team did a wonderful job, by uploading everything on the website before the deadline, researching
about how to make our meals greener and bringing about these changes in our lifestyle. I personally
enjoyed the research, as every time I searched something up, I learned something new. I feel that getting an
expert’s opinion on this topic is crucial, and our expert gave a concise explanation on green meals and their
importance. The interaction I had with my intercultural peers was a unique experience I had never had
before. Interacting with them and learning about their cuisine truly made me feel like a “global citizen.” I
hope to get such wonderful opportunities in the future.

AVANTIKA: For me, Eumind has been a great opportunity to get out of my comfort zone. I have learnt a lot
more about editing and green meals as each part of the research has taught me a lot. I thoroughly enjoyed
interacting with the nutritionist, my teammates and my Dutch peers as it made me feel more connected to
people globally. I would’ve liked to complete our tasks in advance a little more, from this I have learnt the
importance of planning. Apart from that it has been an incredible experience which I am grateful for.

KASHVI: Hello, my name is Kashvi. I am from St. Gregorios High School. I would like to thank my teachers for
giving me such an amazing opportunity to be a part of EUMIND. The experience of talking to students
around the globe was so good. In this program, I learnt that we should eat green and we should not eat
foods that have a large carbon footprint.
Lastly, I would like to say that the concept of EUMIND changed my life for the better, from this my
confidence in speaking to others boosted up. I am grateful to have been a part of this program.

VAIDEHI: First of all, EUMIND was really a great experience.

All the research we had to do needed patience but it was still quite fun. We got new information which we
have not yet learned in school.
My teammates and I worked on the project together as a team and distributed the work evenly amongst
ourselves.
The best part of this project was definitely the interview with the expert. She was so nice and we all just
couldn’t stop listening to her amazing answers.
What could have been done efficiently was just the planning to not keep everything for the last minute but
we all managed to get through it in an intelligent way and successfully complete each step of this project.
