Comparison And Reflection

Group 7:-My Green Meal

We learned that Green meals are not being followed by everyone in any of the
countries and we can make our meals nutritious and healthy. Our group carried out
the research and concluded that the most efficient way to spread green meals at
home and at school was to make wise choices in terms of encouraging students ,
teachers and parents to eat green meals. Starting from something small like
exchanging the meat in burgers with green vegetables is very useful is making our
world green.

Schools can begin educating students on why eating green meals is so important, go
street plays and many more initiative social ideas.

We could not have a lot of communication as mentioned in Part 3 but from the
conversation we had with our counterpart we can comprehend that both of us
consider green eating very essential.

 Both the countries believed that beginning by homes is a first step to progress
hence, all the members implemented green food into their daily meals as
shown in part 2.

 People in Netherlands as well as India encourage society to eat green meal

against regular meat based meal. A green meal day was also introduced in
both the schools.

 India being densely populated, it is difficult to communicate the motto of eating

green .so sources like posters, social media and ads are conducted. However,
In Netherlands communities, local schools can encourage people easily by
organizing drives, newspaper ads as it is less populated
 There were cultural and language differences. Hence, ways of communication
differed a bit.

We do see a lot of differences in the thinking of our counterpart and ours. They
believed that vegan eating is essential but it has many disadvantages of its
own, which is right. We felt that by green eating you are not telling a person to
become vegetarian but you are advising them to prefer green eating over
eating meat based products.

The research and communication could have gone better as all members were
cooperative from both sides but we received the WhatsApp numbers a bit late.
Leaving that aside, from their Weebly page, we can make out that they mostly
conducted the research over students, asking them if vegan eating was good
or not. A more structured research could have been possible. We had only one
conference but in that conference we conveyed a lot of information to each
other as both sides were very cooperative and we got a lot of time to ask each
other questions. Although, our counterpart wasn’t acquainted to the video
conference platform they managed to use it and we were contended to meet
them.

We would have liked to discuss the problems encountered with our

counterpart to elaborate our experiences better and to give them an overview
of research. Though the other leader agreed with sharing their second part of
research with me, I never received it.- Aarav Mishra

I would have conducted more conferences to elaborate our communication

and understand our counterpart’s opinions.- Shiven Jariwala

I would have wanted our counterpart to cooperate with us more over

WhatsApp as there was practically no conversation in the group but more
between the leaders. – Rohan Nambiar
I would have created google forms to know more about our counterpart’s
aspect and research.- Vedant Kamothi

It was a great experience getting together with our

Dutch counterpart but it would have been better if we communicated more. –
