“Toothpaste”

It’s a regular morning of Saturday for Izzie and Meredith, both medical students at Far Eastern
University. They were lying in their boarding house chitchatting about school kinds of stuff, and
then they’ve reached the conversation about their social life. They realized that their life revolves
around school and back to their house only, so Izzie had an idea to go clubbing.

Izzie: Why don’t we try to go to a club and drink? It is Saturday today. Didn’t Olivia say that it
is the best day to go clubbing?

Meredith: I don’t know.

Izzie: Oh, come on! Let’s unwind and be drunk, Mer.

Meredith: Okay! As long as we will go home at midnight.

The decision has been made, and they are going to party at a club in BGC. Izzie and Meredith
picked their party outfits and did their hair and make-up simultaneously. At exactly 6:00 pm, the
grab driver they’ve booked came and dropped them off at the club by 7:00 pm.

Izzie and Meredith entered the club and sought their table. When they finally found a vacant
table, they occupied it and ordered tequilas and vodka. After at least ten shots each, they’ve
begun to feel tipsy.

Izzie: Come on, Mer, Let’s dance! It’s our favorite song.

Meredith: Let’s do this!

They started dancing on the dance floor. Little did they know that two men had been checking
them out since the minute they entered the club.

Meredith and Izzie are having fun dancing alone, not until the two men start dancing with them.
They were grinding and swaying their hips along with the music’s beat. The four decided to stop
dancing after three songs; the boys came with them to their table. Izzie started the conversation
by asking the men’s name.

Izzie: So what’s your name, guys?

Alex: I am Alexander, but you can call me Alex for short.

George: I am George. Hello, Beautiful ladies.

Meredith squished Izzie’s hand under the table. They looked at each other and winced and trying
hard to hold their smiles. As a courtesy, Izzie answered them.
Izzie: Okay! I am Izzie, and this is Meredith.

Meredith: Can you excuse us for a minute? We need to go to the comfort room real quick.
Thanks for understanding!

Meredith and Izzie are fighting themselves to burst on laughing about it. They rush to the
comfort room and then blast the laughs that make them hurt their jaws and put them into tears.

Meredith: Did you see that, Iz? Oh my gosh! I can’t stop laughing.

Izzie: Oh God! Mer, I can’t believe what I saw.

They continued laughing about it for at least five minutes. When they’ve got the hold of
themselves, they’ve decided to make a plan on how they would blow them off.

Meredith: We can go straight to the exit of this bar and wish that they won’t see us.

Izzie: How about our bill? We are not yet paid for everything that we drink. We can be accused
of being a scammer; the worst scenario is that they will ban us here at BGC.

Meredith: They are sitting at our table, they can pay for our bill. They look like they have a ton
of money.

Izzie: Oohhh, that’s an excellent idea. You’re a brilliant Meredith.

Back at the table, Alex and George are curious why the girls are taking a long time. They think
something terrible happened to them since they said they wouldn’t take a while. So they’ve
rushed themselves to check on them at the same time Meredith and Izzie decided to take off from
the comfort room. They’ve bumped with each other in the hallway of the comfort room.

Alex: What happened to the both of you? Is there a problem?

George: Is there someone harassing you?

Meredith and Izzie were shocked by what happened—looking at each other smiling awkwardly
at the boys in front.

Meredith: What are the odds? (WHISPERING)

Izzie: What should we say? (WHISPERING)

George: Girls?

Meredith: Nothing, bye! Nice to meet you, and we are hoping not to see you again!

Izzie: Hey, Waiter? Would you mind leaving the bill to those two men? Thanks, sweetie. Bye!
(WHILE RUNNING)
They are waving at the two boys, who were left dumbfounded. Meredith and Izzie ran out of the
bar while laughing out loud. They stopped a taxi outside the club and went home.

They’ve reached home feeling very exhausted by the experience they’ve had for the first time
being in a club. They’ve decided to take a shower first, and then they will prepare to sleep after.

Meredith: Izzie, we will never going to do that again, okay? Promise me.

Izzie: I can’t. (Laughing)

Meredith: Why is that? What happened earlier in the very worst first-timer’s experience.

Izzie: Mer, come on! What are the odds of meeting another set of guys like that?

Izzie: Those toothpaste models were a hilarious thing that happened for us so far. (Giggling)

Meredith: Toothpaste models?

Izzie: Duh, Alex and George. The guy’s that we left dumbfounded earlier.

Meredith laughed out loud when she got the joke that Izzie spit off.

Meredith: Oh, right! Yes! They were toothpaste models. (Laughing)

Izzie: Well, I thought that we hit the jackpot earlier. They were both look handsome. It’s just that
why do their teeth look like that?

Meredith: Right? Oh, especially that George has the most disgusting smell that lingers around
his mouth whenever he opens it. My god!

Meredith: But yeah! I agree that they both look handsome and rich.

They won’t forget that experience of meeting two handsome guys in a bar with a pretty awful
smell and bright yellow teeth. They’ve decided to sleep the exhaustion of running away from
them.

The end.
