DLG Insurance has two different regions for developing and Managed testing. BAU SHARED
SERVICES is responsible for test batch execution in managed testing (M-plex) Environment and
Configuration activities in Development (Q-plex Environment. Configuration team deals with creating
Endeavour packages for production migrations (Fix on fail and minor issues) and M-plex Migrations
where the code first developed in Q-plex part of enhancement and then moved to M-plex for testing
purposes (system test). Batch execution team deals with running of over nightly Insurance batches
and logging over nightly issues in Test Director (Defect management tool) and Provides resolutions of
those failure jobs in M-plex.

Description: RBS Insurance is one of the major insurance companies in UK, currently it is DirectLine.
Their products and services include Home Insurance, Motorcycle Insurance, and pet Insurance. In
RBS Insurance our configuration team, Configuration management team involved in manage and
configure various version control tools, define releases and projects for the RBS Insurance division.
Code is migrated to various regions be it production or model as per requirements given through an
automated tool, PVCS tracker used to communicate between the development teams and operations.
New code added to various regions is monitored by this team on a daily basis. Development teams
are notified about retrofit clashes so as to prevent any serious modification changes. It is also
responsible for guiding and educating various users regarding procedures/forms to be followed for the
many requests generated every now and then.

Description: This PGP broadly addresses the HTSE project and specifically addresses individual

related to the overall HTSE Project, this PGP has been written to address the overall HSBC HTSE
