PROJECT TSEKE

Project: Increasing the Achievement Rate of STNHS Learners Through the


PROJECT TSEKE(Teachers Sharing Employability Skills and Knowledge for
Enhancement)

Position : Head Teacher III

Rationale:
Education has to prepare learners adequately for the future and the society is
obliged to provide the needed tools and means to make this possible. The common
assumption is that learners go to school to Learn and Teachers go to school to Teach.
Teachers are by far the biggest resource in schoolThat is true. However, successful
learning and teaching results in ACHIEVEMENT.
Academic achievement determines the learners status in the class. It gives
students an opportunity to develop their talents and skills but despite of the
consequences of the pandemic ,The role of the educators is challenging in many ways
more difficult that when learning acquired in only one individual.
In view of the “No Face to Face” in the new normal education set up teachers
should be at least good in technology. LAC Session about Technological Skills and
helping seasoned teachers by computer experts teachers is needed during this
pandemic, for these teachers to feel that they are technologically effective teachers to
their students. This is because Sta.Teresita National High School is adopting the
blended learning.
Adopting different applications in making video lessons,using PODCAST,Radio-
Based Instructions(RBI) and Online Learning for enhancements are indeed difficult for
teachers,considering tasks in school for them to satisfy the needs of learners.
Specially online learning has played a part in delivering the lessons to learners at
home during the pandemic and even some parents/guardians have opted for it has
schools went back in person learning.However we need to be cautious that we don’t
see individual anecdotal experiences as evidence that remote learning will work for any
student who choose it.
Teachers,students ,parents and the government must come together to work to
increase the achievement rate. We must take note of Henry Fords;quote on
TEAMWORK,that Coming together is a beginning.Keeping together is
progress,Working together is success”This is why it is important to create strong
support systems for students both home and at school to increase learning.
Objectives:
Generally, the project aims to increase the achievement rate of STNHS
Learners.
A. Improve teaching learning effectiveness.
B. Get High Quality of learning instructions
C. Help form strong connections with colleagues.

Budget: Php 2,000.00

Accomplishments :
The PROJECT TSEKE(Teachers Sharing Employability Skills and Knowledge
for Enhancement ) is one of the among innovations to address the needs of
Sta.Teresita National High School in increasing the achievement rate.The project had a
very positive impact specially on the part of the academic performance of the students
and the school as well.Parents/Guardians feedback is applaudable.
Computer Teachers are encouraged to use their powers to prescribe specific
training programmes for colleagues and the range of training resources are expanded
so that teachers receive the support they need to enhance.
