PMGDISHA is the scheme to make six crore persons in
rural areas, across States/UTs, digitally literate.

It also reaches to around 40% of rural households by

covering one member from every eligible household by
31st March, 2022.

The Scheme would empower the citizens in rural areas

by training them to operate computer or digital access
devices (like tablets, smart phones etc).
IMPLEMENTATION PLAN
The Scheme is applicable only to rural areas of the country.

Eligible person to be enrolled in the nearest PMGDISHA training

Centre using their Aadhaar (UIDAI) number.

Unique Username and Password is provided to the beneficiary.

Learners to study the self-learning e-modules through the LMS

(Learning management system).

Continuous assessment at the end of each module.

Attendance on a daily basis using the Aadhaar number.

On fulfilling the minimum number of learning hours and
successful completion of the assessment, the learners will be
eligible to appear for Real-time examination process in
collaboration with nationally recognized Certifying Agencies

Certificates will be issued to successful candidates.

Eligibility Criteria
Nomination: Nominated digitally illiterate person from every eligible
rural household.

Age: 14 to 60 years

Course Duration: 20 Hours (Minimum 10 Days and Maximum 30 Days)

Medium of Instruction: Official Languages of India

Procedure to Apply Online
for PMGDISHA

Step 1- Visit the Official Website of PMGDISHA

i.e. www.pmgdisha.in.

Step 2- On the Homepage, you will see the option of

Direct Candidate and Click on the Option.
Now, you have to click on the option of Register
Step 3- The PMGDISHA Exams Registration Form page will be
displayed on the screen.

Step 4- click on the check mark.

Step 5- e-KYC which can be done either by scanning
the fingerprint or scanning the eyes or by verifying
the OTP in the mobile phone.
Step 6- entering the correct OTP, you have to
click on ‘Validate OTP’. (This step is only for
those who opt for 3rd option)

Step 7- Once the registration is done, students

can open their new account by generating user
id and password in it.
 Procedure to Login PMGDISHA
Scheme Portal Let us see the
students’ login procedure on the
official portal, as shown ahead.
Step 1- the applicants should go back to the Home
Page for login.

Step 2- Click on the Direct Candidate tab at the top

of the page.
Step 3- It then lands the student on the Login Page Below.

Step 4- Enter the Email ID, Password and click on the Login Button.

Step 5- It then takes

the online applicant
to the user
dashboard, where
he/she can make
the other necessary
changes.
