1. How do you define communication in your own simple terms?

 Communication it is the process of sending or receiving and sharing ideas, thoughts, feelings,
and information from one person to another.

2. Looking back to your Oral Communication class in the SHS, what are some of the elements
of communication? Write at least five (5) and give a brief description for each.
 1. Sender- The source or the person who send the message or information to other people.
2. Message- It is a statement, ideas, or information that conveyed from one person to another.
3. Communication Channel- The channel or medium used to communicate or send a message
through text message, phone calls, emails, video, radio, media and etc.
4. Receiver- It refers to the person who receive the message or the information from the
sender.
5. Feedback- It define as a reply or your comment about the information or a message that
you receive.

1. Explain the statement, “For communication to be effective, it should be a two-way process”.

 Yes, because the communication is a two-way process in the message, ideas, thoughts, opinion and
information is transmitted between two or more people with the intent of creating, sharing and
understanding each other in order for the communication to be effective.

2. Describe clearly the process of communication.

 The process of communication refers to the various actions or steps taken in order for effective
communication. It involves several components such as the sender of the communication. The sender
encodes the message towards the receiver and the receiver decodes it and he/she will give feedback
about the message or the information being sent. There are also various channels of communication
to consider within the process of communication. This refers to the way of a message being sent. It
can be through various medium such as text message, emails, video, audio, fax or body language and
etc. The communication process also takes place because there are some places that can affect or
distract the transmission of communication.

 I have little difficulties of understanding the flow of communication from different
types of model.
 What are some of the most interesting learnings and discoveries that you have gathered
while studying the lessons in this module?
 The most interesting learning and discoveries that I gathered while studying this
lesson in this module, is in simple things we do, like gossiping towards our neighbors,
talking to our friends, and chatting our friends and relatives online it already shows
the example of communication.
