O casket semimetalic

Spiral wound gasket is the ideal gasket in the semimetallic category.

A norrow strip of V-shape metal hoop is spirally wound under tension with a filler
cushion between the lamination of the rnetal and is spotwelded at both ends.
This unique constructron of a spring-like metal and soft filler provides gasket
excellent characteristics.
Resistance to high temperatures and high pressures
Great recilience wich allows the gasket to adjust automatically to changes in
operating conditions, such and pressure and thermal shocks, vibratlons, etc.,
Excellent sealabil,ty is maintained with comparatjvely small gasket area.
Good tolerance for flange surface finish irregularities.
Can be designed to any dimensions economically in circular or moderate y non-circular shape
in a variety of hoop metals and filler materials to satisfy specific operating condittons
