1. In our current landscape in the Philippines, which of the aforementioned conditions
(flood, typhoon, fire, tsunami or earthquake) do you think an evacuation plan is
extremely necessary? How does it differ from other disasters?

 I think typhoon is the evacuation plan that I extremely necessary because


Philippines is prone to typhoons. And many people keep dying because of this
calamity disaster. It was different from the other calamity disaster because in a
year, there are estimated 20 typhoons that enter inside the country.

2. How vulnerable is your home to a natural disaster? What types of hazards are
inherent in your barangay or municipality?

 Thanks to our house, we are not vulnerable to natural disaster and we are
always safe from danger because of the strong build of structures of our house.
However, our community is vulnerable to flashfloods and also earthquake
because our area is in arc of fault (the big one) that can cause anytime a
disaster. The hazards that was inherent to our barangay is the typhoon because
it is the kind of disaster that was usually occur in our community.

3. As an NSTP student, what do you think are your roles and responsibilities during a
disaster? How can you make an impact in your home and community during this Covid
pandemic?

 As a NSTP student, I think the knowledge that I have regarding these calamities
can be a big help for the safety of my family. It is also my responsibility to inform
them since I have a knowledge about it and can advice them the things that they
should in times of disaster.
 Being a kind of person who always use social media, I think I can give a big
impact to my family by sharing my legitimate ideas that I see on the internet and
tell them the do’s and don’t.
