Self-esteem can be defined as our general view of ourself, as well as how you feel
about our strengths and limitations, is referred to as self-esteem. When we have a healthy
sense of self-esteem, we feel good about ourself and believe that we are worthy of others'
regard. When we have poor self-esteem, we don't appreciate our own thoughts and opinions.
There is a link between adolescent self-esteem and the dangers and protective factors
that affect their health and well-being. The goal of the study was to find out how often poor
factors that are linked to anxiety, depression, educational stress, and suicidal ideation.
A cross-sectional study methodology was utilised to recruit 1,260 students from three
secondary schools in Camtho City, Vietnam, in both urban and suburban settings. All
potential reporting bias and to keep information confidential, this was done after class or at
home anonymously. The Centre for Epidemiology Studies Depression (CES-D), the anxiety
scale, and the Educational Stress Scale for Adolescents were used in this study, and a more

Adolescents with low self-esteem were found to be 19.4% of the time. Attending
supplemental classes was a protective factor for low self-esteem, but high educational stress
and physical and emotional abuse by parents or other adults in the household were substantial

In conclusion, anxiety, sadness, and academic stress are all linked to low self-esteem,
which has a negative impact on students' quality of life and is linked to suicidal ideation. As a
enhancing students' self-esteem and skills for dealing with academic stress may be necessary.
