POSSESSIVE (‘s)
We use (‘s) to indicate possession. Utilizamos (‘s) para indicar posesión.
Other situations:
A. Put (‘), if something belongs to two or more people. Do not write ‘s.
(Colocar (‘) para indicar que algo pertenece a dos o más personas.)
• Her cousins’ flat is nice. • Her cousins’ s flat is nice.

B. Put (‘s) if the plural noun is irregular. (Colocar (‘s) a nombres plurales irregulares.)
• The men’s restroom is clean. • The men’s restroom is clean.

C. Add (‘s) to the second name when you have two names.
(Cuando se mencionan dos personas solo la segunda lleva (‘s).)

D. Do not use (‘s) after things. (No usar el (‘s) después de cosas.)

Adjectives describe people, things, Los adjetivos describen personas, cosas,


events, etc. They don’t change in plural. sucesos, etc. No se pluralizan.

Uses of adjetives
A. Before the noun: He has tasty cookies. She has a beautiful hat. Those are black
