The objective of this research project is to provide the professional an opportunity to identify and
work on a research problem in their area of interest within an organization. Professional should
use this as a platform to understand the issues / problems faced by the business and provide
feasible solutions to such problems by evaluating the alternatives. Research should be carried out
within an organization.
This project, under the guidance of a faculty of the institution, has to be a on a live management
problem/issue concerning either an organization or otherwise. The purpose of the project is to
develop larger life skills and positive attitude among students who have to gain wider perspective
on society/organization.
During the research period, the student will be under the supervision of a faculty identified by
the institute. The research mentor will provide guidelines on how the student should execute the
research. The student will be required to report to the faculty guide immediately on allocation.
The research topic and plan of execution should be finalized before the end of the present term.
The mode and frequency of communication during the research period should be decided in
consultation with the mentor.
The program in charge will consult the research guide from time to time for obtaining
information on the progress of the research work of the student.
The Font style should be “TIMES NEW ROMAN” with font size is “14” for “headings”
and “12” for “text” and to be in 1.5-line spacing.
The number of pages in the report should range between 60 and 80.
Students should submit two copies of project report and should retain the original copy
for “Viva Voce” after getting signatures from their respective guide and program
coordinator.
Following are the general contents in a project report. It is advised to strictly follow the
following general contents

Part B: About Subject: Definition of the terms used, importance and other aspects of the
subject.

study 5) Scope of the study 6) Hypotheses 7) Sampling 8) Methodology 9) Tools for Data
Collection 10) Data Analysis 11) Limitations of Study
1) Title of project 2) Data table (in figures) 3) Analysis & Inference to the table 5)
Graphical representation
The findings should be summarised and presented in a paragraph from, numbering each of
the finding. Find specific recommendation to each of the objective of the study. These
recommendations should be more specific and acceptable in nature. Recommendations also
should be numbered.
The conclusion of the project should be given so as to justify the objectives of the study.
The personal learning experience to be mentioned in one or two small paragraphs
The copy of the questionnaire and all other useful material collected from the organization
may be annexed. In case of finance, the copies of financial statements and other related
statements should be annexed.
