USES /
APPLICATIONS
A good example of an Infrared ray are
the Thermal-imaging cameras that can
generally detect a high body
temperature accurately when used
appopriately where are commonly found
at airports and is very useful especially
that a fever or higher body temperature
is only one possible symptom of a COVID-
19
EFFECTS TO
HUMANS AND TO
THE ENVIRONMENT
The effects of infrared rays are harmful to the
environment, because it increases the
temperature of the weather and when a
person is exposed to it for too much it can
damage your eyes and skin. Medical studies
indicate that prolonged IR exposure can lead
to lens, cornea and retina damage, including
cataracts, corneal ulcers and retinal burns,
respectively.
