Q. Design a circuit in Tinkercad using a 1kohm Resistor, 1 Diode,
Voltage source, breadboard and wires. Connect the voltmeter and
ammeter correctly with the diode to measure voltage and current
through it.

 While designing the circuit, we first put a resistor of 1kohm and

the diode on the breadboard. Then we connect the voltage source to
complete the circuit.
 Now, to measure the voltage, we connect the voltmeter in
Parallel combination with the diode and to measure the current, we
connect the ammeter in Series combination with the diode.

When the diode is connected forward biased, it allows the flow

of current through it and the current is measured by ammeter.
When the diode is connected reverse biased, it does not allow
the flow of current through the it as we can see ammeter
measures no current.(Zero Ampere)
