INTRODUCTION

 A battery saver system management is an application that allows the user to

know about the battery usage for the applications on their android phones.
 Currently many application installed in smartphone use technologies that
consume battery power quickly, those applications use technology such as GPS
is considered as power drain. A list of applications and services that might
consume power such as auto-synch application.
OBJECTIVE:

 Android system provides an interface where user can see where battery power
goes ,this interface is located in battery use within about phone panel of
Android system.
 As an option to extend battery life, Android offers a battery saver mode that
when activated, turns off the power-hungry and faster processor cores and
turns on the battery conserving and slower processor cores on the device.
WHAT IS ANDROID ??

 Android is a software platform and operating system for mobile devices based
on the Linux operating system and developed by Google and the open handset
alliance.
 CODING: is like a Java language used presently
 Announcement:5th November 2007
 Release in 2008
EXISTING SYSTEM

 Each hardware element has various states and on that states battery consumption is
dependent. The state of the art is presented in three parts as follows:-
1. Power consumption of connectivity features
2. Context aware power management
3. Power model generation
PROPOSED SYSTEM

 Battery saver aims at saving battery of smart Android phones by controlling its
applications and services.
 Creating logs of battery usage pattern for users to learn and analyze their usage and
do settings accordingly.
 Provide warnings to users with different colors like red for very low battery,
displaying battery status to the user and low, heavy or general usage remaining time
period so that user can view and have information about his activities and its effect
on the cell of Android powered devices.
WORKING IN MODULES

 Modes of action :
The ‘Battery Saver’ is designed in three modules. Each modules provides
simple and efficient interface for the user to deal with the battery usage.
These three modules are as follows:
1. Static Mode
2. Battery Indicator
3. Task Manager
CIRCUIT DIAGRAM
FEATURES

 The features that can be included in the android battery saver system application
are as follows :
1. Application list
2. Consumption rate
3. User friendly
4. More power
5. Easy access
BLOCK DIAGRAM
ADVANTAGES

 The user gets a list of application usage in a single place.

 The system notifies the user if the battery is low and indicates which app is
using more power.
 The consumption rate is accurate.
 Also indicates which app consumes more power.
DISADVANTAGES

 This system doesn’t use any backend.

 The system provides with less information then the phones build in app.
CONCLUSION

 Battery saver effectively provides complete details for a user to know his every
action and corresponding effect on battery and some database to analyze his
usage pattern and set his own warnings and usage patterns and still have
battery .
 Battery Saver is a project that is of great importance in current scenario of
growing android market and innumerable applications which offers a great
deal of human applications but at a cost of lower battery life.
