INTRODUCTION

 MORAL INITIATIVE & MORAL AWARENESS

Moral Initiative of Nigeria (MIN) is in brief, a social movement aimed at

eradicating the challenges that have pervaded every sphere of the Nigerian
nation and is poised to advance the frontiers of a new culture that restores our
moral and ethical values. MIN works extensively in harmonizing and uniting
Nigerians most especially the youths and children. Through our programs, we
help in reducing/curbing the menace of immoral acts with different strategies
as well as supporting the less privileged, orienting them towards future
securing programs, we also organize programs to unite Nigerians. The target of
Moral Initiative includes; a united Nigeria where sentiment, ethno-religious
bias, with all forms of discrimination and immoral acts is expunged, a Nigeria
where unity, peace, love and harmony is the order of the day.

PREAMBLE
Moral is considered here to be the most important element of ethical decision
making. Morality reflects the standard of rights and wrongs of a person or
group or also conforming to standards of behaviors and character based on
those principles while Ethics can be considered to be the principles of right
and wrongs that are accepted by an individual or a social group.
Moral awareness is here considered to be the key or most important and
logical element of restoring back our lost moral and ethical values in the
society. It is a tactical program that comes with moral sense which is a
motivation deriving logically from ethical or moral principles that govern a
person’s thoughts and actions

AIMS AND OBJECTIVES OF THE AWARENESS

 To establish the forms and acts of tolerance between one another
irrespective of religion or ethnic background
 To educate the public on the diversification of youths towards nation
building
 To sensitize the youth and the general public on their roles to the
economic and social development in the country
 To restore back the stolen morals in the societies
 To establish the possible act and roles of general public in the peace
keeping and restoration of order in the country.
 To educate the youths on right decision-making in the state of good or
bad and immoral acts seen to be customary
 To sensitize the society against corruption, miscreant, drug abuse, child
abuse, rape and every forms of immoral acts
 To bring an end the regeneration of corrupt deeds and establish
conducive environment for national development
 To serve as motivational platform for the youth and reasoning for the
right mentorship in the society
 To refurbish our pass glory as a free corrupt nation in the world
At the end of this moral crusade/awareness, we strongly believe that it will
have good effect on the societies and the general public especially the youths
by awaking their sub conscious mind to strife hard co-existence and high level
of morality and tolerance to sustain economic, social and political stability in
the country.
