THE RESURRECTION OF THE DEAD

& THE EVERLASTING LIFE.

i

ABSTRACT

The term Resurrection is used to support the belief that the dead will be brought back
to life in connection with end times. Various other forms of this concept can also be
found in other eschatologies, namely: Christianity, Islamic, Jewish and Zoroastrian
eschatology.

Early Christian church fathers defended the Resurrection of the dead against the pagan
belief that the immortal soul went to the underworld immediately after
death. Currently, however, it is a popular Christian belief that the souls of the
righteous go to Heaven.

Has there come to you the narration of the overwhelming (i.e. the Day of
Resurrection); Some faces, that Day, will be humiliated. Labouring, weary (in the
Hereafter with humility and disgrace). They will enter in the hot blazing Fire, They
will be given to drink from a boiling spring, No food will there be for them but a
poisonous thorny plant, Which will neither nourish nor avail against hunger.
(Other) faces, that Day, will be joyful, Glad with their endeavour. In a lofty Paradise.
Where they shall neither hear harmful speech nor falsehood, Therein will be a running
spring, Therein will be thrones raised high, And cups set at hand. And cushions set in
rows, And rich carpets (all) spread out.

PREFACE.
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful. The LORD of
Christians and Muslims the LORD of the universe. The ONE Who sent messengers
with revelations that discussed days in the Hereafter (days after the end of the worlds).

Salat and Salam be upon the last messenger of God and his families, Salam be upon
Jesus of Nazareth and his generations (messengers that came with divine guidance
before him).

The continuation of the book “The life of Soul after death and the end of the worlds”
that I promised to write, is by Allah’s will, written. I decided to share the lessons, that
should be observed in this book (as revealed in the Holy Quran and the scriptures –
Holy Bibles), with you because the time is at hand.
Different translations of the Holy Quran and the Holy Bible –Old and new Testaments
were used in this book and interestingly hyperlinks will refer you directly to the
translations used (especially for the holy Bible) if followed (Internet connection is
required!).
To the best of my ability and understanding, I discussed the TRUE happenings that
shall come and pass in the Hereafter. And strongly if you exercised caution, you will
not be among losers in the Hereafter.
In case you may find that I quoted Bible (or Quran) wrongly, think twice and check
other translations hence contact me (explaining the mistake(s) with prove). I have
added few “red words in brackets” in some verses, for you to understand them better,
if you consider them not appropriate, ignore them! Thank you and God bless you.

CHAPTER ONE
1.0 INTRODUCTION:
The term Resurrection is used to support the belief that the dead will be brought back
to life in connection with end times (hereafter). Christianity, Islam and the Jewish
religions believed in the hereafter and the events that must come and pass in the days
of the hereafter as explained in their revelations.
The days in the hereafter, as revealed in the Holy Bible (both testaments) and the Holy
Quran are the same, having the same characteristics. Additionally, Islam (Quran and
Hadith) named (and explained) other days (and events) that were not explained fully
by other scriptures. The common (and most popular) days explained by both Islam and
Christianity are the Hour, the Day of Resurrection, the Day of Reckoning and the Day
of everlasting life.
In this book, I will explain the activities that shall be observed (one by one) in the days
of the Hereafter as mutually explained by Islam and Christianity or additionally
explained by Islam. The days that shall come once in the Hereafter are graphically
listed in fig 1.0

Fig 1.0 Days in the Hereafter.

Engr. Baba @bamagaj

2

As seen in the diagram, the beginning of Hour is the end of the world! Quran says:
They ask you, [O Muhammad], about the Hour: when is its arrival? (79:42).

Similarly, in the Bible, the end of the world is referred to as Hour:

The end of the world is coming soon. Therefore, be earnest and disciplined in your

prayers. (1 Peter 4:7) Children, it is the last hour. And as you have heard that

antichrist is coming, even now many antichrists have come. By this we know that
it is the last hour. (1 John 2:18)

Hour comprises of the end of the world, the Day of Resurrection, the Day of
summoning, Encompassing Day and the 3-Days of Reckoning (Separation, Testifying
and weighing) as seen in fig 1.0. Bible also explained the activities that shall be
observed in these days even though they are not categorised.
Yaumul Qiyama (The day of Standing) is to be started from the resurrection of the
dead up to the end of the Day of Recompense. People shall stand throughout the days
of Yaumul Qiyama, that’s why the days are combined and called “Yaumul Qiyama”.

1. The Day of Resurrection is the first day that the people from the first generation
to the last shall be restored to life.
2. The Day of Summoning (Yaumut Tanad)- is the day in which people will turn
their backs fleeing (see Quran 40:32)
3. Encompassing Day (Mentioned in Quran11:84)
4. Day of Separation (sorting out) (44:40)
5. The Day of Testifying is the day in which witnesses will stand (to give their
testimony)- (see Quran 40:51)
6. The Day of Weighing is the day in which people deeds shall be calculated.
judgement on that day is definite (Quran 7:8)

Engr. Baba @bamagaj

3

7. The Day of gathering is the day of loss and gain; (Taghabun) (i.e. loss for those
that will enter the Hell-fire and gain for those that will enter the Paradise).
8. The Day of approaching horror is the day by which they will see the Hellfire for
the first time. (Yaumul Azifah 40:18)

The days of gathering and that of approaching horror make the Day of Recompense
(Yaumud Deen (the Doom) 1:4)

The last day in the Hereafter is the Day of Everlasting Life. This day shall never end
(it is abiding) and shall never be repeating itself.

In chapter two, I explained the consequences of the Day of Resurrection. In addition to

the sound of the trumpet that shall be blown, the chapter further explained the
characteristics (peoples’ situations) of the Day of Summoning –the immediate
frightening and behaviors of the rising dead.
Chapter Three explained the characteristics of the following Hour days. The Day of
Reckoning –Judgement, is explained fully in Chapter Four.
Chapter Five is the Day of Recompense! The meaning, final decision, and movement
of disbelievers to the station along Hell’s path is explained.
Most of the explanations of the Hellfire (descriptions) and its dwellers are written in
Chapter Six while the punishments in the hell (torments, feeding and dressings) is
discussed in Chapter Seven.
Chapter eight is about the everlasting Paradise (Gardens) and its dwellers. The social
activities and interactions, descriptions of various Gardens, feedings and dressings etc.
concerning the successive believers in the paradise is shortly discussed.

Introduction to the Day of Everlasting life (abiding life) is briefly written in the last
chapter. Residents of Hellfire are visited thus their arguments and prayers is
publicised. The concept of Intercession and the end of death (that takes souls) are
finally discussed in this book.

CHAPTER TWO

THE RESURRECTION OF THE DEAD:

Life of the soul after the end of the world will begin when the trumpet is sounded for
the second time, even thou souls will remain dead for years after the first trumpet
blowing. Life of the soul after the second trumpet blowing is considered the second
life- indeed, the resurrection of the dead.
The second blowing of trumpet is more frightening than the trumpet blowing at the
end of the world:

Indeed, it will be but one shout, When, behold, they find themselves over the
earth alive. (Qur'an: 79:13-14)

It will happen in an instant, in a split second at the sound of the last trumpet.
Indeed, that trumpet will sound, and then the dead will come back to life. They will
be changed so that they can live forever. ( 1 Corinthians 15:52)

The Prophet (P.B.U.H) will first come out from his grave1, and then the rest of us will
be coming out from every grave at that striking Hour.

What is the striking (Hour)? And what will make you know what the striking (Hour)
is? It is a Day whereon mankind will be like moths scattered about. (Quran Ch. 101)

So you see, just as death came into the world through a man, now the resurrection
from the dead has begun through another man. (1 Corinthians 15:21)

So leave them, The Day the Caller calls to something most terrible, Their eyes
humbled, they will emerge from the graves as if they were locusts spreading,
Racing ahead toward the Caller. The disbelievers will say, "This is a difficult
Day." (Quran: 56:6-8)
1
. See The Hadith in Sunan Darimi.

Engr. Baba @bamagaj

5

On the Day the earth breaks away from them [and they emerge] rapidly; that is a
gathering easy for Us. (50:44)

And when the earth is stretched forth, And has cast out all that was in it and
became empty, And listens and obeys its Lord, and it must do so;
O man! Verily, you are returning towards your Lord with your deeds and actions
(good or bad), a sure returning, so you will meet (i.e. the results of your deeds
which you did). (Quran: 84:3-6)

Warnings:
Only those who hear will respond. But the dead - Allah will resurrect them; then to
Him they will be returned. (6:36) O you who have believed, fear Allah and be with
those who are true. (9:119)

It is the same way with the resurrection of the dead. Our earthly bodies are planted
in the ground when we die, but they will be raised to live forever. (1 Cor 15:42)

Jabir (May Allah be pleased with him) said: The Prophet (Peace be upon him) said,
"Everyone will be raised in the condition in which he dies"
[Riyad Us Saliheen Book 1 Hadith 116].

Therefore, if we emerge from our graves, you will see people acting differently before
they run to the place of their gathering. “Everyone shall be raised in the condition in
which he dies"

2.1 RISING FROM THE DEAD:

The Prophet (Peace be upon him) said, "Everyone will be raised in the condition in
which he dies" indeed the behaviour of everyone rising from the dead resembles the
condition in which he dies.

Engr. Baba @bamagaj

6

2.1.1 The behaviour of believers, rising from the dead:

Believers that strictly adhere to the rules and regulations of Allah (SWA) and die by
following His law will not be grieved by the greatest terror of that hour. Angels with
mutual greetings will welcome them.

They will not be grieved by the greatest terror, and the angels will meet them,
[saying], "This is your Day which you have been promised" – (21:103)

Allah (SWA) said the truth! When taking the soul of Muslim believers, the angels
said: “We were your allies in worldly life and [are so] in the Hereafter”. At this hour,
they will meet them, saying: "This is your Day which you have been promised".

Therefore:
Whoever comes [at Judgement] with a good deed will have better than it, and they,
from the terror of that Day, will be safe. And whoever comes with an evil deed - their
faces will be overturned into the Fire, shall you be rewarded (for) aught except what
you did? (27:89-90)

Pay attention and turn your ear to the sayings of the wise; apply your heart to what
I teach, (Proverbs 22:17)

2.1.2 The behaviour of idolaters, rising from the dead:

Not only idolaters, anyone- Muslim or non-Muslim- associating partner to Allah shall
be taken after questioning.
…Until when Our messengers (the angel of death and his assistants) come to
them to take them in death, they (the angels) will say, "Where are those you used
to invoke besides Allah?" They will say, "They have departed from us," and will
bear witness against themselves that they were disbelievers. (7:37)

Engr. Baba @bamagaj

7

And the Day the Hour appears, (those) criminals will be in despair. No
intercessor will they have from those whom they made equal with Allah (partners
i.e. their so-called associate gods), and they will (themselves) reject and deny their
partners. (30:12-13)

Do not bow down to any idol or worship it, because I am the LORD your God and I
tolerate no rivals. I bring punishment on those who hate me and on their
descendants down to the third and fourth generation. (Exodus 20:5)

If idol worshippers see their allies- that they called them saviour- in distress, they will
just move their head from (looking) them and change direction before they run to the
caller (place of gathering).

Say, [O Muhammad], "Praise be to Allah, and peace upon His servants whom He has
chosen. Is Allah better or what they associate with Him?"
[More precisely], is He [not best] who created the heavens and the earth and sent
down for you rain from the sky, causing to grow thereby gardens of joyful beauty
which you could not [otherwise] have grown the trees thereof? Is there a deity with
Allah? [No], but they are a people who ascribe equals [to Him].
Is He [not best] who made the earth a stable ground and placed within it rivers and
made for it firmly set mountains and placed between the two seas a barrier? Is there a
deity with Allah? [No], but most of them do not know.
Is He [not best] who responds to the desperate one when he calls upon Him and
removes evil and makes you inheritors of the earth? Is there a deity with Allah? Little
do you remember.
Is He [not best] who guides you through the darknesses of the land and sea and who
sends the winds as good tidings before His mercy? Is there a deity with Allah? High is
Allah above whatever they associate with Him.

Engr. Baba @bamagaj

8

Is He [not best] who begins creation and then repeats it and who provides for you from
the heaven and earth? Is there a deity with Allah? Say, "Produce your proof, if you
should be truthful."
Say, "None in the heavens and earth knows the unseen except Allah, and they do not
perceive when they will be resurrected."
Rather, their knowledge is arrested concerning the Hereafter. Rather, they are in doubt
about it. Rather, they are, concerning it, blind. So the disbelievers say, ‘What! When
we and our forefathers have become dust, shall we be brought back to life again? We
have been promised this, we and our forefathers, before. This is not but legends of the
former peoples."
Say, [to them, O Muhammad], "Travel through the land and observe how was the end
of the criminals." (27:59-69)

"No one can be a slave of two masters, since either he will hate one and love the
other, or be devoted to one and despise the other. You cannot be slaves of God and
of money. "This is why I tell you: Don't worry about your life, what you will eat or
what you will drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Isn't life more than
food and the body more than clothing? (Matthew 6:24)
Repent therefore and be converted, for the blotting out of your sins, so that times
of refreshing may come from [the] presence of the Lord, (Acts 3:19)

2.1.3 The behaviour of those wronging themselves, rising from the dead:
Whoever transgresses the limits of Allah has certainly wronged himself. 2 All those
that commit all kind of crimes, Muslims and non-Muslims, are doing wrong to
themselves (they are condemning themselves).
Most of them guilty Muslims, they will come out from their graves with their eyes
infected with glaucoma. They will shift to one side, meeting; trying to confirm the

9

days they wasted in the world. Finally, one of their groups (member) will swear that
they stayed only an hour.

The Day when the Trumpet will be blown (the second blowing): that Day, We
shall gather the Mujrimun (criminals etc.) Zurqa: (blue or blind eyed with black
faces). They will murmur among themselves, "You remained not but ten [days in
the world]." We know best what they say- but the more perceptive of them will
say, ‘Your stay [on earth] was only a single day.’ (20:102-104)

And on the Day that the Hour will be established, the Mujrimun (criminals, etc.)
will swear that they stayed not but an hour, thus were they ever deluded [away
from the truth (i.e. they used to tell lies and take false oaths, and turn away from
the truth) in this life of the world].
And those who have been bestowed with knowledge and faith will say: "Indeed
you have stayed according to the Decree of Allah, until the Day of Resurrection,
so this is the Day of Resurrection, but you knew not." (30:55-56)

These people are grumblers and complainers, living only to satisfy their desires.
They brag loudly about themselves, and they flatter others to get what they want.
(Jude 1:16)

2.1.4 The behaviour of wrongdoers, rising from the dead:

On that Day when the Trumpet is blown, the ties between them will be as nothing
and they will not ask about each other: (23:101)

They will keep moving, in distress, hating each of their associates until they reach the
caller (place of gathering). Close friends, that Day, will be enemies to each other,
except for the righteous (43:67)

You will be betrayed even by parents, brothers and sisters, relatives and friends,
They will cause some of you to be put to death. (Luke 21:16)

Engr. Baba @bamagaj

10

Warnings:
O you who have believed, fear Allah and be with those who are true. (in words and
deeds) (9:119) Wealth and children are the adornment of the life of this world. But the
good righteous deeds that last, are better with your Lord for rewards and better in
respect of hope. (18:46)

2.1.5 The behaviour of the hypocrites, rising from the dead:

Among the Jews are those who distort words from their [proper] usages and say, "We
hear and disobey" and "Hear but be not heard" and "Ra'ina," twisting their tongues and
defaming the religion. And if they had said [instead], "We hear and obey" and "Wait
for us [to understand]," it would have been better for them and more suitable. But
Allah has cursed them for their disbelief, so they believe not, except for a few. (4:46)
Some of the hypocrites and others who insult the Prophet by saying he is one who
believes everything that he hears will be left resting (sleeping) in their graves until
when the dead are resurrected. They will violently come out from their graves, moving
towards the caller, saying "Woe to us! Who has raised us up from our place of sleep?"
It will be said to them: "This is what the Most Beneficent (Allah) had promised, and
the Messengers spoke truth!" (36:51-52)

And they say, "When is this promise, if you should be truthful?" They do not
await except one blast which will seize them while they are disputing. And they
will not be able [to give] any instruction, nor to their people can they return.
(36:48-50)

It will not be but one blast, and at once they are all brought present before Us. So
today no soul will be wronged at all, and you will not be recompensed except for
what you used to do. (36:53-54)

Engr. Baba @bamagaj

11

Warnings:
O you who have believed, obey Allah and His Messenger and do not turn from him
while you hear [his order]. And do not be like those who say, "We have heard," while
they do not hear. (8:20-21)
The only statement of the [true] believers when they are called to Allah and His
Messenger to judge between them is that they say, "We hear and we obey." And those
are the successful. And whoever obeys Allah and His Messenger and fears Allah and
is conscious of Him - it is those who are the attainers. (24:51-52)

Now someone may argue, "Some people have faith; others have good deeds”. But I
say, "How can you show me your faith if you don't have good deeds? I will show
you my faith by my good deeds.” You say you have faith, for you believe that there
is one God. Good for you! Even the demons believe this, and they tremble in terror.
How foolish! Can't you see that faith without good deeds is useless?
(James 2:18-20)

Prayer:
Our Lord, indeed we have heard a caller calling to faith, [saying], 'Believe in your
Lord,' and we have believed. Our Lord, so forgive us our sins and remove from us
our misdeeds and cause us to die with the righteous. Our Lord, and grant us what
You promised us through Your messengers and do not disgrace us on the Day of
Resurrection. Indeed, You do not fail in [Your] promise." (Quran: 3:193-194)

Engr. Baba @bamagaj

12

2.1.6 The behaviour of the anti-Quran, rising from the dead:

"But whosoever turns away from My Reminder (i.e. neither believes in this
Quran nor acts on its orders, etc.) verily, for him is a life of hardship, and We
shall raise him up blind on the Day of Resurrection." He will say: "O my Lord!
Why have you raised me up blind, while I had sight (before)." Allah will say,
‘This is how it is: You ignored Our revelations when they came to you, so today
you will be ignored.’
This is how We reward those who go too far, and who do not believe in their
Lord’s revelations. The greatest and most enduring punishment is in the
Hereafter. (Quran: 20:124-127)

I know, LORD, that our lives are not our own. We are not able to plan our own
course. (Jeremiah 10:23)

2.1.7 The behaviour of the usurer, rising from the dead:

Those who consume interest cannot stand [on the Day of Resurrection] except as
one stands who is being beaten by Satan into insanity. That is because they say,
"Trade is [just] like interest." But Allah has permitted trade and has forbidden
interest. So whoever has received an admonition from his Lord and desists may
have what is past, and his affair rests with Allah. But whoever returns to [dealing
in interest or usury] - those are the companions of the Fire; they will abide
eternally therein.
Allah destroys interest and gives increase for charities. And Allah does not like
every sinning disbeliever. (2:175-176)

He lends at interest and takes a profit. Will such a man live? He will not! Because he
has done all these detestable things, he is to be put to death; his blood will be on
his own head. (Ezekiel 18:13)

Engr. Baba @bamagaj

13

Warnings:
O you who have believed, fear Allah and give up what remains [due to you] of
interest, if you should be believers. And if you do not, then be informed of a war
[against you] from Allah and His Messenger. But if you repent, you may have your
principal - [thus] you do no wrong, nor are you wronged. And if someone is in
hardship, then [let there be] postponement until [a time of] ease. But if you give [from
your right as] charity, then it is better for you, if you only knew. And fear a Day when
you will be returned to Allah. Then every soul will be compensated for what it earned,
and they will not be treated unjustly. (2:278-281)

O you who have believed, do not consume usury, doubled and multiplied, but fear
Allah that you may be successful. And fear the Fire, which has been prepared for the
disbelievers. And obey Allah and the Messenger that you may obtain mercy. (3:130-3)

Do not charge interest or make a profit at his expense. Instead, show your fear of
God by letting him live with you as your relative. (Leviticus 25:36)

2.1.8 The behaviour of wicked family, rising from the dead:

But when there comes the Deafening Blast. That Day shall a (wicked) man flee
from his brother, And his mother and his father, And his wife and his children,
For every (wicked) man, that Day, will be a matter adequate for him. (80:33-39)

These wicked families will try to hide themselves from one another; they don’t want
to hear relatives complain etc.

And [other family] faces, that Day, will have upon them dust. Blackness will
cover them. Those are the disbelievers, the wicked ones. (80:40-43)

Let him bury his face in the dust-- there may yet be hope. (Lamentations 3:29)

Engr. Baba @bamagaj

14

Warnings:
O you who have believed, let not your wealth and your children divert you from
remembrance of Allah. And whoever does that - then those are the losers. (63:9)
And if a woman fears from her husband contempt or evasion, there is no sin upon
them if they make terms of settlement between them - and settlement is best. And
present in [human] souls is stinginess. But if you do good and fear Allah - then indeed
Allah is ever, with what you do, Acquainted. And you will never be able to be equal
[in feeling] between wives, even if you should strive [to do so]. So do not incline
completely [toward one] and leave another hanging. And if you amend [your affairs]
and fear Allah - then indeed, Allah is ever Forgiving and Merciful. (4:128-129)

But if you want to replace one wife with another and you have given one of them a
great amount [in gifts], do not take [back] from it anything. Would you take it in
injustice and manifest sin? And how could you take it while you have gone in unto
each other and they have taken from you a solemn covenant? (4:20-21)

Divorce is twice. Then, either keep [her] in an acceptable manner or release [her] with
good treatment. And it is not lawful for you to take anything of what you have given
them unless both fear that they will not be able to keep [within] the limits of Allah.
But if you fear that they will not keep [within] the limits of Allah, then there is no
blame upon either of them concerning that by which she ransoms herself. These are
the limits of Allah, so do not transgress them. And whoever transgresses the limits of
Allah - it is those who are the wrongdoers. (2:229)

However, each one of you also must love his wife as he loves himself, and the wife
must respect her husband. (Ephesians 5:33)

Engr. Baba @bamagaj

15

2.1.9 The behaviour of pregnant woman, drunker, gambler, etc. Rising from the
dead:
Pregnant female who died wronging herself will immediately miscarry when she come
out from her grave. Nursing mother who died with her little baby, or died alone in sin,
will think no more of her baby when she come out from the grave. You will see the
drunker and gambler, moving in wantonness because of the hardship of the day.

How terrible it will be for pregnant women and for nursing mothers in those days.
(Mark 13:17)

Warnings:
O mankind, fear your Lord. Indeed, the convulsion of the [final] Hour is a terrible
thing. On the Day you see it every nursing mother will be distracted from that [child]
she was nursing, and every pregnant woman will abort her pregnancy, and you will
see the people [appearing] intoxicated while they are not intoxicated; but the
punishment of Allah is severe. (22:1-2)

O you who believe! Intoxicants (all kinds of alcoholic drinks), gambling, Al-Ansab,
and Al-Azlam (arrows for seeking luck or decision) are an abomination of Shaitan's
(Satan) handiwork. So avoid (strictly all) that (abomination) in order that you may be
successful. Shaitan (Satan) wants only to excite enmity and hatred between you with
intoxicants (alcoholic drinks) and gambling, and hinder you from the remembrance of
Allah and from As-Salat (the prayer). So, will you not then abstain? And obey Allah
and obey the Messenger and beware. And if you turn away - then know that upon Our
Messenger is only [the responsibility for] clear notification. (5:90-92)

Let us walk honestly, as in the day; not in rioting and drunkenness, not in
chambering and wantonness, not in strife and envying. (Romans 13:13)

Engr. Baba @bamagaj

16

2.1.10 The behaviour of teenagers, rising from the dead:

Amir reported: The Messenger of Allah (May peace be upon him) as saying: The
woman who buries alive her new-born girl and the girl who is buried alive both will
go to Hell.
[This tradition has also been transmitted by Ibn Mas’ud from the Prophet (May peace
be upon him) to the same effect through a different chain of narrators].

Girls (and boys) who are buried alive, and the children of disbelievers, will come out
from their graves and experience the great hardship as their family. The hardship of
that day will turn their hair into white.

Then how can you avoid the punishment, if you disbelieve, on a Day that will
make the children grey-headed (i.e. the Day of Resurrection)? (Quran: 73:17)

So is it other than the religion of Allah they desire, while to Him have submitted [all]
those within the heavens and earth, willingly or by compulsion, and to Him they will
be returned? (3:83)
Say, [O believers], "We have believed in Allah and what has been revealed to us and
what has been revealed to Abraham and Ishmael and Isaac and Jacob and the
Descendants and what was given to Moses and Jesus and what was given to the
prophets from their Lord. We make no distinction between any of them, and we are
Muslims [in submission] to Him." (2:136)

And Abraham instructed his sons [to do the same] and [so did] Jacob, [saying], "O my
sons, indeed Allah has chosen for you this religion, so do not die except while you are
Muslims." (2:132)

Tell your children about it in the years to come, and let your children tell their
children. Pass the story down from generation to generation. (Joel 1:3)

CHAPTER THREE
3.0 THE DAY OF SEPARATION:
When all creatures are raised from the dead, they must run to the caller- who will be
standing as a minaret- and gather themselves there. Hearts, that Day, will tremble,
their eyes humbled. On that day, you will see faces changes to either black or white.

Indeed, these [disbelievers] are saying, "There is not but our first death, and we
will not be resurrected. Then bring [back] our forefathers, if you should be
truthful."
Are they better or the people of Tubba' and those before them? We destroyed
them, [for] indeed, they were criminals. And We did not create the heavens and
earth and that between them in play. We did not create them except in truth, but
most of them do not know. Indeed, the Day of Judgement is the appointed time
for them all - The Day when no relation will avail a relation at all, nor will they
be helped - Except those [believers] on whom Allah has mercy. Indeed, He is the
Exalted in Might, the Merciful. (44:34-42)

Therefore, be patient," says the LORD. "Soon I will stand and accuse these evil
nations. For I have decided to gather the kingdoms of the earth and pour out my
fiercest anger and fury on them. All the earth will be devoured by the fire of my
jealousy. (Zephaniah 3:8)

Allah (SWA) will separate all resurrected people into groups:

And on the Day when the Hour will be established, that Day shall (all men) be
separated (i.e. the believers will be separated from the disbelievers). And as for
those who had believed and done righteous deeds, they will be in a garden [of
Paradise], delighted. But as for those who disbelieved and denied Our verses and
the meeting of the Hereafter, those will be brought into the punishment [to
remain]. (30:14-16)

Engr. Baba @bamagaj

18

You will ˹all˺ be ˹divided into˺ three groups:

 Those on the Right––what people they are!
 Those on the Left––what people they are!
 And the foremost are the foremost, (Quran 56:7-10)

3.1 Saabiqun as-Saabiqun (the foremost):

They shall be near-stationed (to their Lord). In the Gardens of Pleasure. A
multitude of those (foremost) will be from the first generations (who embraced
Islam). and a few from later generations. (Quran 56:11-14)

Warnings:
Say, [O Muhammad], "Indeed, the former and the later peoples, Are to be gathered
together for the appointment of a known Day." (Quran 56:49-50)
Indeed, the righteous will be among shades and springs. And fruits from whatever they
desire, [Being told], "Eat and drink in satisfaction for what you used to do." (77:41-43)

These foremost (Outstrippers, forerunners) will be stationed in a specific “common

garden” to stay for the period of judgement before they will be taken to the Paradise.

3.2 As-Hab al-Myman (those on the right hand): will be those who are not foremost
(in Islamic Faith of Monotheism and in performing righteous deeds) in the life of this
world. They will be stopped (in the Day of Separation) beside the paradise, between
Saabiqun as-Saabiqun (the foremost) and the disbelievers (those on the Left Hand).

3.3 As-haabul Mash’am (those on the Left Hand), most of them (pagan)
disbelievers, shall be stopped beside the Hell (Fire). It will be said to them: “Go off to
what you used to cry as lies! Proceed to a shadow [of Hell-fire smoke] having
three columns, which neither provides (cooling) shade nor protection against the
flames”

Engr. Baba @bamagaj

19

Verily! It (the shadow) throws sparks (huge) as Al-Qasr [fortress], which seem as
though they are yellow-coloured camels. Woe that Day to the deniers (of the Day
of Resurrection)! (77:29-34)

…smoke poured out as though from a huge furnace, and the sunlight and air turned
dark from the smoke. Then locusts came from the smoke and descended on the
earth, and they were given power to sting like scorpions. They were told not to
harm the grass or plants or trees (of the common garden), but only the people who
did not have the seal of God on their foreheads (disbelievers). They were told not
to kill them but to torture them for five months with pain like the pain of a
scorpion sting. In those days people will seek death but will not find it. They will
long to die, but death will flee from them! (Revelation 9:1-5)

Fig. 3.0 The separation Ground

Warnings:
Wait they for naught else than that Allah should come unto them in the shadows of the
clouds with the angels? Then the case would be already judged. All cases go back to
Allah (for judgment). (2:210)

Engr. Baba @bamagaj

20

That day, a friend will not ask for his friend in another group, in fact a friend will hate
his wicked friend.3 Each group will remain in the conditions of their torment or
enjoyment. Some of those that should be under the shades of smoke –which sparks
like yellow camels or big locust will be falling- shall think that the Judgement will be
better than their shades situations (torments).

Truly, that Day will be a Hard Day. For the disbelievers - not easy. (Qr- 74:9-10)
No! There is no refuge. To your Lord, that Day, is the [place of] permanence.
Man will be informed that Day of what he sent ahead and kept back. Rather,
man, against himself, will be a witness, Even if he presents his excuses. (75:11-15)

The minor groupings under the smoke of hellfire shall be the group of Jews,
Christians, Sabeans and Magians;

Surely the ones who have believed, and the ones who have Judaized, and the
SabiÉîn (The Sabaeans) and Nasara, (Christians) and the Majûs (The Magians)
and the ones who have associated (other gods with Allah) surely Allah will
distinguish between them on the Day of the Resurrection; surely Allah is an Ever-
present Witness over everything. (22:17)

But

Indeed, those who have believed [in Prophet Muhammad] and those [before Him]
who were Jews or Sabeans or Christians - those [among them] who believed in
Allah and the Last Day and did righteousness - no fear will there be concerning
them, nor will they grieve. (5:69) And

Indeed, those who believed and those who were Jews or Christians or Sabeans
[before Prophet Muhammad] - those [among them] who believed in Allah and the
Last Day and did righteousness - will have their reward with their Lord, and no
fear will there be concerning them, nor will they grieve. (2:62)

3. Qur'an 70:10

Engr. Baba @bamagaj

21

Allah knows it better. Just to shorten the explanations, ˹Watch for˺ the Day We will
gather from every faith-community a group of those who denied Our revelations,
and they will be driven in ranks. Until, when they arrive [at the place of
Judgement], He will say, "Did you deny My signs while you encompassed them
not in knowledge, or what [was it that] you were doing?" And the decree will
befall them for the wrong they did, and they will not [be able to] speak. (27:83-85)

And they will be asked: “What response did you give to the messengers?” Then the
(whole) story that Day will seem obscure to them (like light to the blind) and they
will not be able (even) to question each other.

Warning:
And what think those who invent lies against Allah, of the Day of Judgment? Verily
Allah is full of bounty to mankind, but most of them are ungrateful. (10:60)

Don't change what God has said! He will correct you and show that you are a liar.
(Proverbs 30:6)

When all human beings and the Jinns (demons) are gathered, all messengers of Allah
(including Jesus of Nazareth) will be gathered separately.

And when the Messengers are gathered to their time appointed; For what Day
are these signs postponed? For the Day of sorting out! And what will explain to
you what is the Day of sorting out? Woe that Day to the deniers (of the Day of
Resurrection)! (77:11-15)

Allah (SWA) will question His Messengers: “What was the response you received
(from men to your teaching)?” They will say: "We have no knowledge, verily, only
You are the All-Knower of all that is hidden (or unseen, etc.). (5:109)

Then, Allah (SWA) will start explaining it to the Jesus (Peace be unto him), Saying:

Engr. Baba @bamagaj

"O Jesus, Son of Mary, remember My favour upon you and upon your mother
when I supported you with the Pure Spirit and you spoke to the people in the
cradle and in maturity; and [remember] when I taught you writing and wisdom
and the Torah and the Gospel; and when you designed from clay [what was] like
the form of a bird with My permission, then you breathed into it, and it became a
bird with My permission; and you healed the blind and the leper with My
permission; and when you brought forth the dead with My permission; and when
I restrained the Children of Israel from [killing] you when you came to them with
clear proofs and those who disbelieved among them said, "This is not but obvious
magic."

And [remember] when I inspired to the disciples, "Believe in Me and in My

messenger Jesus." They said, "We have believed, so bear witness that indeed we
are Muslims [in submission to Allah]."

[And remember] when the disciples said, "O Jesus, Son of Mary, can your Lord
send down to us a table [spread with food] from the heaven? [Jesus] said," Fear
Allah, if you should be believers." They said, "We wish to eat from it and let our
hearts be reassured and know that you have been truthful to us and be among its
witnesses." (Then) Said Jesus, the son of Mary, "O Allah, our Lord, send down to
us a table [spread with food] from the heaven to be for us a festival for the first of
us and the last of us and a sign from You. And provide for us, and You are the
best of providers." Allah said, "Indeed, I will send it down to you, but whoever
disbelieves afterwards from among you - then indeed will I punish him with a
punishment by which I have not punished anyone among the worlds."(5:110-115)

And imagine when thereafter Allah will say: 'Jesus, son of Mary, did you say to
people: "Take me and my mother for gods beside Allah?" and he will answer:

the reach of human perception.
I never told them anything except what You ordered me to say:

“Worship God (Allah)—my Lord (Rabbi-y) and your Lord (Rabbi-kum)!”

"For the Scriptures say, 'You “But be not ye called Rabbi The first commandment

24

Now, fellow Israelites, I know that you acted in ignorance, as did your leaders. But
this is how God fulfilled what He had foretold through all the prophets, saying that
His Messiah would suffer. Repent, then, and turn to God, so that your sins may be
wiped out, that times of refreshing may come from the Lord. (Acts 3:17-19)

Allah will say, "This is the Day when the truthful will benefit from their
truthfulness." For them are gardens [in Paradise] beneath which rivers flow,
wherein they will abide forever, Allah being pleased with them, and they with
Him. That is the great attainment. (5:119)

Having heard everything, I have reached this conclusion: Fear God and keep his
commandments, because this is the whole duty of man. (Ecclesiastes 12:13)
"So be careful to obey all the commands I give you. You must not add anything to
them or subtract anything from them. (Deuteronomy 12:32)

Warning:
O Mankind, the Messenger has come to you with the truth from your Lord, so believe;
it is better for you. But if you disbelieve - then indeed, to Allah belongs whatever is in
the heavens and earth. And ever is Allah Knowing and Wise.
O People of the Scripture, do not commit excess in your religion or say about Allah
except the truth. The Messiah, Jesus, the son of Mary, was but a messenger of Allah
and His word which He directed to Mary and a soul [created at a command] from
Him. So believe in Allah and His messengers. And do not say, "Three"; desist - it is
better for you. Indeed, Allah is but one God. Exalted is He above having a son. To
Him belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on the earth. And sufficient is
Allah as Disposer of affairs.
Never would the Messiah disdain to be a servant of Allah, nor would the angels near
[to Him]. And whoever disdains His worship and is arrogant - He will gather them to
Himself all together. (4:170-172)

"Fellow Israelites, listen to this: Jesus of Nazareth was a man (messenger)

accredited by God to you by miracles, wonders and signs, which God did among
you through him, as you yourselves know. (Acts 2:22)

Allah would gather, in one plain, the earlier and the later (of the human race)
on the Day of Resurrection. Nations would be left suffering the torment of the
descended sun…

"The people will perspire on the Day of Resurrection and their

perspiration will be seventy cubits down in the earth and it will reach up
to their ears (they will be bridled with it)"4.

…Then the voice of the proclaimer would be heard by all of them and the eyesight
would penetrate through all of them and the sun would come near. People would then
experience a degree of anguish, anxiety and agony which they shall not be able to bear
and they shall not be able to stand. Some people would say to the others: Don’t you
see in which trouble you are? Don't you see what (misfortune) has overtaken you?
Why don't you find one who should intercede for you with your Lord? Some would
say to the others: Go to Adam. And they would go to Adam and say:

O Adam, thou art the father of mankind. Allah created thee by His own Hand and
breathed in thee of His spirit and ordered the angels to prostrate before thee. Intercede
for us with thy Lord Don't you see in what (trouble) we are? Don't you see what
(misfortune) has overtaken us? Adam would say: Verily, my Lord is angry, to an
extent to which He had never been angry before nor would He be angry afterward.
Verily, He forbade me (to go near) that tree and I disobeyed Him. I am concerned with
my own self. Go to someone else; go to Noah.
They would come to Noah and would say: O Noah, thou art the first of the Messengers
(sent) on the earth (after Adam), and Allah named thee as a "Grateful Servant,"

intercede for us with thy Lord. Don't you see in what (trouble) we are? Don't you see
what (misfortune) has overtaken us? He would say: Verily, my Lord is angry today as
He had never been angry before, and would never be angry afterwards. There had
emanated a curse from me with which I cursed my people. I am concerned with only
myself, I am concerned only with myself; you better go to Ibrahim (Abraham).
They would go to Ibrahim (PBUH) and say: Thou art the apostle of Allah and His
Friend amongst the inhabitants of the earth; intercede for us with thy Lord. Don't you
see in which (trouble) we are? Don't you see what (misfortune) has overtaken us?
Ibrahim would say to them: Verily, my Lord is today angry as He had never been
angry before and would never be angry afterwards. And (Ibrahim) would mention his
lies5 (and then say): I am concerned only with myself; I am concerned only with
myself. You better go to someone else: go to Moses.
They would come to Moses (peace be upon him) and say: O Moses, thou art Allah's
messenger, Allah blessed thee with His messengership and His conversation amongst
people. Intercede for us with thy Lord. Don't you see in what (trouble) we are? Don't
you see what (misfortune) has overtaken us? Moses (peace be upon him) would say to
them: Verily my Lord is angry as He had never been angry before and would never be
angry afterwards. I, in fact, killed a person whom I had not been ordered to kill. I am
concerned with myself, I am concerned with myself. You better go to Jesus (PBUH).
They would come to Jesus and would say: O Jesus, thou art the messenger of Allah
and thou conversed with people in the cradle, (thou art) His Word which He sent down
upon Mary and (thou art) the Spirit from Him; so intercede for us with thy Lord. Don't
you see (the trouble) in which we are? Don't you see (the misfortune) that has
overtaken us? Jesus (peace be upon him) would say: Verily, my Lord is angry today as
He had never been angry before or would never be angry afterwards. He mentioned no
sin of his. (He simply said): I am concerned with myself, I am concerned with myself;
you go to someone else: better go to Muhammad (Peace be upon him).

(Jesus said): On the day of judgment many will call me their Lord. They will say,
“We preached in your name, and in your name we forced out demons and worked
many miracles.” But I (Jesus) will tell them, “I will have nothing to do with you! Get
out of my sight, you evil people!” (Matthew 7:22-23)

The Prophet (PBUH) said: They would come to me and say: O Muhammad, thou art
the messenger of Allah and the last of the apostles. Allah has pardoned thee all thy
previous and later sins. Intercede for us with thy Lord; don't you see in which (trouble)
we are? Don't you see what (misfortune) has overtaken us?
The Prophet (PBUH) said: I shall then set off and come below the Throne and fall
down prostrate before my Lord; then Allah would reveal to me and inspire me with
some of His Praises and Glorifications which He had not revealed to anyone before
me. He would then say: Muhammad, raise thy head; ask and it would be granted;
intercede and intercession would be accepted. I would then raise my head and say: O
my Lord, my people, my people. It would be said: O Muhammad, bring in by the right
gate of Paradise those of your people who would have no account to render…
[Sahih Muslim Book 1 Hadith 378].

Fear of the LORD is the foundation of true knowledge, but fools despise wisdom
and discipline. (Proverbs 1:7)

As people move, seeking for relief through prophets, it might be:

On (that) the Day you shall see the believing men and the believing women their
light running forward before them and by their right hands. Glad tidings for you
this Day! Gardens under which rivers flow (Paradise), to dwell therein forever!
Truly, this is the great success!

On the [same] Day the hypocrite men and hypocrite women will say to those who
believed, "Wait for us that we may acquire some of your light." It will be said,

Engr. Baba @bamagaj

"Go back behind you and seek light." And a wall will be placed between them
with a door, its interior containing mercy, but on the outside of it is torment.
The hypocrites will call to the believers, "Were we not with you?" They will say,
"Yes, but you afflicted yourselves and awaited [misfortune for us] and doubted,
and wishful thinking deluded you until there came the command of Allah. And
the Deceiver deceived you concerning Allah. (57:12-14)

What sorrow awaits those who try to hide their plans from the LORD, who do their
evil deeds in the dark! "The LORD can't see us," they say. "He doesn't know what's
going on!" (Isaiah 29:15)

Then, the scales of justice shall be installed ready, for people to render their accounts!

And We place the scales of justice for the Day of Resurrection, so no soul will be
treated unjustly at all. And if there is [even] the weight of a mustard seed, We
will bring it forth. And sufficient are We as accountant. (Quran 21:47)

The LORD has sworn by the pride of Jacob: “Surely I will never forget any of
their deeds. (Amos 8:7)

Honest scales and balances belong to the LORD; all the weights in the bag are of
his making. (Proverbs 16:11)

Whoever comes [on the Day of Judgement] with a good deed will have ten times
the like thereof [to his credit], and whoever comes with an evil deed will not be
recompensed except the like thereof; and they will not be wronged. (Quran 6:160)

Engr. Baba @bamagaj

29

Warning:
And the weighing [of deeds] that Day will be the truth. So those whose scales are
heavy - it is they who will be the successful. And those whose scales are light - they
are the ones who will lose themselves for what injustice they were doing toward Our
verses. (7:8-9)

That's the whole story. Here now is my final conclusion: Fear God and obey his
commands, for this is everyone's duty. (Ecclesiastes 12:13)

3.4 PRAYER:
My Lord, make me an establisher of prayer, and [many] from my descendants.
Our Lord, and accept my supplication. Our Lord, forgive me and my parents
and the believers the Day the account is established." (Quran 14:40-41)

CHAPTER FOUR
4.0 THE DAY OF RECKONING- THE DAY WHEN THE WITNESSES ARISE:

On one of the days of Reckoning –the Day of judgement, the messengers of Allah will
appear and testify witness to those who agreed with them (as messengers of Allah),
and testify against the disbelievers.

…"Look! This stone will testify for us, because it has heard everything that the
LORD has spoken to us. So it will stand as a witness against you in the event that
you deny your God." (Joshua 24:27)

Allah's Apostle said, "Noah and his nation will come (on the Day of Judgement and
Allah will ask (Noah), "Did you convey (the Message)?' He will reply, 'Yes, O my
Lord!' Then Allah will ask Noah's nation, 'Did Noah convey My Message to you?'
They will reply, 'No, no prophet came to us. 'Then Allah will ask Noah, 'Who will
stand a witness for you?' He will reply, 'Muhammad and his followers (will stand
witness for me). 'So, I and my followers will stand as witnesses for him (that he
conveyed Allah's Message)." That is, (the interpretation) of the Statement of Allah:
"Thus we have made you a just and the best nation that you might be witnesses
over mankind... (2:143)" Narrated by Abu Sa’id. (See Sahih al-Bukhari Book 55 Hadith 555)

So how [will it be] when We bring from every nation a witness and we bring you,
[O Muhammad] against these [people] as a witness?

That Day, those who disbelieved and disobeyed the Messenger will wish they
could be covered by the earth. And they will not conceal from Allah a [single]
statement. (4:41-42)

People will beg the mountains, 'Fall on us,' and plead with the hills, 'Bury us.'
(Luke 23:30)

Engr. Baba @bamagaj

31

It was one day, when one of the prophet’s companions arrived the recitation of: So
how [will it be] when We bring from every nation a witness and we bring you…,
the prophet (PBUH) was observed shedding tears. Definitely he had been reminded
the Day when the witnesses will stand (to give their testimony).

On that day, Angels will also give testimony! And who is more unjust than he who
invents a lie about Allah? Those will be presented before their Lord, and the
witnesses will say, "These are the ones who lied against their Lord."
Unquestionably, the curse of Allah is upon the wrongdoers. (11:18)

Oh Allah! You have said, and we trusted Your words: “Verily, We will indeed make
victorious Our Messengers and those who believe (in the Oneness of Allah-
Islamic Monotheism) in this world's life and on the Day when the witnesses will
stand forth” (40:51) “Our Lord! We believe in what You have sent down, and we
follow the Messenger; so write us down among those who bear witness (to the truth
i.e. La ilaha ill-Allah - none has the right to be worshipped but Allah)”. (3:53)

On the day of Judgement, one must agree with what is testified against him. “That Day
mankind will proceed in scattered groups that they may be shown their deeds. So
whosoever does good equal to the weight of an atom (or a small ant), shall see it. And
whosoever does evil equal to the weight of an atom (or a small ant), shall see it.”
(Quran 99:6-8)

4.1 Book distributions.

Distribution of books- from Sijjin and Illiyyun- will start when all the messengers of
Allah are gathered ready for witnesses.

And when the Messengers are gathered to their time appointed; (Do you know)
for which day has all this been delayed? For the Day of Judgement. And what
can make you know what is the Day of Judgement? Woe, on that Day, to those
who denied the truth! (77:11-13)

Engr. Baba @bamagaj

32

As it is explained in the book “The life of Soul after death” souls (deeds) are
documented after death in the book of life (Illiyyun) or Sijjin. It would be from these
inscribed registers that mankind shall be given the record of what he has done (in
worldly life). Whoever observe that his record is pulled out from the book of life
would have his book (record) to be handed in his right palm. “Then as for him who
will be given his Record in his right hand will say: "Take, read my Record!
“Surely, I did believe that I shall meet my Account!” … But as for him who will
be given his Record in his left hand, will say: "I wish that I had not been given
my Record! "And that I had never known how my Account is? "I wish, would
that it had been my end (death)! “My wealth has not availed me, "My power and
arguments (to defend myself) have gone from me!" (69:19-29)

And I saw the dead, great and small, standing before the throne. And there were
open books, and one of them was the book of life. And the dead were judged
according to their deeds, as recorded in the books. (BSB: Revelation 20:12)

And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of
fire. (Revelation 20:15)

Warning!
O man! Verily, you are returning towards your Lord with your deeds and actions
(good or bad), a sure returning, so you will meet (i.e. the results of your deeds which
you did). Then, as for him who will be given his Record in his right hand, He surely
will receive an easy reckoning, And will return to his family in joy! But whosoever is
given his Record behind his back, He will invoke (his) destruction, And shall enter a
blazing Fire, and made to taste its burning. Verily, he was among his people in
joy! Verily, he thought that he would never come back (to Us)! Yes! Verily, his Lord
has been ever beholding him! (84:6-15)

Engr. Baba @bamagaj

33

And the Book (of Records) will be placed, and you will see the Mujrimun (criminals,
polytheists, sinners, etc.), fearful of that which is (recorded) therein. They will say:
"Woe to us! What sort of Book is this that leaves neither a small thing nor a big thing,
but has recorded it with numbers!" And they will find all that they did, placed before
them, and your Lord treats no one with injustice. (18:49)
You will see (on the Day of Judgement), the Zalimun (polytheists and wrong-doers,
etc.) fearful of that which they have earned, and it (Allah's Torment) will surely befall
them, while those who believe (in the Oneness of Allah –Islamic Monotheism) and do
righteous deeds (will be) in the flowering meadows of the Gardens (Paradise), having
what they wish from their Lord. That is the supreme Grace, (Paradise). (42:22)

On the Day when every person will be confronted with all the good he has done, and
all the evil he has done, he will wish that there were a great distance between him and
his evil. And Allah warns you against Himself (His Punishment) and Allah is full of
Kindness to the (His) slaves. (3:30)

Behold!

Say (O Muhammad): "Shall We tell you the greatest losers in respect of (their) deeds?
"Those whose efforts have been wasted in this life while they thought that they were
acquiring good by their deeds! "They are those who deny the Ayat (proofs, evidences,
verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.) of their Lord and the Meeting with Him (in the
Hereafter). So their works are in vain, and on the Day of Resurrection, We shall not
give them any weight. "That shall be their recompense, Hell; because they disbelieved
and took My Ayat (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.) and My
Messengers by way of jest and mockery. (18:103-106)

Erase their names from the Book of Life; don't let them be counted among the
righteous. (Psalm 69:28). The LORD replied, "I will wipe out of my book the name of
everyone who has sinned against me. (Exodus 32:33)

34

And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of
fire. (Revelation 20:15)

Abu Huraira reported Allah's Messenger (Peace be upon him) as saying: A bulky
person would be brought on the Day of Judgment and he would not carry the weight to
the eye of Allah equal even to that of a gnat. Nor shall We set up a balance for them
on the Day of Resurrection" (Sahih Muslim Book 39 Hadith 6698)

Thereafter Allah will judge between you on the Day of the Judgement concerning
that wherein you used to differ (Quran 22:69).

We know that God has said he will punish and take revenge. We also know that the
Scriptures say the Lord will judge his people. (Hebrews 10:30)

Civil cases shall be reviewed accordingly, he who had cheated his neighbour must pay
back its equivalent from his good deeds.

Abu Hurairah narrated that the Messenger of Allah (Peace be upon him) said:
"Do you know who the bankrupt is?" They said: "O Messenger of Allah! The bankrupt
among us is the one who has no Dirham nor property." The Messenger of Allah (Peace
be upon him) said: "The bankrupt in my Ummah is the one who comes with Salat and
fasting and Zakat on the Day of Judgement, but he comes having abused this one,
falsely accusing that one, wrongfully consuming the wealth of this one, spilling the
blood of that one, and beating this one. SO he is seated, and this one is requited from
his rewards. If his rewards are exhausted before the sins that he committed are
requited, then some of their sins will be taken and cast upon him, then he will be cast
into the Fire." (Jami` at-Tirmidhi Book 35 Hadith 2418)

Even animals that lived jungly shall be judged. Abu Huraira reported Allah's
Messenger (Peace be upon him) as saying: The claimants would get their claims on

the Day of Resurrection so much so that the hornless sheep would get its claim from
the horned sheep.6 And all these shall happened when the wild beasts are gathered.7

I tell you, on the day of judgment people will give account for every careless word
they speak, (Matthew 12:36)

After the full (complete) judgments of animals, they shall be transformed (deadly) into
the sand. Hence a man will look on what his own hands have sent forth, and the
unbelievers shall say: “Oh would that I were utter dust” (as uttered to animals).

People will beg the mountains, 'Fall on us,' and plead with the hills, 'Bury us.'
(Luke 23:30)

Warning:
Indeed, We have warned you of a near punishment on the Day when a man will
observe what his hands have put forth and the disbeliever will say, "Oh, I wish that I
were dust!" (78:40) … And he who beareth (a burden of) wrongdoing is indeed a
failure (on that day). And he who hath done some good works, being a believer,
he feareth not injustice nor begrudging (of his wage). (20:111)

After all the hearings (of complaints), after judgment, final results of deeds (after
gaining or loosing from judgment) shall be waited. And you will see each nation
humbled to their knees (kneeling), each nation will be called to its Record (of
deeds), (and told) “This Day you shall be recompensed for what you used to do”.8

Warnings:
This record of Ours speaks the truth about you. Indeed, We always had your deeds
recorded ˹by the angels˺.” As for those who believed and did good, their Lord will
admit them into His mercy. That is ˹truly˺ the absolute triumph. And as for those who
disbelieved, ˹they will be told,˺ “Were My revelations not recited to you, yet you acted
arrogantly and were a wicked people? And whenever it was said ˹to you˺, ‘Surely
Allah’s promise ˹of judgment˺ is true and there is no doubt about the Hour,’ you said
˹mockingly˺, ‘We do not know what the Hour is! We think it is no more than
speculation, and we are not convinced ˹that it will ever come˺.’” And the evil
˹consequences˺ of their deeds will unfold before them, and they will be overwhelmed
by what they used to ridicule. It will be said, “This Day We will neglect you as you
neglected the meeting of this Day of yours! Your home will be the Fire, and you will
have no helpers. This is because you made a mockery of Allah’s revelations, and were
deluded by ˹your˺ worldly life.” So ˹from˺ that Day ˹on˺ they will not be taken out of
the Fire, nor will they be allowed to appease ˹their Lord˺.
So all praise is for Allah—Lord of the heavens and Lord of the earth, Lord of all
worlds. To Him belongs ˹all˺ Majesty in the heavens and the earth. And He is the
Almighty, All-Wise. (45:29-)

And (remember) the Day when the Zalim (wrong-doer, oppressor, polytheist,
etc.) will bite at his hands, he will say: "Oh! Would that I had taken a path with
the Messenger (Muhammad SAW). Woe to me! I wish I had never taken so-and-
so as a close friend. "He indeed led me astray from the Reminder (this Quran)
after it had come to me. And Shaitan (Satan) is ever a deserter to man in the hour
of need." (25:27)

But now I am writing to you not to associate with anyone who calls himself a
Christian who is sexually immoral, or greedy, or an idolater, or verbally abusive, or
a drunkard, or a swindler. Do not even eat with such a person. (NET Bible 1Cor 5.11)

37

All nations shall be seen kneeling, waiting for the final results, when Angels shall
come to the believers and congratulate them with glad tidings. The day they see the
angels - no good tidings will there be that day for the criminals, and [the angels]
will say, (to the disbelievers) "Prevented and inaccessible." (None (of you) will be
allowed to enter Paradise).

And We shall turn to whatever deeds they (disbelievers, polytheists, sinners, etc.)
did, and We shall make such deeds as scattered floating particles of dust. (25:22)

Disbelievers, polytheists, sinners, etc. will get their final result (boldly written) that
they will enter Hell. Even if they cannot be able to read, Angels will read to them,
thereafter the results will be collected and shredded as scattered floating particles of
dust.
Finally, they shall be called to the Sirat (path) of fire Jahim. And verily, the Fujjar
(the wicked, disbelievers, sinners and evil-doers) will be in the blazing Fire (Hell).
In which they will enter, and taste its burning flame (instantly) on the Day of
Recompense.

CHAPTER FIVE
5.0 The Day of Recompense:

And what can make you know what is the Day of Recompense? Then, what can
make you know what is the Day of Recompense? It is the Day when a soul will
not possess for another soul [power to do] a thing; and the command, that Day, is
[entirely] with Allah. (82:14-)

Fujjar can be able to observe the Day of Recompense, hence: They will say, "O woe
to us! This is the Day of Recompense." [They will be told], "This is the Day of
˹Final˺ Decision (Gathering for the Day of approaching horror) which you used
to deny." (37:20)

The days of punishment have come; the days of recompense have come; Israel shall
know it. (You, Israel, said:) The prophet is a fool; the man of the spirit is mad, (you
said all) because of your great iniquity and great hatred. (Hosea 9:7)

The Day when they will (all) come out, nothing of them will be hidden from
Allah. Whose is the kingdom this Day? (Allah Himself will reply to His
Question): It is Allah's the One, the Irresistible! This Day shall every person be
recompensed for what he earned. No injustice (shall be done to anybody). Truly,
Allah is Swift in reckoning. (40:16)

[The angels will be ordered], "Gather those who committed wrong, their kinds,
and what they used to worship Other than Allah, and guide them to the path of
Hellfire, And stop them; indeed, they are to be questioned." (37:20-24)

And every person will come forth along with an (angel) to drive (him), and an (angel)
to bear witness (50:21). They shall be derived, violently, to the station. On that Day
mankind will follow strictly (the voice of) Allah's caller, no crookedness (that is
without going to the right or left of that voice) will they show him (Allah's caller).

Engr. Baba @bamagaj

39

And all voices will be humbled for the Most Beneficent (Allah), and nothing shall
you hear but the low voice of their footsteps. (20:108)

He will keep the feet of his holy ones; But the wicked shall be put to silence in
darkness; For by strength shall no man prevail. (1 Samuel 2:9)

(It will be said to the sinners): "Indeed you were heedless of this, now We have
removed your covering, and sharp is your sight this Day!" (50:22)

Therefore: I said as Abraham (Peace be upon him) said:

He said, "Then do you see what you have been worshipping, You and your ancient
forefathers? Indeed, they are enemies to me, except the Lord of the worlds, Who
created me, and He [it is who] guides me. And it is He who feeds me and gives me
drink. And when I am ill, it is He who cures me, And who will cause me to die and
then bring me to life. And who I aspire that He will forgive me my sin on the Day of
Recompense." (26:75)

If you worship me, the LORD your God, I will bless you with food and water and
take away all your sicknesses. (Exodus 23:25)

Do not bow down (as you do in Salah) to any idol or worship it, because I am the
LORD your God and I tolerate no rivals. I bring punishment on those who hate me
and on their descendants down to the third and fourth generation. (Exodus 20:5)

5.1 Stopping at the Station of Jaheem:

When Fujjar (sinners) finished the compulsory race and shall be fully tired, they will
be stopped at a certain portion of Jahim-Fire path.

Engr. Baba @bamagaj

40

And they will be set before your Lord in (lines as) rows, (and Allah will say):
"Now indeed, you have come to Us as We created you the first time. Nay, but you
thought that We had appointed no meeting for you (with Us)." (18:48)

There, at the station: They will turn to one another and question one another. They
will say: "It was you who used to come to us from the right side [i.e. from the
right side of one of us and beautify for us every evil, order us for polytheism, and
stop us from the truth." They will reply: "Nay, you yourselves were not believers.
“And we had no authority over you. Nay! But you were transgressing people
(disobedient, polytheists, and disbelievers). "So now the Word of our Lord has
been justified against us, that we shall certainly (have to) taste (the torment of
Jahim-Fire). “So we led you astray because we were ourselves astray.” (37:27-)

But now I am writing to you not to associate with anyone who calls himself a
Christian who is sexually immoral, or greedy, or an idolater, or verbally abusive, or
a drunkard, or a swindler. Do not even eat with such a person. (NET Bible 1Cor 5.11)

Thereafter they will be asked: "What is the matter with you? Why do you not help
one another (as you used to do in the world)?" (37:25) Nay, but that Day they
shall surrender!

Warning:
Then verily, that Day, they will (all) share in the torment. Certainly, that is how We
deal with Al-Mujrimun (sinners, criminals, etc.). Truly, when it was said to them: La
ilaha illa-Allah "(none has the right to be worshipped but Allah)," they puffed
themselves up with pride (i.e. denied it). And (they) said: "Are we going to abandon
our gods for the sake of a mad poet? Nay! he (Muhammad (PBUH)) has come with
the truth and he confirms the Messengers (before him (including Jesus)). Verily, you
(pagans) are going to taste the painful torment; And you will be requited nothing

Engr. Baba @bamagaj

41

except for what you used to do (evil deeds, sins, and Allah's disobedience which you
used to do in this world); (37:33)

"How terrible it will be for you, scribes and Pharisees, you hypocrites! You devour
widows' houses and say long prayers to cover it up. Therefore, you will receive
greater condemnation! (Matthew 23:14)

Disobedient, polytheists, disbelievers etc., arranged in rows at the station (that day);
The Day when the(ir) Shin shall be laid bare and they shall be called to prostrate
(to Allah), but they shall not be able to do so. Their eyes will be cast down,
ignominy will cover them; they used to be called to prostrate (offer Salah
prayers), while they were healthy and good (in the life of the world, but they did
not). (68:42-)

The look on their faces testifies to their guilt; like the people of Sodom they openly
boast of their sin. Too bad for them! For they bring disaster on themselves.
(Isaiah 3:9)

Warning:
Then leave Me Alone with such as belie this Qur'an. We shall punish them gradually
from directions they perceive not. And I will grant them a respite. Verily, My Plan is
strong. Or is it that you (O Muhammad (PBUH)) ask them a wage, so that they are
heavily burdened with debt? Or that the Ghaib (unseen -Lauh Al-Mahfuz) is in their
hands, so that they can write it down? So wait with patience for the Decision of your
Lord, and be not like the Companion of the Fish, when he cried out (to Us) while he
was in deep sorrow. (See the Qur'an, Verse 21:87). Had not a Grace from his Lord
reached him, he would indeed have been (left in the stomach of the fish, but We
forgave him), so he was cast off on the naked shore, while he was to be blamed. But
his Lord chose him and made him of the righteous. (Quran 68:44-50)

Engr. Baba @bamagaj

42

I will punish them severely and take full revenge on them. They will feel my anger.
Then they will know that I am the LORD." (Ezekiel 25:17)

5.2 Prayers:
"Our Lord! Forgive me and my parents, and (all) the believers on the Day when
the reckoning will be established." (14:41)

Our Lord, and grant us what You promised us through Your messengers and do
not disgrace us on the Day of Resurrection. Indeed, You do not fail in [Your]
promise." (3:194)

…"My Lord! Grant me the power and ability that I may be grateful for Your
Favour which You have bestowed upon me and upon my parents, and that I may
do righteous good deeds, such as please You, and make my off-spring good.
Truly, I have turned to You in repentance, and truly, I am one of the Muslims
(submitting to Your Will)." (46:15)

6.7 THE DWELLERS OF JAHEEM HELL-FIRE:

Jaheem-Fire is the most dangerous Hell reserved for the condemned criminals. The
following sinners are said to dwell in Jaheem:

1. They who disbelieve and deny our Ayat (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons,
signs, revelations, etc.) are those who will be the dwellers of the Jaheem
Hellfire. See Quran: (5:10) (5:85) (57:19)
2. And the ones who have endeavoured against Our signs trying to defy them,
those will be the companions (i.e., inhabitants) of Jaheem Hellfire. (22:51)
3. Those who treat (Truth) as Falsehood, who go wrong. See (Quran 56:92)
4. So as for he who transgressed, And preferred the life of the world, Then indeed,
Jaheem Hellfire will be [his] refuge. See (Quran 79:37-)
5. And indeed, the wicked will be in Jaheem Hellfire. See (Quran 82:14)
6. Pagan (Idolaters). (See Quran 9:113)

Some signs of Pagan (Idolaters) are as follows:

1. They have attributed to Allah partners - the jinn (demons), while He has created
them - and have fabricated for Him sons and daughters. Exalted is He and high
above what they describe (Quran 6:100)

They provoked His jealousy with different gods; they enraged Him with
detestable (polytheist) practices. (Deuteronomy 32:16)

Engr. Baba @bamagaj

49

2. They assign to Allah a share of the tilth and cattle which He has created, and
they say: "This is for Allah according to their pretending, and this is for our
(Allah's so-called) partners." But the share of their (Allah's so-called) "partners"
reaches not Allah, while the share of Allah reaches their (Allah's so-called)
"partners"! Evil is the way they judge! (Quran 6:136)

What can we bring to the Lord? What kind of offerings should we give him?
Should we bow before God with offerings of yearling calves? Should we offer
him thousands of rams and ten thousand rivers of olive oil? Should we
sacrifice our firstborn children to pay for our sins? No, O people, the Lord has
told you what is good, and this is what he requires of you: to do what is right,
to love mercy, and to walk humbly with your God. (Micah 6:6)

3. In the same way, their idols have induced many of the pagans to kill their own
children, bringing them ruin and confusion in their faith: if God had willed
otherwise they would not have done this, so [Prophet] leave them to their own
devices. (Quran 6:137)

Never worship the LORD your God in the way they worship their gods,
because everything they do for their gods is disgusting to the LORD. He hates
it! They even burn their sons and daughters as sacrifices to their gods.
(Deuteronomy 12:31) and I let them offer me unacceptable sacrifices,
including their first-born sons. I did this to horrify them and to let them know
that I, the LORD, was punishing them. (Ezekiel 20:26)

Warning:
Those who took partners (in worship) with Allah will say: "If Allah had willed, we
would not have taken partners (in worship) with Him, nor would our fathers, and we
would not have forbidden anything (against His Will)." Likewise belied those who

Engr. Baba @bamagaj

50

were before them, (they argued falsely with Allah's Messengers), till they tasted of
Our Wrath. Say: "Have you any knowledge (proof) that you can produce before us?
Verily, you follow nothing but guess and you do nothing but lie." (Quran 6:148)

And those who join others in worship with Allah say: "If Allah had so willed, neither
we nor our fathers would have worshipped aught but Him, nor would we have
forbidden anything without (Command from) Him." So did those before them. Then!
Are the Messengers charged with anything but to convey clearly the Message? (16:35)

Signs of Pagan (Idolaters) continues:

4. And they worship other than Allah that which neither harms them nor benefits
them, and they say, "These are our intercessors with Allah" Say, "Do you inform
Allah of something He does not know in the heavens or on the earth?" Exalted is
He and high above what they associate with Him. (Quran 10:18)
"What benefit is there in a carved idol when its maker has carved it? What
benefit is there in a molded statue, a teacher of lies, when its maker has
molded it? The one who formed it trusts himself to make worthless idols that
cannot speak. (Habakkuk 2:18)

5. When harm touches them, they cry sincerely only to their Lord (Allah), turning
to Him in repentance, but when He gives them a taste of His Mercy, behold they
associate partners in worship with their Lord. (30:33)

When you cry out for help, let your idols help you! The wind blows them all
away, a breeze carries them away. But the one who looks to me for help will
inherit the land and will have access to my holy mountain." (Isaiah 57:13)

Engr. Baba @bamagaj

51

6. When they board a ship, they supplicate Allah, sincere to Him in religion. But
when He delivers them to the land, at once they associate others with Him
(Quran 29:65)

"Go and cry out to the gods which you have chosen; let them deliver you in
the time of your distress." (Judges 10:14)

Therefore:
[Adhere to it], turning in repentance to Him, and fear Him and establish prayer and do
not be of those who associate others with Allah. [Or] of those who have divided their
religion and become sects, every faction rejoicing in what it has. (Quran 30:31)

(Last sign of pagan –idolater):

7. They follow not the laws of Allah: Or have they partners with Allah (false
gods), who have instituted for them a religion which Allah has not allowed.
And had it not been for a decisive Word (gone forth already), the matter
would have been judged between them. And verily, for the Zalimun
(polytheists and wrong-doers), there is a painful torment. (Quran 42:21)

But worship only the LORD, who brought you out of Egypt with great
strength and a powerful arm. Bow down (do Salah) to him alone, and offer
sacrifices (as in Eid al-Adha) only to him. (2 Kings 17:36)
The people must no longer be unfaithful to the Lord by offering sacrifices to
the goat idols. This is a permanent law for them, to be observed from
generation to generation. (Lev 17:7)

Note:
That (certain) men of the humankind used to take refuge with (certain) men of
the jinn (demons); so they increased them in oppression. (Quran 72:6)

Engr. Baba @bamagaj

52

Prayer:
"Our Lord! You comprehend all things in mercy and knowledge, so forgive those
who repent and follow Your Way, and save them from the torment of the blazing
Fire! (Quran 40:7)

6.8 THE REST OF HELL-FIRE DWELLERS:

1. As for those who break the covenant of Allah after firmly confirming it,
who cut asunder the ties that Allah has commanded to be joined, and who
create corruption in the land: Allah's curse shall be upon them and theirs
shall be a wretched abode (in the Hereafter). (Quran 13:25)

For they did not keep the covenant of God and they did not choose to walk in
his Law. (Psalm 78:10)

2. But he who says to his parents: "Fie upon you both! Do you hold out the
promise to me that I shall be raised up (again) when generations before me
have passed away (without rising)?" While they (father and mother)
invoke Allah for help (and rebuke their son): "Woe to you! Believe! Verily,
the Promise of Allah is true." But he says: "This is nothing but the tales of
the ancient." (Quran 46:17)

Listen to your father since you are his son, and do not despise your mother
because she is old. (Proverbs 23:22)
Never speak harshly to an older man, but appeal to him respectfully as you
would to your own father. Talk to younger men as you would to your own
brothers. Treat older women as you would your mother, and treat younger
women with all purity as you would your own sisters. (1 Timothy 5:1-2)

Engr. Baba @bamagaj

53

Allah (the Most High) knows it all better. You should note that:

Of no effect is the repentance of those who continue to do evil, until death faces
one of them, and he says, "Now have I repented indeed;" nor of those who die
rejecting (Islamic) Faith: for them have We prepared a punishment most
grievous.
(Quran 4:18)

CHAPTER SEVEN

ABOUT HELL-FIRE: RACING TO ITS STATIONS, ENTERING THE

HELFIRE, TOMENTS IN THE HELL-FIRE ETC.

7.0 RACING TOWARD THE HELL-FIRE:

Do you not see that We have sent the devils upon the disbelievers, inciting them to
[evil] with [constant] incitement? There is no need for you to be impatient concerning
them: We are counting down their [allotted] time. ˹Watch for˺ the Day We will
gather the righteous before (Allah) the Most Compassionate as an honoured
delegation, and (We) will drive the sinners towards the Jahannam (Hellfire) as
herds of cattle (are driven) towards water… (19:83-)

"You can enter God's Kingdom only through the narrow gate. The highway to hell is
broad, and its gate is wide for the many who choose that way. (Matthew 7:13)
"Keep on struggling to enter through the narrow door, because I tell you that many
people will try to enter, but won't be able to do so. (Luke 13:24)

7.0.1 Racing to the station of Jaheem hellfire:

In chapter five (The day of Recompense), we have discussed the racing of Jaheem
dwellers to the station at its path. Fujjar (sinners) will be stopped at the path of Jaheem
Hellfire, in the Day when they will (all) come out, nothing of them will be hidden
from Allah. They will be asked: “Whose is the kingdom this Day?” …
And they will be set before your Lord in (lines as) rows, (and Allah will say):
"Now indeed, you have come to Us as We created you the first time. Nay, but you
thought that We had appointed no meeting for you (with Us)." (18:48)

Engr. Baba @bamagaj

55

For there are many rebellious people, idle talkers, and deceivers, especially those
with Jewish connections, (Titus 1:10)

Then they will be asked: "What is the matter with you? Why do you not help one
another (as you used to do in the world)?" (37:25) Nay, but that Day they shall
surrender!
But why not call on these gods you have made? When trouble comes, let them save
you if they can! For you have as many gods as there are towns in Judah.
(Jeremiah 2:28)
7.0.2 Racing to the station of Sa’eer hellfire:
Sa’eer companions will be violently guided to the station at its path. When the
(Sa’eer) Hellfire sees them from a distant place, they will hear its fury and
roaring (25:12). They will be asked: “Were not Our verses recited to you, but you
were arrogant and became a people of criminals? And when it was said, 'Indeed, the
promise of Allah is truth and the Hour [is coming] - no doubt about it,' you said, 'We
know not what is the Hour. We assume only assumption, and we are not convinced.'"
And the evil consequences of what they did will appear to them, and they will be
enveloped by what they used to ridicule. And it will be said, "Today We will
forget you as you forgot the meeting of this Day of yours, and your refuge is the
Fire, and for you there are no helpers. (45:31-35)

Engr. Baba @bamagaj

56

How often have we sinned and turned against you, the LORD God? Our sins
condemn us! We have done wrong. (Isaiah 59:12)

Thereafter, they will be caught, dressed, tied in pairs, and thrown to a narrow place
closer to the Sa’eer Hellfire. And when they are tossed into a narrow place inside
˹Hell˺, chained together, then and there they will cry out for ˹instant˺ destruction.
[They will be told], "Do not cry this Day for one destruction but cry for much
destruction." (25:13)
Satan (Devil) and his party are the dwellers of Sa’eer hellfire, as seen in the table
above. He (Satan) is the first Sa’eer dweller that will be dressed with the punishment
cloth of the hellfire. He (Satan) will call for destruction and the members of his party
repeat after him.

That's why I said, "Leave me alone to weep; do not try to comfort me. Let me cry
for my people as I watch them being destroyed." (Isaiah 22:4)

Warning:
Surely Ash-Shaytan (The Ever-Vicious, i.e., the devil) is an enemy to you, so take him
to yourselves for an enemy. Surely he calls his party only that they may be among the
companions (i.e. inhabitants) of the Blaze. (35:6).
Ash-Shaytan (The Devil) has gained a privilege over them; so he caused them to
forget the Remembrance of Allah; those are Ash-Shaytan's party. Verily, Ash-
Shaytan's party are (they) surely they, who are the losers! (58:19)
And whoever is blinded from remembrance of the Most Merciful - We appoint for him
a devil, and he is to him a companion. (43:36)

And Satan will say when the matter has been concluded, "Indeed, Allah had
promised you the promise of truth. And I promised you, but I betrayed you. But I
had no authority over you except that I invited you, and you responded to me. So

Engr. Baba @bamagaj

57

do not blame me; but blame yourselves. I cannot be called to your aid, nor can
you be called to my aid. Indeed, I deny your association of me [with Allah]
before. Indeed, for the wrongdoers is a painful punishment." (14:22).

But evil people and phony preachers will go from bad to worse as they mislead
people and are themselves misled. (2 Timothy 3:13)

7.0.3 Racing to the station of Laza hell-fire

Most of Laza dwellers followed their Satan friend (during their worldly life). They are
those who forget to remember Allah and forget to pray As-Salat in its time (because
they were busy watching football marches etc.). So woe unto those performers of
Salat (prayers) (hypocrites), Who delay their Salat (prayer) from their stated
fixed times, Those who do good deeds only to be seen (of men), And refuse Al-
Ma'un (small kindnesses e.g. salt, sugar, water, etc.) (107:4-)

You people aren't faithful to God! Don't you know if you love the world, you are
God's enemies? And if you decide to be a friend of the world, you make yourself an
enemy of God. (James 4:4)

If these friends arrived the Laza station, one will say (to his Satan friend): “I wish you
were as distant from me as the east is from the west! What an evil associate ˹you
were˺!” (43:38) His [devil] companion will say, "Our Lord, I did not make him
transgress, but he [himself] was in extreme error." [Allah] will say, "Do not
dispute before Me, while I had already presented to you the warning. The word
will not be changed with Me, and never will I be unjust to the servants."
(50:27-29)
It will profit you not this Day (O you who turn away from Allah's remembrance
and His worship, etc.) as you did wrong, (and) that you will be sharers (you and
your Qarin) in the punishment. (43:39)

Engr. Baba @bamagaj

58

7.0.4 Racing to the station of Haawuyah hellfire.

The racing before reaching the station of Hawuyah is the same (as racing before
reaching other hell stations). At Haawuyah hellfire station, you shall see Mushrikun
(idolaters), killers, and magician –men and Jinn (demons) humbled!
And on the Day when He (Allah) will gather them (all) together (and say): "O
you assembly of jinns (demons)! Many did you mislead of men," and their
Auliya' (friends and helpers, etc.) amongst men will say: "Our Lord! We
benefited one from the other, but now we have reached our appointed term
which You did appoint for us." He will say: "The Fire be your dwelling-place,
you will dwell therein forever, except as Allah may will. Certainly your Lord is
All-Wise, All-Knowing." (6:128)

Now the Spirit expressly says that in later times some will depart from the faith
(monotheism) by devoting themselves to deceitful spirits (Wali –helper, protector)
and teachings of demons (Jinn), (1 Timothy 4:1)

7.0.5 Racing to the station of Hutamah hell-fire

Those who shall enter Hellfire through the gate of Hutamah will be stationed before
the gate and questioned:
O you assembly of jinns (demons) and mankind! "Did not there come to you
Messengers from amongst you, reciting unto you My Verses and warning you of
the meeting of this Day of yours?" They will say: "We bear witness against
ourselves."
It was the life of this world that deceived them. And they will bear witness against
themselves that they were disbelievers. (Quran 6:130)

LORD, you are my strength and fortress, my refuge in the day of trouble! Nations
from around the world will come to you and say, "Our ancestors left us a foolish
heritage (of polytheism), for they worshiped worthless idols. (Jeremiah 16:19)

Engr. Baba @bamagaj

59

7.0.6 Racing to the station of Jahannam hell-fire

Verily, the Mujrimun (criminals, sinners, disbelievers, etc.) will be in the torment
of Jahannam Hell to abide therein forever. (43:74)

Visit her, and you will never find the road to life again. (Proverbs 2:19)

At the station;

And if you only could see when the Mujrimun (criminals, polytheists, sinners,
etc.) shall hang their heads before their Lord (saying): "Our Lord! We have now
seen and heard (the storm of Jahannam hellfire), so send us back (to the world),
we will do righteous good deeds. Verily! We now believe with certainty." (32:12)

Warning:
And whomsoever Allah sends astray, for him there is no Wali (protector) after Him.
And you will see the Zalimun (polytheists, wrong-doers, oppressors, etc.) when they
behold the torment, they will say: "Is there any way of return (to the world)?" (42:44)

7.0.7 Racing to the station of Saqar hell-fire

Saqar hellfire is for those who plot iniquities and plot against Muslims, those that
transgress in this world. Among them is the Walid ibn al-Mughirah –the chief of the
Banu Makhzum clan of the Quraysh tribe – for he contemplated and determined ˹a
degrading label for the Quran˺…, Then turned his back ˹on the truth˺ and acted
arrogantly, saying, “This ˹Quran˺ is nothing but magic from the ancients. This is
no more than the word of a man.”
Soon I will burn him in Saqar Hell! (Quran 74:18-26)

"I, the LORD, will punish the world for its evil (against Muslims & Quran) and the
wicked for their sin. I will crush the arrogance of the proud and humble the pride of
the mighty. (Isaiah 13:11)

Engr. Baba @bamagaj

60

And those who disbelieve say: "We believe not in this Quran nor in that which was
before it," but if you could see when the Zalimun (polytheists and wrongdoers, etc.)
will be made to stand before their Lord, how they will cast the (blaming) word one to
another! Those who were deemed weak will say to those who were arrogant: "Had it
not been for you, we should certainly have been believers!" And those who were
arrogant will say to those who were deemed weak: "Did we keep you back from
guidance after it had come to you? Nay, but you were Mujrimun (polytheists, sinners,
criminals, disobedient to Allah, etc.). Those who were deemed weak will say to those
who were arrogant: "Nay, but it was your plotting by night and day, when you ordered
us to disbelieve in Allah and set up rivals to Him!" And each of them (parties) will
conceal their own regrets (for disobeying Allah during this worldly life), when they
behold the torment. And We shall put iron collars round the necks of those who
disbelieved. Are they requited aught except what they used to do? (Quran 34:31-33)

I warn you today that if you forget the LORD your God and follow other gods, and if
you serve them and bow down to them (as you do in Salah), you will certainly be
destroyed. (Deuteronomy 8:19)

Therefore (Warning):
Whoever desires honour [through power] - then to Allah belongs all honour. To Him
ascends good speech, and righteous work raises it. But they who plot evil deeds will
have a severe punishment, and the plotting of those - it will perish. (35:10)

Remember that it is the LORD your God who gives you the power to become rich.
He does this because he is still faithful today to the covenant that he made with
your ancestors. (Deuteronomy 8:18)

Engr. Baba @bamagaj

61

7.1 ENTERING THE HELL-FIRE:

It was observed, recently, that all the dwellers of Hell that shall be entered through any
gate will be stopped over the (Sirat) path and questioned. Sirat path shall be a
NARROW path over the hell towards the paradise. Whoever will go to Jannah
(paradise) should cross over the Sirat path. There is not one of you but shall pass by
Hell. This is a decree which your Lord will fulfil. (19:71)

"You can enter God's Kingdom only through the NARROW gate. The highway to hell
is broad, and its gate is wide for the many who choose that way. (Matthew 7:13)

The speed by which one shall pass over (the narrow path of) the Hell differs from
person to person. One will pass as the twinkling of an eye (seeing lightning),
descending to the person that shall pass by normal walking.

"Keep on struggling to enter through the narrow door, because I tell you that many
people will try to enter, but won't be able to do so. (Luke 13:24)

It was reported that when male and female believers shall be passing the (stations of)
hypocrites over the Sirat (narrow path), you will see lights shining forth before them
and on their right hands. On the same Day, the hypocrites, both men and women,
will say to the believers, ‘Wait for us! Let us have some of your light!’ They will
be told, ‘Go back and look for a light.’ A wall with a door (as air-conditioner) will
be erected between them: inside it lies mercy, outside lies torment. (57:12-13)

Fig 7.1 An example of a wall: inside it lies mercy, outside lies torment.

Engr. Baba @bamagaj

62

7.1.1 Entering the Jaheem hell-fire:

From the station of Jaheem hellfire, after answering questions, one by one;
[Allah will say], "Seize him and shackle him. Then into Jaheem Hell-fire drive
him. Then into a chain whose length is seventy cubits insert him." (69:30-32)

The Sovereign LORD has sworn this by his holiness: "The time will come when you
will be led away with hooks in your noses. Every last one of you will be dragged
away like a fish on a hook! (Amos 4:2)

Then the idols will be hurled headlong into Hell, along with the deviant, And the
whole hosts of Iblis (Satan) together. (26:94)

and the Devil, who is leading them astray, was cast into the lake of fire and
brimstone, where are the beast and the false prophet (Dajjal- One eyed man) -, and
they shall be tormented day and night -- to the ages of the ages. (Revelation 20:10)

7.1.2 Entering Jahannam through the main gate:

At the station of Jahannam hellfire, (It will be said): “Criminals, separate yourselves
from others today! (36:59). they will be separated into three groups.

The first group will be pushed down by force to the Fire of Hell, with a horrible,
forceful pushing (52:13). (And it will be said to them,) “This is the Fire you used to
deny. Is this, then, any feat of magic or are you unable to see? (Quran 52:14)
Did I not enjoin upon you, O children of Adam, that you not worship Satan -
[for] indeed, he is to you a clear enemy - And that you worship [only] Me? This is
a straight path. And indeed he (Satan) did lead astray a great multitude of you.
Did you not, then, understand?
(Now) this is the Jahannam (Hell) of which you were consistently warned. [Enter
to] burn therein today for what you used to deny." (Quran 36:60)

Engr. Baba @bamagaj

63

Roast in it! So (endure) patiently (in it) or do not (endure) patiently, equal it is to
you! Surely you are only being recompensed for whatever you were doing."
(Quran 52:16)

The second group denied their bad deeds (final result), then; This Day, We shall seal
up their mouths, and their hands will speak to Us, and their legs will bear witness
to what they used to earn. (It is said that one's left thigh will be the first to bear
the witness). If We so will, We would wipe out their eyes (right here in this
world), and they would be racing towards the way, but how would they see?
(Quran 36:65).

The tongue is that kind of flame. It is a world of evil among the parts of our bodies,
and it completely contaminates our bodies. The tongue sets our lives on fire, and is
itself set on fire from hell. (James 3:6)

Thereafter, after their body parts testified against them, they will be pushed into
Jahannam hellfire as the pushing of the first group.

The last group (of infidels) in the station of Jahannam hell waiting, [Allah will say],
"Throw into Jahannam Hell every obstinate disbeliever, Preventer of good,
aggressor, and doubter. (Quran 50:24)

When they are thrown into it, they hear from it a [dreadful] inhaling while it
boils up. It almost bursts with rage. Every time a company is thrown into it, its
keepers ask them, "Did there not come to you a (messenger) warner?" They will
say," Yes, a warner had come to us, but we denied and said, 'Allah has not sent
down anything. You are not but in great error.'” (Quran 67:7-9).

Look here, you rich people (that prevent good): Weep and groan with anguish
because of all the terrible troubles ahead of you. (James 5:1)

Engr. Baba @bamagaj

64

Warning:
So by your Lord, We will surely gather them and the devils; then We will bring them
to be present around Hell upon their knees. Then We will surely extract from every
sect those of them who were worst against the Most Merciful in insolence. Then,
surely it is We who are most knowing of those most worthy of burning therein.
(Quran 19:68-)

7.1.3 Entering the Saqar hell-fire:

The command will be given together "Throw into Jahannam Hell every obstinate
disbeliever, Preventer of good, aggressor, and doubter.
Who made [as equal] with Allah another deity; then throw him into the severe
punishment." (Quran 50:24-26)
The severe punishment is the punishment of Saqar hellfire (Allah Aalamu).

Whoever worship an Angel or any messenger (Prophet) and made him as equal with
God (Allah) will be thrown into the Saqar hellfire. It is not for a human [prophet]
that Allah should give him the Scripture and authority and prophethood and
then he would say to the people, "Be servants to me rather than Allah," but
[instead, he would say], "Be pious scholars of the Lord because of what you have
taught of the Scripture and because of what you have studied." Nor could he
order you to take the angels and prophets as lords. Would he order you to
disbelief after you had devoted yourselves to God? (Quran 3:79-80)

I fell down at his feet to worship him, but he (the angel) said to me, "Don't do it! I
am a servant together with you and with other believers (everyone else who tells
the truth about Jesus –(CEV)), all those who hold to the truth that Jesus revealed.
Worship God!" For the truth (monotheism) that Jesus revealed is what inspires the
prophets. (Revelation 19:10)

Engr. Baba @bamagaj

65

7.1.4 Entering the Sa’eer hell-fire.

Indeed, those who unjustly consume orphans’ wealth ˹in fact˺ consume nothing
but fire into their bellies. And they will be burned in a blazing (Sa’eer) Hell!
(4:10) They will be pushed into the Sa’eer Hell. If they enter, they will say, "If only
we had been listening or reasoning, we would not be among the companions of
the Blaze." And they will admit their sin, so [it is] alienation for the companions
of the Blaze. (67:10)
Sa’eer inhabitants (Zalimun) will be heard saying “Is there any way back ˹to the
world˺?” And you will see them exposed to the Fire, fully humbled out of disgrace,
stealing glances ˹at it˺. And the believers will say, “The ˹true˺ losers are those
who have lost themselves and their families on Judgment Day.” The wrongdoers
will certainly be in everlasting torment. (Quran 42:44-)

"There is no peace for the wicked," says the LORD. (Isaiah 48:22)

7.1.5 Entering the Haawuyah hellfire.

And [mention, O Muhammad], the Day when the enemies of Allah will be gathered to
the Fire while they are [driven] assembled in rows, Until, when they reach it, their
hearing and their eyes and their skins will testify against them of what they used to do.
And they will say to their skins, "Why have you testified against us?" They will say,
"We were made to speak by Allah, who has made everything speak; and He created
you the first time, and to Him you are returned. And you were not covering
yourselves, lest your hearing testify against you or your sight or your skins, but you
assumed that Allah does not know much of what you do. And that was your
assumption which you assumed about your Lord. It has brought you to ruin, and you
have become among the losers."
So [even] if they are patient, the Fire is a residence for them; and if they ask to
appease [Allah], they will not be of those who are allowed to appease. (41:19-24)

Engr. Baba @bamagaj

66

If your eye causes you to sin, tear it out! It is better to enter into the kingdom of
God with one eye than to have two eyes and be thrown into hell, (Mark 9:47)

And if your hand causes you to sin, cut it off. It is better for you to enter life
crippled than with two hands to go to hell, to the unquenchable fire. (Mark 9:43)

If your foot causes you to sin, cut it off. It's better to enter eternal life with only
one foot than to be thrown into hell with two feet. (Mark 9:45)

Warning:
Tell the believing men to reduce [some] of their vision and guard their private parts.
That is purer for them. Indeed, Allah is Acquainted with what they do.
And tell the believing women to reduce [some] of their vision and guard their private
parts and not expose their adornment except that which [necessarily] appears thereof
and to wrap [a portion of] their headcovers over their chests and not expose their
adornment except to their husbands, their fathers, their husbands' fathers, their sons,
their husbands' sons, their brothers, their brothers' sons, their sisters' sons, their
women, that which their right hands possess, or those male attendants having no
physical desire, or children who are not yet aware of the private aspects of women.
And let them not stamp their feet to make known what they conceal of their
adornment. And turn to Allah in repentance, all of you, O believers, that you might
succeed. (Quran 24:30-31)

7.1.6 Entering the Hutamah hell-fire.

˹Watch for˺ the Day ˹when˺ the disbelievers will be exposed to the Fire. ˹They will
be told,˺ “You ˹already˺ exhausted your ˹share of˺ pleasures during your worldly
life, and ˹fully˺ enjoyed them. So Today you will be rewarded with the torment of
disgrace for your arrogance throughout the land with no right, and for your
rebelliousness.” (46:20)

Engr. Baba @bamagaj

67

"I, the LORD, will punish the world for its evil and the wicked for their sin. I will
crush the arrogance of the proud and humble the pride of the mighty. (Isaiah 13:11)

7.1.7 Entering the Laza hell-fire.

And if you could see when they are terrified but there is no escape, and they will be
seized from a place nearby. And they will [then] say, "We believe in it!" But how for
them will be the taking [of faith] from a place far away? And they had already
disbelieved in it before and would assault the unseen from a place far away. And
prevention will be placed between them and what they desire, as was done with their
kind before. Indeed, they were in disquieting denial. (34:51-)

Warning:
˹Beware of˺ the Day We will ask Hell, “Are you full ˹yet˺?” And it will respond, “Are
there any more?” (Quran 50:30)

"There are three things that are never satisfied, four that never say, 'Enough!': the
grave, the barren womb, land, which is never satisfied with water, and fire, which
never says, 'Enough!' (Proverbs 30:16)

And if we had willed, We could have given every soul its guidance, but the word from
Me will come into effect [that] "I will surely fill Hell with jinn (demons) and people
all together. (Quran 32:13)

O you who have believed, protect yourselves and your families from a Fire whose
fuel is people and stones, over which are [appointed] angels, harsh and severe;
they do not disobey Allah in what He commands them but do what they are
commanded. (66:6) … fear the Fire, whose fuel is men and stones, prepared for
the disbelievers. (2:24)

7.2 SOME TORMENTS IN THE HELL –THE DEADLY SURVIVAL:

The common torment in the seven sections of the Hellfire (Jahannam) is the torment
of burning fire, even though the fires have different characteristics. Below are some of
the torments in the sections of Jahannam.

7.2.1 Some torments in the Jahannam hellfire:

The chastisement of Jahannam Hell awaits those who disbelieve in their Lord.
What a wretched destination! When they will be cast into it, they will hear it roar
as it boils, as though it will burst with rage. Every time a multitude is cast into it,
its keepers will ask them: “Did no warner come to you?” They will say: “Yes, a
warner came to us, but we gave the lie to him and said: 'Allah has revealed
nothing. You are surely in huge error.'(67:6-9)

Jahannam Hell is built (Allah knows it better) roundly like a swimming pool! A
circular swimming pool beached by (a heat conducting) track. The water of
(Jahannam) pool is being heated enough, thus evaporating superheated steam.
Disbelievers will be forced to circumambulate the Jahannam pool so that they must
taste the torment of steam burning. They must keep moving… infinitely! Shortly:

This is Jahannam (Hell) that the guilty people deny. They will circle around
between it and scalding water, heated [to the utmost degree]. (57:43-44)

Fig 7.2 The Jahannam Hell (an example)

“But to the timid, the unbelievers, the evil, the defiled, murderers, sorcerers,
fornicators, idol worshipers and all liars: their part is in the burning Lake of Fire and
Brimstone, which is the second death.” (Revelation 21:8)

Engr. Baba @bamagaj

69

As they keep moving around the scalding pool, the pressure of the boiling water shall
rise excessively and vehemently the pool will burst thus turning into a volcano!
Samura b. Jundub reported Allah's Apostle (may peace be upon him) as saying: There
will be some to whose ankles the fire will reach, some to whose knees, some to
whose waist the fire will reach, and some to whose collar-bone the fire will reach.
(Sahih Muslim Book 40 Hadith 6815)

But those whose scales are light - those are the ones who have lost their souls, [being]
in Jahannam Hell, abiding eternally. The Fire will burn their faces, and therein they
will grin, with displaced lips (disfigured). [It will be said]. "Were not My (Quran)
verses recited to you and you used to deny them?" They will say, "Our Lord, our
wretchedness overcame us, and we were a people astray. Our Lord, remove us from it,
and if we were to return [to evil], we would indeed be wrongdoers." He (Allah) will
say, "Remain despised therein and do not speak to Me.
Indeed, there was a party of My servants who said, 'Our Lord, we have believed, so
forgive us and have mercy upon us, and You are the best of the merciful.' But you
took them in mockery to the point that they made you forget My remembrance, and
you used to laugh at them. Indeed, I have rewarded them this Day for their patient
endurance - that they are the attainers [of success]." (23:103-111)

Warning:
Woe, then, on that Day to those who give the lie (to this Message), That play (and
paddle) in shallow trifles. The Day they are thrust toward the fire of Jahannam Hell
with a [violent] thrust. [its angels will say], "This is the Fire which you used to deny.
(52:11-14).
And do not marry polytheistic women until they believe. And a believing slave
woman is better than a polytheist, even though she might please you. And do not
marry polytheistic men [to your women] until they believe. And a believing slave is
better than a polytheist, even though he might please you. Those invite [you] to the

Fire, but Allah invites to Paradise and to forgiveness, by His permission. And He
makes clear His verses to the people that perhaps they may remember. (2:221)

Never marry any of them. Never let your daughters marry their sons or your sons
marry their daughters. These (polytheistic) people will turn your children away
from Me (Allah) to worship other gods. Then the LORD will get very angry with you
and will quickly destroy you. But this is what you must do to these (polytheistic)
people: Tear down their altars, smash their sacred stones, cut down their poles
dedicated to the goddess Asherah, and burn their idols. (Deuteronomy 7:3-5)

Thirdly, a smoke worst than teargas will be blown over the dwellers of Jahannam Hell:
There will be sent upon you a flame of fire and smoke, and you will not defend
yourselves (with gasmask etc.). Then to whichever of your Lord's boons do you
(both) cry lies? (55:35)

The smoke of their torment will rise forever and ever, and they will have no relief
day or night, for they have worshiped the beast and his statue and have accepted
the mark of his name." (i.e. ‫ ك ف ر‬meaning: disbeliever) (Revelation 14:11)

Something like ignited carpet will be spread over Jahannam Hell track –over the route
on which its members circumambulate–and a roofing set with flames will be used to
cover them:

Theirs will be a bed of Hell (Fire), and over them coverings (of Hell-fire). Thus do
We recompense the Zalimun (polytheists and wrong-doers, etc.). (7:41)

Warning:
They urge you to hasten the punishment. And Hell will certainly encompass the
disbelievers. On the Day the punishment will cover them from above them and from
below their feet and it is said, "Taste [the result of] what you used to do."

71

O My servants who have believed, indeed My earth is spacious, so worship only Me.
Every soul will taste death. Then to Us will you be returned. (29:54-)

Similarly, the torment in Jahannam Hell to every obstinate, arrogant dictator will be
the punishment of drinking festering water. He will sip it unwillingly, and he will
find a great difficulty to swallow it down his throat, and death will come to him
from every side, yet he will not die and in front of him, will be a great torment.
(14:15-17)

he also shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is prepared unmixed in
the cup of his anger; and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the
presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb: (Revelation 14:10)

As for the disbelievers, they will have the Fire of Hell, where they will not be ˹allowed
to be˺ finished by death, nor will its torment be lightened for them. This is how We
reward every ˹stubborn˺ disbeliever. There they will be ˹fervently˺ screaming, “Our
Lord! Take us out ˹and send us back˺. We will do good, unlike what we used to do.”
˹They will be told,˺ “Did We not give you lives long enough so that whoever wanted
to be mindful could have done so, And the warner came to you? So taste ˹the
punishment˺, for the wrongdoers have no helper.” (35:36-38)

Prayer:

“Our Lord, avert from us the punishment of Jahannam (the Hell); indeed, its
punishment is a persisting affliction.” Indeed, it is evil as an abode and a place to
dwell in. (25:65-)

72

7.2.2 Some torments in the Jaheem hell-fire:

On the Day of recompense (Yaum Deen), dwellers of Jaheem Hell will be Seized and
shackled, then thrown (or pushed) into the Jaheem Hellfire. They will be inserted into
a chain whose length is seventy cubits and tied. (see Quran: 69:30-32) Then they will
be thrown on their faces into the (Fire), they and the Ghawun (those who were in
error). And the whole hosts of Iblis (Satan) together. (26:94)

Thereafter, surely you, you erring ones, the beliers, will certainly eat from ˹the
fruit of˺ Zaqqûm, filling up ˹your˺ bellies with it. Then on top of that you will
drink boiling water— So you will be drinking (like) the drinking of diseased
camels wandering with thirst."
Such will be their welcome on the Day of Recompense! (56:51-56)

Warning:
Is Paradise a better accommodation or the tree of Zaqqum? Indeed, We have made it a
torment for the wrongdoers. Indeed, it is a tree issuing from the bottom of the Jaheem
Hellfire. Its emerging fruit as if it was heads of the devils. (The people of Jaheem
Hell) will surely eat of it, filling their bellies with it. Thereafter on top of it surely they
will have indeed an admixture of scalding (water). (37:62-)
Surely ˹the fruit of˺ the tree of Zaqqûm, will be the food of the evildoer. Like molten
metal (or boiling oil), it will boil in the bellies, like the boiling of hot water.

You can tell what a tree is like by the fruit it produces. You cannot pick figs or
grapes from thornbushes. (Luke 6:44)

Thereafter, (It will be said to angels,) “Seize him, and drag him into the midst of the
Jaheem Hell. Then pour scalding water over his head as punishment!’ "Taste you
(this)! Verily, you were (pretending to be) the mighty, the generous! Surely this is
what you used to wrangle about." (44:43-)

"But woe to you who are rich, for you are receiving your comfort in full. (Luke 6:24)

Engr. Baba @bamagaj

73

Prayer:
"Our Lord! Give us in this world that which is good and in the Hereafter that
which is good, and save us from the torment of the Fire!" (2:201)

7.2.3 Some torments in the Sa’eer hell-fire:

Surely Allah has cursed the unbelievers and has prepared for them a burning Sa’eer
fire. Abiding therein forever, they will not find a protector or a helper. On the Day
their faces are ˹constantly˺ flipped in the Fire, they will cry, “Oh! If only we had
obeyed Allah and obeyed the Messenger!” They will say: “Our Lord, we obeyed our
chiefs and our great ones, and they turned us away from the Right Way. Our Lord!
Give them double ˹our˺ punishment, and condemn them tremendously.” (33:65-68)

And they will lament, “If only we had listened and reasoned, we would not be
among the residents of the Sa’eer (Blaze)!” So they confess their guilty (deeds);
then far off with the companions (i.e. inhabitants) of the Sa’eer! (67:10)

How often have we sinned and turned against you, the LORD God? Our sins
condemn us! We have done wrong. (Isaiah 59:12)
Your own mouth condemns you, not mine; your own lips testify against you.
(Job 15:6)

Warning:
O you who have believed, be not like those who abused Moses; then Allah cleared
him of what they said. And he, in the sight of Allah, was distinguished. O you who
have believed, fear Allah and speak words of appropriate justice. He will [then] amend
for you your deeds and forgive you your sins. And whoever obeys Allah and His
Messenger has certainly attained a great attainment. (33:69-71)

74

7.2.4 Some torments in Saqar hell-fire:

The torments in Saqar is extra destructive! A tunnel linking to the deadly furnace will
be open directly to the Saqar dwellers. Until, when We open for them the gate of
severe punishment, then lo! They will be plunged into destruction with deep
regrets, sorrows and in despair. (23:77)

He sends down flaming coals and burning sulfur on the wicked; he punishes them
with scorching winds. (Psalm 11:6)

Warning:
And We have already sent [messengers] to nations before you, [O Muhammad]; then
We seized them with poverty and hardship that perhaps they might humble themselves
[to Us]. Then why, when Our punishment came to them, did they not humble
themselves? But their hearts became hardened, and Satan made attractive to them that
which they were doing. So, when they forgot (the warning) with which they had been
reminded, We opened to them the gates of every (pleasant) thing, until in the midst of
their enjoyment in that which they were given, all of a sudden, We took them to
punishment, and lo! They were plunged into destruction with deep regrets and
sorrows. (6:42-44)

O God, I beg two favors from you; let me have them before I die. First, help me
never to tell a lie. Second, give me neither poverty nor riches! Give me just enough
to satisfy my needs. For if I grow rich, I may deny you and say, “Who is the Lord?”
And if I am too poor, I may steal and thus insult God’s holy name. (Proverbs 30:7-9)

7.2.5 Some torments in Laza hell-fire:

The water in Laza is heated beyond boiling point! Like molten metal, its vapour will
dissolve the faces of those that shall be forced to drink it.

Engr. Baba @bamagaj

75

Say, ‘Now the truth has come from your Lord: let those who wish to believe in it
do so, and let those who wish to reject it do so.’ We have prepared a Fire for the
wrongdoers that will envelop them from all sides. If they call for relief, they will
be relieved with water like molten metal, scalding their faces. What a terrible
drink! What a painful resting place! (Qur’an 18:29)

May this water enter your stomach and cause it to swell up and your genital organs
to shrink." The woman shall respond, "I agree; may the LORD do so." (Num 5:22)

If you believed that the LORD will make this happen (in this world) why can’t you
believe that dwellers of Laza hell will be relieved with water that will scald their
faces? Repent therefore and be converted (to monotheism), for the blotting out of
your sins, so that times of refreshing may come from [the] presence of the Lord,
(Acts 3:19) I demand your complete loyalty "Do not worship any other god, because
I, the LORD, tolerate no rivals. (Exodus 34:14)

7.2.6 Some torments in Hutamah hell-fire:

Hutamah? It is the fire of Allah, [eternally] fuelled, -kindled to a blaze. The Fire
that shall rise to the hearts (of criminals). (104:6)

And the peoples will be burned (in Hutamah hell fire) as if to ashes; like cut thorn
bushes, they will be set ablaze. (Isaiah 33:12)

Woe to every (kind of) scandal-monger and-backbiter, who amasses wealth ˹greedily˺
and counts it ˹repeatedly˺, He thinks that his wealth will immortalise him forever. Not
at all! Such a person will certainly be tossed into the Crusher (crushing Fire–Hutamah)
(Quran 104:1-)

never to tell a lie. Second, give me neither poverty nor riches! Give me just enough

to satisfy my needs. For if I grow rich, I may deny you and say, “Who is the Lord?”
And if I am too poor, I may steal and thus insult God’s holy name. (Proverbs 30:7-9)

…for the ones who have disbelieved, clothes of fire will be cut up; there will be
poured from above their heads scalding water. Causing (not only) their skins but all
that is in their bellies as well to melt away. In addition, there will be maces of iron (to
punish) them. Whenever they would (try to) go out of it (because) of their suffering,
they will be brought back into it, and (it is said to them), "Taste the torment of the
burning." (22:19-22)

7.2.7 Some torments in Hawuyah hell-fire:

On that day you will see the culprits (in Hawuyah) tied up together in chains,
their garments shall be black as if made out of pitch, and flames of the Fire shall
cover their faces. (14:49)

People will be (as) cremated (when dressed). They will be set on fire like dry
thornbushes. (Isaiah 33:12)

Warning:
[All will be judged] so that God may reward each soul as it deserves: God is swift in
His reckoning. This (Quran) is a Message for mankind (and a clear proof against
them), in order that they may be warned thereby, and that they may know that He is
the only One God (Allah) - (none has the right to be worshipped but Allah), and that
men of understanding may take heed. (14:51-52)

Jesus (himself) replied, "The most important commandment is this: 'Listen, O

Yes, they knew God (the creator), but they wouldn't worship him as God (Allah) or

like. As a result, their minds became dark and confused. (Romans 1:21)

8.0 THE EVERLASTING PARADISE –GARDENS:

Not equal are the dwellers of the Fire and the dwellers of the Paradise. It is the
dwellers of Paradise that will be successful. (59:20)

All the Days that shall be passed- during judgments etc., the dwellers of Paradise will
be stationed in the flowering meadows of the Gardens of Paradise. You will see the
wrongdoers fearful of the consequence of their deeds which will certainly
overtake them. But those who have faith and do good deeds will be in the
meadows of the Gardens, wherein they shall have whatever they desire from their
Lord; that is the great Bounty. (42:22)

8.2 The dimensions of paradise:

Paradise is built huge enough, enclosing the houses of its dwellers! Indeed, Asiyah –
the wife of the first Pharaoh- asked for a house in the Paradise, when she said, “My
Lord, build for me, near You, a house in the Paradise, and deliver me from
Fir’aun (Pharaoh) and his deeds, and deliver me from the unjust people.” (66:11)

The Paradise (site) of Muminun (believers), whose width is like the width of the
heavens and earth, is lower the Paradise of Al-Muttaqin (Pious). The Paradise of Pious
men is seven times the width of lower Paradise, seven times the dimensions of the
globe or larger! As estimated below:

Note that:
For those who fear [the time when they will] stand before their Lord there are
two gardens (In Paradise) (reserved for them). (55:46)

Mu’adh bin Jabal said: “I heard the Messenger of Allah (Peace be upon him) say:
‘Paradise has one hundred grades, each of which is as big as the distance between
heaven and earth…

Therefore:
Race one with another in hastening towards Forgiveness from your Lord (Allah), and
towards Paradise, the width whereof is as the width of heaven and earth, prepared for
those who believe in Allah and His Messengers. That is the Grace of Allah which He
bestows on whom He pleases. And Allah is the Owner of Great Bounty. (57:21)

And march forth in the way (which leads to) forgiveness from your Lord, and for
Paradise as wide as are the heavens and the earth, prepared for Al-Muttaqun (3:133).

8.3 The descriptions of the paradise:

Here is the description of the Paradise promised to the God-fearing: underneath it the
rivers flow; its food is everlasting and (so is) its shade. This is the ultimate abode of
the God-fearing while the ultimate abode of the disbelievers is Fire. (13:35)

The description of the Paradise promised to the righteous is that in it are rivers of
fresh water, rivers of milk that never changes in taste, rivers of wine delicious to
drink, and rivers of pure honey. There they will ˹also˺ have all kinds of fruit, and
forgiveness from their Lord. ˹Can they be˺ like those who will stay in the Fire
forever, left to drink boiling water that will tear apart their insides? (47:15)

Gardens of Eternity, those which (Allah) Most Gracious has promised to His
servants in the Unseen: for His promise must (necessarily) come to pass. They
will not hear therein any ill speech - only [greetings of] peace - and they will have
their provision therein, morning and afternoon. That is the Paradise We will give
as inheritance to those of Our servants who have been God-fearing. (19:61-63)

Mu’adh bin Jabal said: “I heard the Messenger of Allah (Peace be upon him) say:
‘Paradise has one hundred grades, each of which is as big as the distance between
heaven and earth. The highest of them is Firdaws and the best of them is Firdaws. The
Throne is above Firdaws and from it spring forth the rivers of Paradise. If you ask of
Allah, ask Him for Firdaws.’” (Sunan Ibn Majah Book 37 Hadith 4331)

The highest and the best of the eight (sites) of Paradise is the Firdaws. It is at the
highest elevated end of the plateau of the Paradise region, from which springs forth the
river, as shown below:

In the Paradise (site) of As-hab al-Yamin, They will dwell amid thornless lote trees.
And banana-trees (with fruits), one above another. And extended shade, And
water flowing constantly, And fruit, abundant [and varied], Whose season is not
limited, and their supply will not be cut off, And [upon] beds raised high. Indeed,
We have produced the women of Paradise in a [new] creation. And made them
virgins, Devoted [to their husbands] and of equal age, For the companions of the
Right- (56:28-38)

Whereas in the Paradise (site) of As-Salaf (predecessors), you will see them:
On thrones woven with gold and precious stones, Reclining on them, facing each
other. They will be served by immortal boys, With cups, and jugs, and a glass
from the flowing wine, that will cause them neither headache nor intoxication.
˹They will also be served˺ any fruit they choose. and meat from any bird they
desire. And (there will be) Houris (fair females) with wide, lovely eyes (as wives),
beautiful as pearls hidden in their shells. All this shall be theirs as a reward for
their deeds. They will hear neither an absurd talk in it, nor something leading to
sin, But only the saying of: Salam!, Salam! (greetings with peace)! (56:15-26) …

In a lofty Paradise. Wherein they will hear no unsuitable speech. Within it is a

flowing spring. Within it are couches raised high. And cups put in place. And
cushions lined up. and ˹splendid˺ carpets spread out. (88:10-16)

You were in Eden, the garden of God. Your clothing was adorned with every
precious stone--red carnelian, pale-green peridot, white moonstone, blue-green
beryl, onyx, green jasper, blue lapis lazuli, turquoise, and emerald--all beautifully
crafted for you and set in the finest gold. They were given to you on the day you
were created. (Ezekiel 28:13)

Warning:
This is ˹all˺ a reminder. And the righteous will certainly have an honourable
destination: Gardens of perpetual residence, whose doors will be opened to them.
Reclining within them, they will call therein for abundant fruit and drink. And beside
them will be chaste females (virgins) restraining their glances only for their husbands,
(and) of equal ages. This it is what you (Al-Muttaqun - the pious) are promised for the
Day of Reckoning! (It will be said to them)! Verily, this is Our Provision which will
never finish;
This [is so]. But indeed, for the transgressors is an evil place of return - the Jahannam
(Hell), in which they will enter. So, how evil is that place to rest? This is so! Then let
them taste it, a boiling fluid and dirty wound discharges. And other torments of similar
kind, all together! (38:49-)

Whoever is willing (to gain) (this) hasty (world), We (quickly) hasten for him therein
whatever We decide to whomever We will; thereafter We make for him Jahannam
Hell where he will roast, reprobated and (regretfully) rejected. And whoever desires
the Hereafter and strives for it, with the necessary effort due for it (i.e. do righteous
deeds of Allah's Obedience) while he is a believer (in the Oneness of Allah Islamic
Monotheism), then such are the ones whose striving shall be appreciated, thanked and
rewarded (by Allah). To all of them - both these and those - We extend the grants of
your Lord. And the grant of your Lord is not barred (for anyone). See how We have
favoured some over others ˹in this life˺, but the Hereafter is certainly far greater in
rank and in favour. (17:18-22)

8.4 Gentle movement into the Everlasting Paradise:

The Jannah (Paradise) will be brought close for the God-fearing, no longer distant.
(50:31). And those who used to fear their Lord will be led towards Jannah (Paradise)
in groups, until when they reach it, while its gates will be (already) opened (for them),

and its keepers will say to them, “Salāmun-’alaikum (peace be on you). How good are
you! So, enter it to live here forever” (39:73). "Enter it in peace, safe [and secure]."
(15:46).
Open the city gates and let the faithful nation enter, the nation whose people do
what is right. (Isaiah 26:2)

And if they enter the Paradise, They will not hear therein ill speech or commission
of sin - But only the saying of: Salam!, Salam! (greetings with peace)! (56:25-)

Their way of request therein (in the Paradise) will be Subhanaka Allahumma
(Glory to You, O Allah!) and Salam (peace, safe from each and every evil) will be
their greetings therein (Paradise)! and the close of their request will be: Al-
Hamdu Lillahi Rabbil-'Alamin [All the praises and thanks are to Allah, the Lord
of 'Alamin (mankind, jinns and all that exists)]. (10:10)

The Ever-lasting Gardens which they shall enter and so shall the righteous from
among their fathers, and their spouses, and their offspring. And angels shall enter unto
them from every gate, and say: "Peace be upon you, for that you endured patiently."
So favourable is the (Ultimate) Outcome of the Residence! (13:23)

'Abdullah bin Salam (May Allah be pleased with him) reported:

The Prophet (Peace be upon him) said, "O people, promote the greetings (“As-Salam
Alaikum”), feed (the poor and needy) and perform Salat when others are asleep so that
you will enter Jannah (paradise) safely." (Riyad Us Saliheen Book 9 Hadith 176) Also,

The Messenger of Allah (Peace be upon him) said, "By Him in Whose Hand is my
life! You will not enter Jannah until you believe, and you will not believe until you
love one another. Shall I inform you of something which, if you do, you will love one
another? Promote greetings (“As-Salam Alaikum”) amongst yourselves." (Abu
Hurairah (May Allah be pleased with him) reported. (Riyadus Saliheen Book 6 Hadith 4).

When the dwellers of Paradise settled within, Allah will strip away all rancour from
their hearts and they will say: 'All praise be to Allah Who has guided us on to this.
Had it not been for Allah Who granted us guidance, we would not be on the
Right Path. Surely the Messengers of our Lord did indeed come down with
truth.' Then a voice will cry out to them: 'This is the Paradise which you are
made to inherit as a reward for your deeds.' (7:43)

Others dwellers will say: “All praise be to Allah Who has taken away all sorrow from
us. Surely our Lord is Most Forgiving, Most Appreciative; He has, in His bounty,
settled us in the everlasting Home where no toil or fatigue will touch us.’ (35:34-35)

Verily, the dwellers of the Paradise, that Day, will be busy in joyful things. They and
their wives will be in pleasant shade, reclining on thrones. They will have therein
fruits (of all kinds) and all that they ask for. “Salām” (Peace upon you) is the word
(they receive) from Merciful Lord. (36:55)

Warning:
Verily, you (pagans) are going to taste the painful torment; And you will be requited
nothing except for what you used to do (evil deeds, sins, and Allah's disobedience
which you used to do in this world);
Except for the most faithful bondmen of Allah. For them there will be a known
provision (in Paradise). A variety of delicious fruits; and they shall be honoured. In the
Gardens of delight (Paradise), On thrones facing one another. There will be circulated
among them a cup [of wine] from a flowing spring, white, sparkling (wine), a delight
to the drinkers. It will neither harm ˹them˺, nor will they be intoxicated by it. And
besides them will be chaste women, restraining their glances, with big eyes (of wonder
and beauty). (Delicate and pure) as if they were (hidden) eggs (well) preserved.

8.5 Social interaction in the Paradise Garden and the People of La’araf:
There will be social interaction in the Paradise! Actually, each and every dweller of
Paradise shall have his home together with his family and young male servants
(handsome) as Pearls well-guarded. Allocation of houses varies; the most pious men
will have their houses at the uppermost plateau of the Paradise region. Abu Hurairah
narrated that the Prophet (Peace be upon him) said: "Indeed, the people of Paradise
shall see the upper chamber like they see the eastern star, or the western star,
disappearing in the far edge of the sky, or ascending due to the differences in levels."
They said: "Are those the Prophets?" He said: "Yes. By the One in Whose Hand is my
soul, and groups who had faith in Allah and His Messenger, and believed in the
Messengers." (Jami`at-Tirmidhi Book 36 Hadith 2556).

Nevertheless! There will be a common Garden (called “the market of the Paradise”)
that shall be used as a spot of entertainment, meetings and discussions. Dwellers of
Paradise will be descending (as birds) from their homes and meet in the market of
Paradise. Some of the discussions that shall happen at the market of Paradise are as
follows:

8.5.1 First Sitting:

Dwellers of Paradise will descend to market of Paradise, purposely to meet with their
‘friends and loved ones’ and have the pleasure of discussions. Sitting on thrones
woven with gold and precious stones;
They will turn to one another and ask (regarding the past events). ‘When we
were still with our families [on earth] we used to live in fear–– Then Allah graced
us with His favour and saved us from the chastisement of the scorching wind.
Indeed, we used to call upon Him ˹alone˺ before. He is truly the Most Kind, Most
Merciful.” (52:25-28)

He will wipe every tear from their eyes, and there will be no more death or sorrow
or crying or pain. All these things are gone forever." (Revelation 21:4)

Engr. Baba @bamagaj

89

“Indeed, you are right! We are secured in this Paradise. 'All praise be to Allah Who
has guided us on to this”, said his friend. The breeze here cannot be described; see
how it changes and increases our beauty etc.

When they returned back to their houses, their spouses inquire about their new beauty
hence they (spouses) will be pointed that their beauty has also increased.

Prayer:
"Our Lord, You embrace everything in mercy and knowledge; so forgive the
ones who repent and closely follow Your way, and protect them from the torment
of Hell Fire. (40:7)

8.5.2 Second Sitting:

Dwellers of Paradise shall be discussing when meet for the second time;
Then they will turn to each other asking questions mutually. A speaker from
them will say, “I had a companion (in the worldly life). Who used to say: "Are
you among those who believe (in resurrection after death). "(That) when we die
and become dust and bones, shall we indeed (be raised up) to receive reward or
punishment (according to our deeds)?" He (the speaker) will say (to other people
in Paradise market) “Would you like to have a look (at Jahannam to find out
what happened to that companion of mine)?” Then he ˹and the others˺ will look
and spot him in the midst of the Hellfire. He (the speaker) will say (to his
companion seen in Jahannam), “By Allah, you were going almost to ruin me. Had
it not been for the grace of my Lord, I ˹too˺ would have certainly been among
those brought ˹to Hell˺.”
(Then the speaker will address other people of Paradise in delight and wonder,
saying,) “Are we not then to die anymore Except for our first death, and we will
not be punished?" Truly, this is the supreme success! (37:50-60)

There will be no more night. They will not need the light of a lamp or the light of
the sun, for the Lord God will give them light. And they will reign for ever and ever.
(Revelation 22:5)

Warning:
For the like of this let the workers [on earth] work. Is Paradise a better accommodation
or the tree of Zaqqum? Indeed, We have made it a torment for the wrongdoers. Indeed,
it is a tree issuing from the bottom of the Hellfire, Its emerging fruit as if it was heads
of the devils. And indeed, they will eat from it and fill with it their bellies. Then
indeed, they will have after it a mixture of scalding water. Then they will ultimately
return to ˹their place in˺ Hell. Indeed they found their fathers astray. So they hastened
[to follow] in their footsteps. And there had already strayed before them most of the
former peoples, And indeed We sent among them warners (Messengers); Then look
how was the end of those who were warned – (37:51-73)

8.5.3 Third Sitting:

As-Hab Al-Yamin (Those people on the right on the Day of Reckoning);
[Will be] in gardens, questioning each other About the criminals, [And asking
them], "What put you into Saqar Hell?" They will say, “We were not among
those who offered Salah, (obligatory prayer) Nor did we used to feed the poor.
"And we used to talk falsehood (all that which Allah hated) with vain talkers.
And we used to deny the Day of Recompense "Until there came to us (the death)
that is certain." (74:40-47)

What good is it, my brothers, if someone claims to have faith, but has no deeds?
Can such faith save him? (James 2:14)
Obey God's message! Don't fool yourselves by just listening to it. (James 1:22)

Engr. Baba @bamagaj

91

Warning:
So there will not benefit them the intercession of [any] intercessors. Then what is [the
matter] with them that they are, from the reminder, turning away. As if they were
alarmed donkeys. Fleeing from a hunter, or a lion, or a beast of prey. Rather, every
person among them desires that he would be given scriptures spread about. No! But
they do not fear the Hereafter. Enough! Surely this ˹Quran˺ is a reminder. So let
whoever wills be mindful of it. But they cannot do so unless Allah wills. He ˹alone˺ is
worthy to be feared and entitled to forgive. (74:48-)

8.5.4 Fourth Sitting:

The residents of Paradise will call out to the residents of the Fire, “We have
certainly found our Lord’s promise to be true. Have you too found your Lord’s
promise to be true?” They will reply, “Yes, we have!” Then a caller will
announce to both, “May Allah’s condemnation be upon the wrongdoers, Who
averted [people] from the way of Allah and sought to make it [seem] deviant
while they were, concerning the Hereafter, disbelievers. (7:44-)

Those who guide these people lead them astray. Those who are guided by them
will be destroyed. (Isaiah 9:16)

8.5.5 Fifth Sitting- The People of La’araf:

On the plateau of the heaven, there is a region called A’araf (pronounce La’araf if
having speech problem). A’araf is (a barrier) between the flat highland of Paradise and
the lower valley of the Hellfire. The people on La’araf could easily glimpse the inner
of Hellfire, rather they prefer to rise their head and watch the entertainment of those in
the Paradise. The plateau of the heaven might be as shown below:

Engr. Baba @bamagaj

92

There will be a barrier between. And on the heights ˹of that barrier˺ will be
people (of La’araf) who will recognize ˹the residents of˺ both (Paradise and Hell)
by their appearance. They will call out to the residents of Paradise, “Peace be
upon you!” They will have not yet entered Paradise, but eagerly hope to. (7:46)

Fig 8.5: The A’araf Highland –Barrier between the hell and the Paradise

People of La’araf shall be believers (monotheists) whose their final result (after
weighing of deeds) became neutral (i.e. good and bad deeds weighed equal).

But each one must examine his own work, and then he will have reason for
boasting in regard to himself alone, and not in regard to another. (Galatians 6:4)

Since their first glimpse into the torments in the Hell, they never feel to look again;
And when their eyes will be turned towards the dwellers of the Fire, they will say:
"Our Lord! Place us not with the people who are Zalimun (polytheists and
wrong-doers)." (7:47)

Engr. Baba @bamagaj

93

8.5.6 Sixth Sitting:

People of La’araf will see those in the market of Paradise and those in the valley of
destruction (Hellfire) –they would recognise all (of the Paradise and Hell people), by
their marks…
And the men on Al-A'araf will call unto the men (in the Hell) whom they would
recognise by their marks, saying: "Of what benefit to you were your great
numbers (and hoards of wealth), and your arrogance against Faith?" Are they
those, of whom you swore that Allah would never show them mercy. (Behold! It
has been said to them): "Enter Paradise, no fear shall be on you, nor shall you
grieve." (Quran 7:48)

We used to be stupid, disobedient, and foolish, as well as slaves of all sorts of

desires and pleasures. We were evil and jealous. Everyone hated us, and we hated
everyone. (Titus 3:3)

CHAPTER NINE

9.0 THE DAY OF EVERLASTING LIFE:

The days in the hereafter will be fixed and non-repeated. The last day which is called
“Yaumul Khulud” (The Day of Everlasting life) will never ceased. The Day of
Everlasting life will come after the Day of Recompense as shown in figure 9.0. It shall
be at the beginning of the Day of Everlasting life that the companions of the Garden
enter the Paradise.

Fig 9.0: Days of the Hereafter.

Warning:
In fact, one day with your Lord is like one thousand years according to your
calculation. (22:47)

9.1 Conditions of the residents of Hell on the Day of Everlasting life.

9.1.1 The conditions of the Dwellers of Jaheem hellfire.

After billion years (World counting estimate) of sufferings- whenever their skins are
thoroughly burned, fresh skin will be given to them- dwellers of Jaheem will shout and
cry. There they will quarrel with one another and the erring ones will say (to
their deities): "By Allah, we were surely in clear error. When we made you equal
(in worship) with the Lord of the Worlds. It is none but those steeped in guilt who
led us into this error, and now we have none to intercede on our behalf, nor do
we have a truly sincere friend. (Alas!) If we only had a chance to return (to the
world), we shall truly be among the (Muslims) believers! (26:96-102)

Do something, LORD, for the sake of your name, even though our sins testify
against us. We have been unfaithful and have sinned against you. (Jeremiah 14:7)

"Dear friends, don't be afraid of those who want to kill your body; they cannot do
any more to you after that. But I'll tell you whom to fear. Fear God, who has the
power to kill you and then throw you into hell. Yes, he's the one to fear. (Luke 12:4)

9.1.2 The conditions of the Dwellers of Saqar hellfire.

It is the Fire before which they are presented morning and evening…
And (worth remembering is the time) when they will argue with each other in the
Fire. So, the weak will say to those who were arrogant, “Surely, we used to be
your followers, would you, then, stand for us in (suffering at least a) part of the
(punishment of) Fire?” Those who were arrogant will say: "We are all (together)
in this (Fire)! Verily Allah has judged between (His) slaves!" (40:47)

It is better to trust the LORD for protection than to trust anyone else, including
strong leaders. (Psalm 118:9)
I can guarantee this truth: We know what we're talking about, and we confirm
what we've seen. Yet, you don't accept our message (be monotheists). (John 3:11)

Engr. Baba @bamagaj

96

9.1.3 The conditions of the Dwellers of Jahannam hellfire.

And for those who disbelieve will be the fire of Hell. [Death] is not decreed for
them so they may die, nor will its torment be lightened for them. Thus do we
recompense every ungrateful one.
They will cry out loud in Hell, "Our Lord, remove us; we will do righteousness -
other than what we were doing!" (They will be told): But did We not grant you
life enough for whoever would remember therein to remember, and the warner
had come to you? So taste [the punishment], for there is not for the wrongdoers
any helper. (35:36-37)

and they will cry so loud you won't be able to make yourself heard! How bitterly
they'll cry! They'll throw dust on their heads and wallow in ashes. (Ezekiel 27:30)

similarly,
(And) those in the Fire will say to the keepers of Jahannam (Hell), “Pray to your
Lord to lighten the punishment for us some day.” The keepers of Hell will ask:
“Did your Messengers not come to you with Clear Signs?” They will say: “Yes
(they did).” The keepers of Hell will say: “Then you yourselves should call (upon
the Lord). And the call of the unbelievers will end in vain.” (Quran 40:50)

The dwellers of Jahannam will try (the prayer), They will say: "Our Lord! You have
made us to die twice (i.e. we were dead in the loins of our fathers and dead after
our deaths in this world), and You have given us life twice (i.e. life when we were
born and life when we are Resurrected)! Now we confess our sins, then is there
any way to get out (of the Fire)?" (Quran 40:11)

LORD, we confess our wickedness and that of our ancestors, too. We all have
sinned against you. (Jeremiah 14:20)

˹They will be told, “˹No!˺ (there shall be no any way to get out of the hellfire)…

Engr. Baba @bamagaj

97

This is because when Allah alone was invoked, you ˹staunchly˺ disbelieved. But
when others were associated with Him ˹in worship˺, you ˹readily˺ believed. So
˹Today˺ judgment belongs to Allah ˹alone˺—the Most High, All-Great.”
(Quran 40:11-12)
Everyone followed their old customs. None of them worshiped (Allah) only –the
LORD, and they refused to obey the laws and commands that the LORD had given
to the descendants of Jacob, the man he named Israel. (2 Kings 17:34)
None who go in to her will return, nor will they reach the paths of life. (Prvbs 2:19)

Warning:
Indeed, those who disbelieve will be addressed, "The hatred of Allah for you was
[even] greater than your hatred of yourselves [this Day in Hell] when you were invited
to faith, but you refused." (40:10)

9.1.4 The conditions of the Dwellers of Hawuyah hellfire.

There the unbelievers will say: “Our Lord, show us those that led us astray, both
jinn (demons) and humans, and we will trample them under our feet so that they
are utterly degraded.” (41:29)

"Don't worry about them! They are blind leaders of the blind; and when one blind
man leads another, both fall into a ditch." (Matthew 15:14)

9.1.5 The conditions of the Dwellers of Hutamah hellfire.

The argument in Hutamah will be between leaders of the infidels and their followers.
[Its inhabitants will say], "This is a company bursting in with you. No welcome
for them. Indeed, they will burn in the Fire." (The followers of the misleaders will
say): "Nay, you (too)! No welcome for you! It is you (misleaders) who brought
this upon us (because you misled us in the world), so evil is this place to stay in!"
Adding, “Our Lord! Whoever brought this upon us, double their punishment in
the Fire.” (38:62)

Engr. Baba @bamagaj

98

Don't put your trust in human leaders; no human being can save you. (Psalm 146:3)

Warning:
This is how it will really be: the inhabitants of the Fire will blame one another in this
way. (38:64)
But for those whom We had decided to favour with good reward, they shall be kept far
removed from Hell. They shall not hear the slightest sound of it (Hell), while they
abide in that which their ownselves desire. (22:101-102)

Verily! (During the worldly life) those who committed crimes used to laugh at
those who believed. And whenever they passed by them, used to wink one to
another (in mockery); And when they returned to their own people, they would
return jesting; And when they saw the faithful, they would say, “These ˹people˺
are truly astray,” But they (disbelievers, sinners) had not been sent as watchers
over them (the believers). But on that Day the believers will be laughing at the
disbelievers, as they sit on ˹canopied˺ couches, looking on. Are not the
disbelievers paid (fully) for what they used to do? (Quran 83:29-36)

Tell those who disobey, "You're in big trouble--what you did to others will come
back to you." (Isaiah 3:11)
…Woe to you who are laughing now, for you shall weep and you shall wail!” Woe to
you who are laughing now, for you shall weep and you shall wail!” (Luke 6:25)

Warning:
O you who have believed, let not a people ridicule [another] people; perhaps they may
be better than them; nor let women ridicule [other] women; perhaps they may be better
than them. And do not insult one another and do not call each other by [offensive]
nicknames. Wretched is the name of disobedience after [one's] faith. And whoever
does not repent - then it is those who are the wrongdoers. (49:11)

Engr. Baba @bamagaj

99

9.1.6 The conditions of the Dwellers of Laza hellfire.

And they (the infidels) will say, “What is the matter with us that we do not see
those men (here in Hell) whom we used to count amongst the worst? (i.e the
Muslims whom the infidels used to treat as the worst people among them). Were
we wrong in mocking them ˹in the world˺? Or do our eyes ˹just˺ fail to see them
˹in the Fire˺?” (38:62)
Having asked about the residents of the Paradise, it will be shown to them. They will
see the true Muslims with rivers flowing under their feet. There adorned with bracelets
of gold, and worn green garments of fine silk and rich brocade, reclining there on
˹canopied˺ couches…
…What a marvellous reward! And what a fabulous place to rest!
And when you look there (in Paradise), you will see a delight (that cannot be
imagined), and a great dominion. Their garments will be of fine green silk, and
gold embroidery. They will be adorned with bracelets of silver, and their Lord
will give them a pure drink. (76:20)

The deadly thirst due to the boiling water in the bellies of the dwellers of fire forced
them to look for fine and pure drink as they see it available and sparkling in Paradise.
And the dwellers of the Fire will call to the dwellers of Paradise: "Pour on us
some water or anything that Allah has provided you with." They (dwellers of
Paradise) will say: "Both (water and provision) Allah has forbidden to the
disbelievers." "Who took their religion as an amusement and play, and the life of
the world deceived them… (Quran 7:50)

Engr. Baba @bamagaj

100

Warning:
Indeed the God-fearing will be in a place free from fear, dressed in fine silk and rich
brocade, facing one another. So (it will be), and We shall marry them to Houris
(female fair ones) with wide, lovely eyes. While resting in security, they shall call for
all kinds of fruit. There they will never taste death, beyond the first death (they faced
in the world). And He will protect them from the punishment of the Hellfire— A grace
from your Lord; this is the great achievement. (Quran 44:51-57)

“You search the Scriptures, because you think that in them you have eternal life;
and it is these (Scriptures) that bear witness of Me (Allah); (John 5:39)

As for the disbelievers, they will have the Fire of Hell, where they will not be ˹allowed
to be˺ finished by death, nor will its torment be lightened for them. This is how We
reward every ˹stubborn˺ disbeliever. (Quran 35:36)
That is the reward of Allah’s enemies: The Fire, which will be their eternal home—a
˹fitting˺ reward for their denial of Our revelations. (Quran 41:28)

Dwellers of Hell shall remain inside for billions of years (as we could estimate). They
will wish to get out of the Fire, but never are they to emerge therefrom, and for
them is an enduring punishment. (5:37) Whenever they would (try to) go out of it
(because) of their suffering, they will be brought back into it, and (it is said to
them), "Taste the torment of the burning." (22:22)

Until when the appointed time (only known by Allah (SWA)) arrived, the promise of
Allah will be fulfilled; The intercession!

Engr. Baba @bamagaj

101

9.1.7 The Intercession.

It is when the appointed time of intercession arrived, some of the dwellers of fire (only
erring Muslims) will be removed, washed in the lake of life and transferred to the
lowest Gardens of the Paradise.

Abu Huraira (R.A) said: The Prophet of Allah (Peace be upon him) said: There is for
every apostle a prayer which is granted, but every prophet showed haste in his prayer.
I have, however, reserved my prayer for the intercession of my Ummah on the Day of
Resurrection, and it would be granted, if Allah so willed, in case of everyone amongst
my Ummah provided he dies without associating anything with Allah.
(Sahih Muslim Book 1 Hadith 389)

…Verily, whosoever sets up partners in worship with Allah, then Allah has
forbidden Paradise for him, and the Fire will be his abode. And for the Zalimun
(polytheists and wrong-doers) there are no helpers. (Quran 5:72)

Suppose an Israelite or a foreigner who lives in Israel deserts me by devoting

himself to idols and by allowing himself to fall into sin. If he goes to a prophet to
ask for my help, I, the LORD, will give him an answer. (Ezekiel 14:7)

Warning:
If you avoid the great sins which you are forbidden to do, We shall remit from you
your (small) sins, and admit you to a Noble Entrance (i.e. Paradise). (4:31)
And those whom they invoke besides Him have no power to intercede; but those who
bear witness to the truth, while they have knowledge (may intercede for the believers
with Allah’s permission). (43:86)

"Therefore, give the people of Israel this message from the Sovereign LORD: Do you
plan to pollute yourselves just as your ancestors did? Do you intend to keep
prostituting yourselves by worshiping vile images? (Ezekiel 20:30)

Engr. Baba @bamagaj

102

And they worship other than Allah that which neither harms them nor benefits them,
and they say, "These are our intercessors with Allah " Say, "Do you inform Allah of
something He does not know in the heavens or on the earth?" Exalted is He and high
above what they associate with Him (10:18)

Prayer:
Allah's Apostle said, "Whoever after listening to the Adhan says:
'Allahumma Rabba hadhihi-d-da' watit-tammati was-salatil qa'imati, ati
Muhammadan al-wasilata wal-fadilata, wab' athhu maqaman mahmudan-il-ladhi
wa' adtahu (O Allah! Lord of this perfect call (of not ascribing partners to You) and
of the regular prayer which is going to be established! Kindly give Muhammad the
right of intercession and superiority and send him (on the Day of Judgment) to the best
and the highest place in Paradise which You promised him)',
then intercession for me will be permitted for him on the Day of Resurrection".
Narrated Jabir bin 'Abdullah: (Sahih al-Bukhari Book 11 Hadith 588)

Whoever receives a Prophet in the name of a Prophet receives the reward of the
Prophet, and whoever receives The Righteous One in the name of The Righteous
One receives the reward of The Righteous One. (Matthew 10:41)

9.1.8 The everlasting life of the Dwellers of Hell.

Yaumul khulud (The Day of Everlasting Life) continues with disbelievers and rocks
compressed in hellfire, suffering its torments, and the Muslims believers dispersed in
the Gardens of Paradise moving securely.
Life will become extra-difficult to the residents of hellfire;
1. Punishments shall be changing to the deadliest accidents.
2. They will wish to get out of the Fire, but never are they to emerge therefrom,
3. Whenever they would try to go out of it because of their suffering, they will be
brought back into it,

4. They screamed aloud, "Our Lord, bring us (forth) out. We will do righteousness,
other than whatever we were doing." They have been told to taste the
punishments.

What should they do?

(And) they will call (Mālik–the keeper of the Hell,) "O Malik, let your Lord put
an end to us!" He will say "Verily you shall abide forever." (43:77)

In those days people will want to die, but they will not be able to. They will hope
for death, but it will escape from them. (Revelation 9:6)

A guilty person will desire that he may be able to ransom himself from the
torment of that day even by his sons, And his wife and his brother. And his
nearest kindred who shelter him. and everyone on earth, if it could save him.

By no means! Verily it will be the fierce flame (Laza). that will pull out the skin of
the scalp. It invites he who turned his back [on truth] and went away [from
obedience], And collected [wealth] and hoarded. (70:11-18)

Death would be brought in the form of a white-coloured ram, and would be made to
stand between the Paradise and the Hell. It would be said to the inmates of Paradise:
Do you recognise this? They would raise up their necks and look towards it and say:
Yes, it is death. Then it would be said to the inmates of Hell-Fire. Do you recognise
this? And they would raise up their necks and look and say: Yes, it is death. Then
command would be given for slaughtering that, and then it would be said: O inmates
of Paradise, there is an everlasting life for you and no death. And then (addressing) to
the inmates of the Hell-Fire, it would be said: O inmates of Hell-Fire, there is an
everlasting living for you and no death. (Sahih Muslim Book 40 Hadith 6827)

Afterwards, death and its kingdom were thrown into the lake of fire. This is the
second death (for the polytheists). (Revelation 20:14)

"Our Lord, give us in this world [that which is] good and in the
Hereafter [that which is] good and protect us from the punishment of
the Fire." (Quran 2:201)

SUMMARY:

The summary of the events that shall happened prior to the Resurrection of the
dead to the Day of Everlasting Life:

When the heaven is cleft asunder. And when the stars have fallen and scattered; And
when the seas are burst forth; And when the graves are turned upside down (and they
bring out their contents). (Then) a person will know what he has sent forward and
(what he has) left behind (of good or bad deeds). (Quran 82:1-5)

When the sun Kuwwirat (wound round and lost its light and is overthrown). And when
the stars shall fall; And when the mountains shall made to pass away; And when the
pregnant she-camels shall be neglected; And when the wild beasts shall be gathered
together; And when the seas shall become as blazing Fire or shall overflow; And when
the souls shall be joined with their bodies; And when the female (infant) buried alive
(as the pagan Arabs used to do) shall be questioned. For what sin she was killed? And
when the written pages of deeds (good and bad) of every person shall be laid open;
And when the heaven shall be stripped off and taken away from its place; And when
Hell-fire shall be kindled to fierce ablaze. And when Paradise shall be brought near,
(Then) every person will know what he has brought (of good and evil).
(Quran 81:1-14)

And the earth will shine with the light of its Lord (Allah, when He will come to judge
among men) and the Book will be placed (open) and the Prophets and the witnesses
will be brought forward, and it will be judged between them with truth, and they will
not be wronged. And each person will be paid in full of what he did; and He is Best
Aware of what they do.

And those who disbelieved will be driven to Hell in groups, till, when they reach it,
the gates thereof will be opened (suddenly like a prison at the arrival of the prisoners).
And its keepers will say, "Did not the Messengers come to you from yourselves,
reciting to you the Verses of your Lord, and warning you of the Meeting of this Day of
yours?" They will say: "Yes, but the Word of torment has been justified against the
disbelievers!" It will be said (to them): "Enter you the gates of Hell, to abide therein.
And (indeed) what an evil abode of the arrogant!"

And those who kept their duty to their Lord will be led to Paradise in groups, till,
when they reach it, and its gates will be opened (before their arrival for their
reception) and its keepers will say: Salamun 'Alaikum (peace be upon you)! You have
done well, so enter here to abide therein." And they will say: "All the praises and
thanks be to Allah Who has fulfilled His Promise to us and has made us inherit (this)
land. We can dwell in Paradise where we will; how excellent a reward for the (pious
good) workers!" (39:69-74)

The sea gave up its dead, and death and the grave gave up their dead. And all were
judged according to their deeds. (Revelation 20:13)

CONCLUSION:

O mankind, indeed the promise of Allah is truth, so let not the worldly life delude
you and be not deceived about Allah by the Deceiver. Indeed, Satan is an enemy
to you; so take him as an enemy. He only invites his party to be among the
companions of the Blaze. Those who disbelieve will have a severe punishment,
and those who believe and do righteous deeds will have forgiveness and great
reward. (35:5-7)

Exalted is your Lord, the Lord of might, above what they describe.
And peace upon the messengers. And all the praise and thanks be to
Allah, Lord of the Worlds! (37:180-183)

APPENDIX A

How to Become a Muslim

1. Make sure you know what it means to be Muslim:

Being a Muslim is believing in the one and only Allah. Allah is the only God,
the only Creator and the Almighty. He is the only one you should be doing your
good deeds for and the only who shall be worshipped.
Allah, the Arabic word for God, refers to the same God worshipped by
Christians and Jews (aka the "Abrahamic" God). Thus, Muslims revere the
prophets of Christianity and Judaism (including Jesus, Moses, David, Elijah,
etc.) and consider the Bible and Torah to be divinely inspired.
Allah's messenger Muhammad (peace be upon him) is the messenger and the
last Prophet who came down to Earth, and there will never be any prophets after
him.
2. Say the Shahada:
If you're absolutely sure you want to become a Muslim and fully submit to the
will of Allah, all you need to do is recite the Shahada, a short oral declaration of
faith. Be aware that once you have said the Shahada, you are committed to
following Islam for life. The words of the Shahada are "La ilaha ill allah,
Muhammadur Rasul lul lah", which translates to "I testify that there is no
other god but Allah, and Muhammad is God's messenger (prophet)." By saying
the Shahada, (congratulations) you become a Muslim.
3. Wash yourself:
Immediately upon becoming a Muslim, you should take a shower or bath (with
just clean water (no soap!)) as a form of purification. This is a symbolic act that
signifies the washing away of the past and of emerging from darkness to light.

APPENDIX B

What Follows Immediately.

The day you converted to Islam, the following should be adhered:

1. Understand and embody the five pillars of Islam:

Islam's Five Pillars are obligatory actions that Muslims must take. They
represent the core of pious Islamic life. The Five Pillars are:
 Testimony of Faith (Shahada). You make this when you become a Muslim by
declaring that there is no God but Allah and Muhammad is His messenger.
 Performance the five daily prayers (Salah). Prayers are made five times a day
in the direction of the holy city of Mecca.
 Fasting during the month of Ramadan (Sawm). Ramadan is a holy month
marked by prayer, fasting, and charity.
 Giving 2.5% of your savings to the poor (Zakat) once in a year. It is a
personal responsibility of Muslims to help those less fortunate. Note that Zakat
becomes necessary ONLY when your savings reach (Nisab = 85 grams of pure
gold, see more) and stayed for one year.
 Making a pilgrimage to Mecca (Hajj). Those who are able are required to
make the journey to Mecca at least once (during your worldly life).

2. Believe in the six articles of Faith:

Muslims have faith in Allah and his divine order even though it cannot be
perceived by human senses. The six articles of faith mandate that Muslims must
believe in:
 Allah (God). God is the creator of the universe and He is the only being worthy
of worship.
 His angels. Angels are the unquestioning servants of God's.

Engr. Baba @bamagaj

111

 His revealed scripture. The Quran is the perfect will of God as revealed to
Muhammad (SAW) through the angel Gabriel.
Christian and Jewish scriptures are also considered holy; they were given from
Allah but some or more of the content (nowadays) has already been changed.
 His Messengers. God sent Prophets (including Jesus, Abraham, and others) to
preach his word on earth. Muhammad (peace be upon him) is the messenger and
the last Prophet who came down to Earth, and there will never be any prophets
after him.
 The Day of Judgement. God will eventually raise all life for judgement at a
time known only to him.
 Fate. God has ordained all things - nothing occurs without his will or pre-
knowledge.

The Messenger has believed in what was revealed to him from his Lord,
and [so have] the believers. All of them have believed in Allah and His
angels and His books and His messengers, [saying], "We make no
distinction between any of His messengers." And they say, "We hear and
we obey. [We seek] Your forgiveness, our Lord, and to You is the [final]
destination." (Quran 2:285)

3. Above all, be the best person you can be:

No matter what may anger, sadden or upset you, your duty on earth is to be the best
person you can be by serving Allah. Muslims believe that Allah created us to have a
good life, and to be happy through our service to Him. Use your talents to help others
and better your community. Be open-minded. Never do harm to anyone. Make it your
mission to tell people about Islam, enlighten that Islam is a religion of peace.

Always follow the advices of the prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) and be
(together in opinion) with Ahlus Sunnah (Sunni Muslims).

APPENDIX C

For Those Not Yet Convinced

Islam claims to be the true way to God. What makes one religion valid over other
ideologies is the proofs it offers for its truthfulness. Hence, one needs to look at these
proofs, weight them and take an informed decision. One needs to be sincere in one’s
endeavour and above all seek the help of the Almighty to guide him/her to the right
path.

If a person is still not convinced of the truthfulness of Islam, then he/she can further
look at the proofs Islam offers. Islam offers overwhelming proofs of its truthfulness
and is the only religion that completely appeals to common sense.

Some of the proofs Islam offers are: the scientific proofs in the Quran, the miracles
performed by the Prophet Muhammad and the prophesies of his coming in previous
scriptures, the foretold events mentioned in the Quran that later came to pass, the
unmet challenge of the Quran to bring even a chapter like it, and the divine wisdom in
the laws and teachings of Islam that cover all aspects of life. To learn more about the
proofs of Islam, please check the articles under this section, “Evidence Islam is Truth”

The recent miracles of the Holy Quran are:
