Research Experience

Postgraduate Research: Bayero University, Kano.

• The use of solar cell device simulator; the one-dimensional Solar Cells Capacitance
Simulator (SCAPS-1D) program for simulating the tin-based perovskite solar cells.
• Adjusting and optimizing the doping concentration of the perovskite absorption layer,
its thickness and the electron affinities of the electron transport medium and hole
transport medium.
• Adjusting and optimizing the defect density of the perovskite absorption layer and
hole mobility of hole transport material.
• Research findings presented to Materials and Energy Research Group on Electrical
and Optical Characterization of Betalain with Polypyrrole thin films on Indium Tin
Oxide as P-N Heterojunction Solar Cell.

Undergraduate Project: Federal University of Technology, Minna.

• An evaluation of the level of background radiation was carried out at Shanu village in
Minna.
• Experience in the use of portable Geiger-Mueller tube-based environmental digital
radiometer calibrated by gamma (γ) rays from caesium (Cs) source.
• Strong background and experience with the use of Microsoft Excel in the evaluation
of the mean dose rate and standard deviation of surveyed area.
• Familiar with procedures and techniques in monitoring background radiation sources.

I have vast experience in teaching Physics and Mathematics subjects at both high
school/undergraduate level.

• 2021 – date: Planning and effectively executing Mechanics I and Optics courses for
year 1 students at Confluence University of Science and Technology, Osara, Kogi State,
Nigeria.

Amana Success Academy, Kabuga, Kano, Nigeria.
