And the people who actually travel for fun are called tourists.

DECISION MAKING:
• Decision making will be more likely in the hands of the branch manager, employees or the
clients.
• In this business clients are very important so decision making will also depend upon
clients as the trips will be organized where the visitors want to go.

ORGANIZATION STRUCTURE:
Organization structure will be Organic.

An organic organization is a type of informal

organization originally described by British theorists
Tom Burns and George Stalker. According to Burns
and Stalker, an organic organization is one that is
very flexible and is able to adapt well to changes. Its
structure is identified as having little job
specialization, few layers of management,
decentralized decision-making, and not much direct
supervision.

Organic structure will be preferred because

the employees and branch managers will be making decisions of where to organize the trips.
They will be having power and freedom regarding decision making. There will be decentralization
and there will be a lot of employee empowerment.

that are earned as a result of an employee's performance. These rewards are aligned with
organizational goals. When an employee helps an organization in the achievement of one of its
goals, a reward often follows.

We will keep rewarding our employee in spite of there efforts like

1. Bonuses
2. Tours
3. Promotions
4. Salary increments
5. Employee of month
6. Employee of year

will be organized.

O INTERPERSONAL ROLE:

A committee of ambassadors will be formed to convince people of universities and college and
other organizations to join us in the trips.

PESTEL ANALYSIS ON TOURISM IN PAKISTAN:

PESTEL:

“It is a framework which describes the macro environmental factors that can be used in
environmental scanning component of strategic management.”

It basically is a mnemonic whose expanded form is explained next.

It describes a country’s political, environmental, social, technological, legal as well as economic

state and area.

1. POLITICAL ANALYSIS:

As stated by Issa in 2006:

“Political stability is mandatory for the development of tourism.”

• Unfortunately, Pakistan suffered a lot because of terrorism in last decade. A very negative
and insecure image of Pakistan were created in minds of people and demise of tourist
attraction was also caused because of this.
• But Alhamdulilah after successful number of operations by Pakistan defense forces
Pakistan is succeeded to restore its peaceful image.
• Now the present government is very concern about tourism and is interested to develop
tourism in Pakistan.
• PM IK said that Govt. will choose 3 tourist spots every year and will make that spots best
spots for tourism.
• Recently 3 days conference on tourism was held at convention center Islamabad by
Ministry of tourism.
• Moreover, recently Saudi crown prince visited Pakistan and he also showed his interest in
tourism development in Pakistan
• Following Govt. departments are working to improve tourism in Pakistan
1. Tourism Development Corporation Of Punjab (TDCP) is working in Punjab for the
promotion of the tourism sector.
2. Culture Tourism and Antiquities Department - Sindh
3. Department of Tourism - Khyber Pakhtunkhwa
4. Secretary of Culture, Tourism & Archive - Baluchistan
5. Tourism, Sports, Culture and Youth Department - Gilgit-Baltistan
6. Department of Tourism - Azad Jammu and Kashmir
All these factors will help in growth and promotion of tourism In Pakistan because Tourism
flourishes in an environment free of turmoil. It cannot flourish in an environment of conflict
or terror.

2. ECONOMIC ANALYSIS:

• The biggest issue is lack of the proper infrastructure which is a great cause of failure for
the profitable tourism industry but now Govt. is working on it.
• As Saudi Crown prince shows his interest on investing in Pakistan tourism industry. This
will surely give boost.
• Economic factors have remained a major factor behind the high demand in the tourism
sector globally. The labor market has continued to grow stronger and with-it consumer
spending. Not just this, disposable personal income as well as average hourly incomes
have also risen. So, overall these are positive signs for the Tourism industry.
• If the economy is flourishing, the consumers would be able to spend more on leisure
activities. Otherwise economic slowdown affects their pockets and then the industry.
Under such conditions, the players including hotel brands and airlines are forced to cut

down prices to fuel demand. The result is reduced profits. The exact opposite happens
when economic activity is higher.
• Inbound tourism has monetary impact on financial stability and growth of the country.
Inbound tourism expenditures like hoteling, dining, entertainment and other
conveniences services create jobs and business opportunities for locals, increase Govt.
revenue, and attract investors in tourism sectors

3. SOCIAL ANALYSIS:

• Like the economic trends, social trends too shape the tourism industry.
• As now the world has changed and trend of tourism is on top
• Every university, school, College arrange trips for their student to relax them.
• Same many offices are arranging trips for their employees to relax them.
• Now parents are also modernized and easily allow their children to go.

4. TECHNOLOGICAL ANALYSIS:

• In our today world new technologies are forever being made to faster and more efficient
as people want things to take less and less time. internet has made a huge influence on
the tourism industry.
• there has been increase in online sales of tickets. Booking online has made it easier for
individuals to book their own holidays.
• social media marketing is helping a lot to promote business.
• PIA is also flourishing; this will also have positive impact on tourism industry

5. ENVIRONMENTAL ANALYSIS:

• Different changing weather conditions are the important factors for decline of the tourist
attraction.
• When there is snow fall in few areas people rushed towards those areas.
• Most of people rushed towards cold areas in summers.
• environmental or ecological factors have a major impact on tourism industry. Cities that
are greener and cleaner receive tourists in larger numbers.
• environmental concerns are also important for tourism operators including transport
operators and the hotel and restaurant brands.
• One even important thing is the impact of weather conditions on travel and tourism. Even
the airlines industry is impacted directly by changing weather conditions. Airplanes cannot
fly in stormy weather and if a disaster happens, it affects the entire industry.

• Natural disasters can also affect country tourism. People are less likely to travel
somewhere which is viewed as dangerous and secondly disaster could ruin tourist
attraction.

6. LEGAL ANALYSIS:

• Another causing factor can be the law and order obligatory rules.
• Strict Visa policies limit tourist arrivals. Many reports showed that complicated
procedures and high visa fees are the major reasons for the downfall of the country’s
tourism.
• But now Govt. is also amending visa policy and making easy for people to get visa of
Pakistan
