Using polya’s method:

1) Frog is at the bottom of well 17 foot well.
2) Each time it leaps moves 3 foot of distance up.
3) And with move 1 feet slides back if not reached the top .
4) The frog will move 2 feet in every leap

Reviewing solution:
First Jump distance jumped = 3+1(-1)
= 2 Feet
= 2*1 Feet
After 2 Jumps

Distance Jumped = 2+2

= 2*2
= 4 Feet
After 7 jumps
 Distance jumped,
= 2*7
= 14 Feet

After the 8th jump the frog climbs

Distance jumped + 3
= 14+3
= 17 Feet
