Sports certainly gives people a sense of entertainment, it either lifts their mood up or brings them
down in the dump. Badminton for example is an exciting game that anyone can play thus the viewers
having enough knowledge to know how the sport is supposed to be played. Behind the cameras, there are
various things needed to be done in order for the game or match to be held safely and fairly.
In playing a certain sport like badminton, there are plenty of rules and regulations needed to be
known by both the athletes competing as well as the officiating officials involved in the stated sport. For
any participant of the game, rules and regulations serves as the safety guidelines for everyone to follow to
decrease the chances of accidents happening on the court. If not followed properly then consequences
would be implemented which ranges from giving the point to the opponent or disqualification of the
player in said match. Winning the game is surely a delight for the player but our health should be
prioritized first before any glory or honor.
Besides the safety of all individuals involved in the sports, cheating has always been involved in
any competition which is why rules and regulations were made to ensure a fair tournament between the
players. Knowledge is also important in winning a game and with proper planning and techniques based
solely on the rules, these list of things to be done can be used as an advantage against your opponent.
Treat everyone with respect and kindness because remember, a competition makes your opponent the
enemy however a friend is gained after every match you compete.
