Introduction
Veterinary clinics adapt to high technology where a computer has become a way
of life and technology makes things easy and possible. Some pet care clinics still use
manual operations in their daily business transactions. We all know that modern pet
clinics are now striving to serve as animals as possible with the best of their abilities.
However, as years passes by, the number of animals has grown, and various
medical cases arise that the manual method of managing animal records, prescriptions,
billing, and appointment schedule is no longer practical. There was a need for a
lightweight application to keep track of patient appointments, diet monitoring,
vaccination, and illness or diseases treatment monitoring. The manual method that most
pet clinics use in managing animal records, inventory, billing, and appointment schedule
is no longer practical, the hospital is still using index cards in their daily transactions,
which they keep their records in drawers, and it gives them much time in finding some of
the documents that they need Technology drastically changes the game by making their
work fast, easy and convenient at the same time. Like in the project we were working on,
veterinaries and their staff can work at ease by using the technology that we will provide.
We would create a system that would store the basic information of the pets, online
appointments, billing, automated prescriptions, and online consultation to keep track of
the patients. The development of this system is to provide detailed records that are easy to
retrieve and will minimize all the paper works and manual records, keeping, therefore,
ease in keeping track of the records for online consultation, it minimizes the risk of going
outside.

 1.1. Statement of the Problem

The client we have chosen to give our system is “Petlandia Pet Clinic
Center" they are a veterinary clinic that performs many medical operations for our
pets;

It also comes with pet supplies like feeds and medicines. The clinic is located in
Barangay Poblacion Central General Tinio Nueva Ecija,

According to their staff, the main issue of their clinic is that they lack
automated tools such as not having a virtual method of recording their customers
and their pets, they are having a hard time checking the records of their clients,
and they are also having problems queuing their customers.

It is a must to eliminate their futile way of manually tracking their customer to

save more time and space for the clinic is also vital for the clinic to always stay
spacious for the employees and their staff in this way, they will get more
customers for having a convenient way of checking on their pets.

1.2. Overview of the Current State of Technology

Petlandia is currently using print out records of their customer they were also using
Facebook as their advertising tool along with some tarpaulin and other advertising manual
methods all forms are just a printout, and they are not aware of the disadvantages of using
manual methods nowadays, the way of their record tracking is futile as they write
everything down on print outs,

 1.3. Objectives

1.3.1. General Objectives

The main objective of our study is to create Petlandia Pet Care
Clinic System with Online Consultation for Petlandia Pet Veterinary
Clinic, and we will implement this for the better good of the clinic. Our
system will help the clinic drastically on their work, making their work
more efficient and user-friendly interface,
, The primary purpose of our project is to help the clinic gain more
customers online and to lessen the laborious work of the staff on their
paper works so it can give them less stressful workstation.

1.3.2. SPECIFIC OBJECTIVES

 To create an Online Consultation that has a function for the clinic.
o To have a more manageable and quick check-up for both
the doctor and the client to lessen the hassle.
o To avoid making contact between the staff and the clients.
 To create a Log that has a function for the clients' data.
o To give the clinic a newer method of logging and tracking of
their clients.

 To create an Inventory that has the ability that can check all the
expirations of the supplies in the clinic.
o To help the staff identify if the supplies are still in
condition and ready to sell.
 To create a Website that has the function of advertising.
o To have a better reach of viewers and to create more
clients.

 o Users can create an account for them to have access pets
information and they can see the schedules of their pets so they
can be notified when their pets vaccine.

1.3.3. Scopes and Limitation

Back End Scope

 Reports - This is where the clinic and clients data can be seen and
downloaded.
 Settings - This is where they can setup the system.
 Video Conferencing – This is where the video conferencing to be
configured.

Front End Scope

 Main Menu Interface- This is where the users can pick an option of
features they can use.
 Video Conferencing - This is where the video conferencing can be
seen.

LIMITATIONS
 No internet, No access
 The customer cannot access the webpage without internet
connection.
