THE PROBLEM AND IT’S BACKGROUND

2
The Internet of Things is about making
“dumb” things “smart“

3
IoT is about the power of data

4
IoT-based smart farming systems can help monitor for
instance, light, temperature, humidity and soil moisture
of crop fields using connected sensors.

5
Arduino UNO as a controller to integrate data from the
sensor and send it to the IOT flatform through Ethernet
module

6
STATEMENT OF THE PROBLEM

7
Cultivation of shiitake and button
mushrooms requires cold environments

8
SCOPE AND LIMITATIONS

9
Main features of the study was to develop an real time
monitoring system with smart sprinkler for mushroom
house

10
SCOPE
Various Sensors use such as :
 Temperature Sensor
 Humidity Sensor
 Light Sensor
 Carbon Dioxide Sensor

11
LIMITATIONS

Can’t make a
transaction for selling
mushrooms.

16
LIMITATIONS

Can’t make an
inventory for harvest
mushroom.

17
SIGNIFICANCE OF THE STUDY

18
THIS STUDY WILL BENEFIT
 Farmers
 Owner
 Markets
 Future Researchers
 The Researcher.

19
METHODS AND PROCEDURE

20
RESEARCH DESIGN

Developmental approach
21
LOCAL OF THE STUDY

Conducted at Bote Mushroom Farm, in the Municipality of

General Tino province of Nueva Ecija, Philippines, located at
Barangay Rio Chico. 22
RESEARCH RESPONDENTS

There will be 3 sets of Respondents in the study

1. IT Expert
2. IT Consultant
3. Fungi culturist Expert
4. Primary Users (Owners)
5. Secondary Users (staffs/employees)

23
SAMPLE AND SAMPLING TECHNIQUE

Purposive sampling also known as judgmental,

selective, or subjective sampling, is a form of
nonprobability sampling

24
RESEARCH INSTRUMENT

The researcher employed Printed Questionnaires

adapted from ISO/IEC 25010 Software Product Quality
Standards composed of 6 criteria: functionality,
reliability, usability, efficiency, security and
maintainability. for collecting data from the
respondents.

25
DATA GATHERING PROCEDURE
Data for the development stage was gathered
through web searches printed questionnaires and
interviews with specialists from Central Luzon
State University in order to find the appropriate
features for the mushroom farming,

26
DATA GATHERING PROCEDURE
Construction of the system and program design,
coding of the software program, testing and
implementing the output in iterative manner and
the maintenance requirements and considerations
of the system.

27
RECOMMENDATIONS

28
1. Make a sensor settings when we can set the sensors
configuration.

• Evaluation Panel : Sir Jerome Mangulabnan

• Action taken : Develop sensor setting that allows the

administrator to configure the sensor.

29
1. Remove Unrelated data from tables.

• Evaluation Panel : Sir Jodell Bulaclac

• Action taken : Edit the code for previewing data to

tables.
