1. Introduction:

Your Digital Portfolio is a collection of documents that show your personal, professional, and academic
development throughout the ETS module. It will include:

• Your completed Skills for Success self-evaluation (completed 7-page handout)


• Your Personal Development Plan (1 page)
• A video of yourself carrying out a mock interview with your tutor for a Business-related role (~5
minutes)
• Your up-to-date CV (1 – 2 pages)
• A screenshot of an online professional profile (e.g. LinkedIn) (1 page)

• Learning Outcomes:

This assignment assesses your ability to:

• Evaluate and enhance your employability skills and professional experience


• Demonstrate self-awareness through creating a personalised development plan
• Produce a well-curated digital portfolio using relevant technology
• Successfully showcase your employability, in spoken and written media

2. Task:

Throughout the ETS module, you will be set the portfolio tasks detailed in the Introduction section.

4. Suggested format:

Templates will be offered for each of the written elements of the Portfolio.

5. Deadline(s):

Your portfolio must be complete and ready to mark on the Bulb App website by 17:00 on Thursday 17th
December (end of ETS Week 7, Academic Calendar Week 12)

6. Submission

Your work should be saved through the Bulb online app.

If you submit an assessment late, a penalty will be applied to your final mark. Late submissions will
receive a penalty of 10% for the first 24 hours, 20% up to 48 hours and 30% up to 72 hours. After this
time, the work will not receive a grade unless mitigating circumstances are shown to exist. The penalties
for late submission are outlined in your Student Handbook. If you are unable to submit by the deadline,
you will need to apply for mitigating circumstances.

7. Additional Notes

Successful portfolios will contain all required documents, completed to a high standard and in sufficient
detail. They will reveal excellent self-knowledge and reflective skills, showcasing employability
knowledge and goal-setting abilities. They will also demonstrate understanding of the topics and skills

covered throughout the ETS course, such as interview skills and creating a strong online professional
presence.
