SQL INSTALLATION DOCUMENT

Step-1:

Please select the below link, and press Control Key and Enter (ctrl + Enter) ---it will navigate to
the browser

1. It will fetch to the below image,

2. After that you can click on the below “+ Details”, option and check the package size is 1.9
GB is available or not. If it is available then you can go to the below step,
Step-2—
You can click on the “Download”, option.

• Once we can click the Download option , it will be going to the Next Page, there we need to
select the package Size is
• Once you select the “.exe” file then, click “NEXT” Button, after that the SQL file will start
download automatically.
• Once the file is downloaded, it will be storing into your local machine in Particular folder, you
can go there and select the package and run it as administrator and Click “YES”, below the
screen shots for your reference, and go through the below screens shots 1,2 & 3.

Step-3:
Once you click the Screen Shot—3, it will be loading and displaying the below process, here we need to
select the “New SQL Server Stand-alone installation or add features to an existing installation”.
• The Next step will be following the below screen shot, and select the check box is “ I accept the
license Items”, After that click on the NEXT Button,

• Once you click on the NEXT Button it will navigate to the below screen shot.

• Once the above process is completed, it will be loading and opening a new window like the
below screen shot. There we need to Click on the “NEXT”, button.
• Again, you need to click on the “NEXT” Button,
• You need to click on the, “Named Instance”—and Click on the “NEXT” Button

• Again, you need to click on the “NEXT” Button,

• You need to Select the * Mixed mode (SQL Server authentication and Windows authentication),
there we need to give the password is “Sqlsever@123” and then click on the “NEXT” Button,

• After, that you need to select the * “Install and Configure.”, and click on the “NEXT” Button,
• Again, you need to click on the “NEXT” Button,
• The below process will be taking the much time, so here we need to wait for at least 20 to 30
mins (Based on your system performance),
• Once, we are waited for some time the Status will be showing in every feature is “Succeeded”,
then we need to close the current pop-up window.
• After that you can click on the “Windows”, Button and there you need to search as “SSMS”,
here we can get a name as “Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio”, like the below screen
shot. Here we need to select the “Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio”,
• Once, we select the option “Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio”, the screen will be
displaying like the below one. Here we need to select the server’s name, if we are getting the
default server name then you can click to “CONNECT”—option or else you need to click on the
drop down besides, there we need to select “Browse for Server”, after that we need to
select “Database Engine”, the below screen shot for your reference
Then, we can click on the “Connect”, option and then it ill be fetching to the following screenshots
• Once, we can see the below page. Here we need to click on the “New Query”,
