Abstract: -
UNIVERSITY MANAGEMENT SYSTEM deals with the maintenance
of University data, records, instructions, and students information
within the University. UMS is an automation system, which is used to
store the information, students record, and information of courses.
Starting from registration of a new student in the college, it
maintains all the details regarding the attendance and marks of the
student. The project deals with the retrieval of information through
an INTRANET based campus wide portal. It collects related
information from all the departments of an organization and
maintains files, which are used to generate reports in various forms
to measure Individual and overall performance of the students.
Development process of the system starts with System analysis.
System analysis involves creating a formal model of the problem to
be solved by understanding requirements.

Motivation: -
The objective of the project on University is to manage the details of
Students, Classes, Instructors, and Courses. The project is totally built
at administrative end and thus only the administrator is guaranteed
the access. The purpose of the project is to build an application
program to reduce the manual work for managing the Students,
Registrations and Classes. It tracks all the details about the
students, faculties, courses.
The aim of the proposed system is to develop a system of improved
facilities. The proposed system can overcome all the limitations of
the existing system. The system provides proper security and reduces
the manual work.
 Security of data.
 Ensure data accuracy’s.
  Proper control of the higher officials.
 Minimize manual data entry.
 Minimum time needed for various processing.
 Greater efficiency.
 Better service.
 User friendliness and interactive.

Literature: -

engaging online spaces for their learners.
Learn Dash- Learn Dash is a popular WordPress LMS plugin that
works for both serious academic institutions, solo course creators,
and everyone in between. It can help you create unlimited courses,
add unlimited lessons and topics, quiz your learners, require
assignments, etc. 
Brightspace- Brightspace is a powerful and flexible learning
management platform that promises to help drive better learning
outcomes by offering every learner a highly personalized, digital
experience. From the kindergarten classroom, to college campuses,
to global corporations, Brightspace aims to help create inspired and
engaging learning for all.
Sakai- Sakai is an open-source learning management system
provided by the Apero Foundation. The LMS provides what it calls
Core and Expanded Features. The Core Features encompass an
integrated tool set that is tested by the Sakai community members
and is then included with each new release. 

Objective: -
The objective of developing such a computerized system is to reduce
the paper work and safe of time in school management. It reduces
the stress and gain easy access to both students and staffs record. It
also aims at providing a well secure database management system.
Most importantly, this project work aims at eliminating the problems
encountered in the manual system of human resources management
system. It manages all the information about student profiles, fees,
courses, etc.
The project is totally built at administrative end and thus only the
administrator is guaranteed the access. The purpose of this project is
to build an application program to reduce the manual work for
managing the profiles, courses, student logins. It tracks all the details
about the logins, exams, fees. The system provides flexibility of
generating the required documents on screen as well as on printer as
and when required.
Planning of Work: -
Planning-
We discussed the process of scoping out a project and see tools that
can help us identify what should be included in our project. We
learned about sequencing project tasks and the nature of the
dependencies among project activates.
Timing-
Project time management directly impacts the quality, scope, and
cost of a project. Managing time helps to secure project completion
time
Development-
The development will be shown gradually through the weeks as we
progress to complete the project with the help of our mentors.
Communication-
Communication will basically run within a circle of our teacher, and
mentor and the team members. As open communication is a very
imp part for completing the project.
Execution-
Team execution will always be our topmost priority as it wont make
sense it we complete the project but are not able to execute it and
that will also be done properly with the help of our mentor and
proper teamwork.
