Schenck calibration procedure with DISOMAT Tersus For turret:

Note: If two DISOBOX PLUS scales are disturbed and DISOMAT Tersus controller showing M7501-N
(either 1 or 2) DISOBOX ERROR message. So follow below calibration procedure

Pre-conditions:

1. First ensure RS-485 connections tightness and correct connections as per diagram at DISOBOX
PLUS 1&2 and DISOMAT Tersus
2. All connections are ok , so follow below procedure
3. Information: 1. Master acts as a DISOMAT Tersus controller
2. Slave-1 acts as a DISOBOX PLUS -1 (arm-1)
3. Slave-2 acts as a DISOBOX PLUS -2 (arm-2)
4. In both DISOBOX PLUS boxes we need to put SCALE-1 only in all channel of
loadcell for both slave-1 and slave-2 and configure with different names like
DISOBOX PLUS -1 set as a SLAVE-1 and DISOBOX PLUS -2 set as a SLAVE-2.
5. When both DISOBOX PLUS boxes RS-485 communication established to
DISOMAT Tersus controller, then only the M7501-N(either 1 or 2) DISOBOX
ERROR message will disappear and SCALE-1&2 option appear in “57:SCALE”
parameter.
6. Passwords: parameter setting: 393852
Configuration : 618349
Calibration :505442
Service parameter(5) : 235711

4. Calibration procedure:

Step-1: Switch off the total power supply of DISOMAT Tersus controller and DISOBOXes.

Step-2: At first only turn power on to the DISOBOX PLUS -2 designated as SLAVE-2 and DISOMAT
Tersus controller.

Step-3: DISOMAT boots up, the event message” power fail” will be displayed in the topmost row

Step-4: Press the [quit] button to clear message

Step-5: Go into parameter 41: password Enter configuration password – 618349.

Step-6: Go into parameter 448: Meas input configuration Set Measurement input 1 to “off”

Set Measurement input 2 to “off”

Step-7: Go into parameter 43321: Disonet mode Select interface “S1”

Select net position “Master”

Step-8: Go into parameter 43322: Interfaces Select interface “S1”

Select physics “RS-485 2-WIRE”
Select Baud rate “115kbs”
Hand shake “off”
Data “8bit no” and Stop bit “1”

Step-9: Go into parameter 4471: Configuration Set count of DISOBOX PLUSES TO “2”.

Step-10: Go into parameter 43322: Slave list Select slave 1 “YES”

(Leave the other parameters set to “NO”)

Step-11: Go into parameter 4474: Address setup Serial no ……….. (Not required)

Set Net position “slave-2”.

Note: now the slave-2 agained to DISOBOX PLUS-2 and the M7501-2 DISOBOX ERROR message will
disappear and the M7501-1 DISOBOX ERROR message will appear

Step-12: Turn power on to the DISOBOX PLUS -1 designated as SLAVE-1.

Note: The M7501-1 DISOBOX ERROR message will disappear

Step-13: Go into parameter 43322: Slave list Select slave 2 “YES”

(Leave the other parameters set to “NO”)

Step-14: Go into parameter 41: password Enter configuration password – 515442.

Step-15: Go into parameter 446: SELECT SCALE Select “scale-1” and press “enter” button.

Note: So now we entered into SLAVE-1 (arm-1) and Go into parameter 441: calibration parameters

Unit: “t”
Maxi value: 70.000t
digit: 0.500 like that….

Step-15A: Go into parameter 4472: CHANNEL Select “Channel-1” and press “enter” button.

Enter scale option: “scale-1” and similarly channel-2, 3&4 also enter “scale-1” in scale option

Step-16: Go into parameter 446: SELECT SCALE Select “scale-2” and press “enter” button.

Note: So now we entered into SLAVE-2 (arm-2) and Go into parameter 441: calibration parameters
Unit: “t”
Maxi value: 70.000t
digit: 0.500 like that….

Step-16A: Go into parameter 4472: CHANNEL Select “Channel-1” and press “enter” button.

Enter scale option: “scale-1” and similarly channel-2, 3&4 also enter “scale-1” in scale option
