1. Read the following passages for ten (10) minutes.
a) Quotation from Plato’s Apology (38a): “The unexamined life is not worth living.”
2. Did you enjoy reading the quotations? Yes! If so, you might consider answering the
following questions:
a. What does Plato mean when he says “unexamined life”?
 Plato means that having a mechanical life with an unthinking routine, under the rules
of others without ever examining whether or not they truly want to live with those
routines or rules is basically not worth living anymore.
b. Based on the Ferriols’ text, what do you think the students are thinking when they are
diligently copying the instructions given by the teacher instead of diving into the pool?
 I think, that is because there’s a fear of swimming among the students. Even
though the teacher gave them the instructions, the students still don’t know how
to swim on actual .
c. Why is the teacher so keen on making the learners jump in the swimming pool instead of
just taking down notes on how to swim?
 The teacher wants the students to gain a better understanding of how to swim.
The teacher wants them to learn from their experience. and is more narrowly
defined as "learning through reflection on doing". The teacher know that
experience serves a basis for reflection. From reflections, the students can
develop ideas.

life is an interesting adventure worth living. I enjoy every bit of my life and
enjoy things around me such as, beautiful landscape, budding flowers, green
scenery, wonders of science seen in different forms, marvels of city life, the leisure
of free time, etc. Though much of my daily life is routine-based, yet the variety and
diversity of daily existence make my daily life an exciting adventure. My day
begins at 6:00 a.m. My mother wakes me up with a hot cup of milk. After sipping
the hot milk, I do workout at our garage. After that, I brush my teeth and get ready
for my study which continues undisturbed up to my lunch. Whenever I finish my
class on the morning session, I will eat my lunch and help my mother to clean the
house. After that, I will go back to study at 1:30 pm – 4:30 pm. Before I go to
sleep, I always check my laptop and schedule to see if I missed any activities in
that day.

I always remind myself that having a time management is really important.

Time management helps me to prioritize my tasks so that I ensure I have enough
time available to complete every project. The quality of my work increases when I
am not rushing to complete it ahead of a fast approaching deadline. In that way of
thinking, I have realized that Most successful people in the world attribute their
success to effective time management activities which they do in their routine life.
Because I believe that Time plays a significant role in our life. Time helps us
make a good habit of structuring and organizing our daily activities.
