1. Identify the benefits and drawbacks of all possible ICT tools for teaching and learning.

The benefits of ICT tools for teaching and learning are it attracts the students’
interest in learning, increases their motivation and performance and having an
interaction and relationship between the student the educator. Increase also the
students’ competence based on global needs through skill shaping and increasing their
knowledge, as well as able to enhance students’ cooperative learning through
community of practice. However the constraints are educators lacking knowledge of
ICT like identifying the appropriate applications in their teaching, minimal training and
opportunities for learning about ICT like the need to prepare the equipment before
starting the learning process and weak technical support.

2. Identify the key issues and challenges identified as significant in teachers’ use of ICT tools.
Indicate the possible solution.
•Lacking knowledge of ICT tools- workshops must increased like openness of teachers on the
tools that they had never before heard of and broadening their understanding of the vast array
of ICT tools available.

with the correct ICT systems and support, teachers can save time.
•Limited accessibility and network connection, the possible solution is Networks and services
need to be affordable, for both schools and individuals. Broadband infrastructure to make full
use of what the Internet can offer. Widespread access to equipment that is necessary to run.
Educational computer programs and routine access to hardware and internet connection is a
fundamental requirement.
